Interesting Fact: The Imperial Capital District (aka Central Plaza, its former code name), has been either heavily damaged or destroyed four times since its creation in 1979's as Orson's new capital.

The first time occurred in 1996, during the 2nd Orson Civil War. Rebels serving under the Communist Republic of Orson (the largest of the rebel organizations in Orson) razed numerous portions of the capital during the Battle of Central Plaza, including government buildings such as the Imperial High Court (though they did not reach the Senate Complex, which was too heavily defended). The Imperial Army managed to eventually repulse the communists, and the Communist Republic was completely destroyed by the Empire by 1999.

The second time occurred during the Plaza Massacre, and the immediate events occurring after it in 2006. The inner convocation chamber of the Senate Complex was heavily damaged by gunfire during the massacre. After the massacre, the Imperial Army sent thousands of troops into the city as part of a military coup; the Orson Intelligence Agency, backed up elements of the Australian Territorial Police and other police departments (who were loyal to the Senate) attempted to stop the coup and save democracy in Orson. For one week, fighting broke out in Central Plaza between the two sides, until the Imperial Army came out victories. Several blocks of buildings and homes were destroyed in Central Plaza.

The third time occurred in 2026, when Federalist rebels seized control of the city after a long siege. The defending Imperial forces were massacred, and Central Plaza had been completely destroyed by artillery bombardments, air strikes, and grueling urban warfare. Members of the Imperial Council had been trapped in the city for weeks with no way out; after the siege ended, the Federalists forced them to disband the remnants of the Orson Empire, and they were subsequently executed. All major government buildings, including the Senate Complex, were left gutted by the siege. Central Plaza remained abandoned for years, until it was finally rebuilt by the Orson Federation in the 2030's.

The fourth time occurred in 2053, when Monarchist rebels seized control of Central Plaza. Federalist forces attempted to defend the city from the Monarchist siege for months, but they eventually surrendered to the Monarchists. Evana Boehm, Chancellor of the Federation at the time, and some senators refused to leave the city, preferring to stay and help defend the capital rather than flee like cowards; they and the thousands of surrendering Federalists were taken as prisoners of war. The Monarchists razed the city to the ground, and heavily looted all government buildings; at the Senate Complex in particular, they destroyed countless paintings and sculptures that adorned its halls, and even managed to destroy the original paper copy of the Orsonian Constitution (which was on display in the Complex). The city was completely rebuilt again from the ground up after the war ended.

Wolf Class Tank Series:

Armament(standard variant): Dark Matter Cannon, coaxial Hardlight Auto-Repeater, 2 missile launchers.

The Wolf is the primary Imperial tank. Originally intended as one design, it proved to be so effective, it was expanded into an entire series of armoured vehicles. It is a sleek vehicle, equipped with anti-gravity drives. It's armament consists of a turetted Dark Matter Cannon, and a coaxial Hardlight Auto- Repeater. On each side of the turret, there is a missile launcher to launch anti-tank or anti-air munitions. The Wolf is defended by a pair of shield generators, and thick plates of ACE, and ERA armor. Some of the variants of the Wolf are listed below:

Artonic Cannon Variant:
Enlarged and armed with a large Artonic Cannon, this is used as an anti-orbital asset, to destroy enemy spacecraft and other orbital assets such as satellites. All other weapons replaced.

Artillery Variant:
Armed with a 150mm Cannon and two missile pods, used for long-range artillery support, and used to destroy buildings and armoured columns.

Flame variant:
Used to clear out trenches, pillboxes, and in urban warfare environments. Armed with two huge plasmic spewers, and incendiary grenade launchers. Also used in terror or psychological operations.

Anti-Air Variant:
Armed with six Hardlight Auto-Repeaters, four Plasmic Charge Cannons(set to airburst), and two missile pods, the AA Wolf is used to swat enemy aircraft from the sky.

Mobile Stealth Field Generator:
This variant is very uncommon, and is intended to hide forces from enemy detection, be it via visual or sensors. It is typically seen protecting high-value convoys, artillery units, or VIP transports.

Mobile Shield Generator:
Another uncommon variant, this creates an immense spherical shield over an area configured by the operator. It is commonly used in conjunction with the Stealth Field Generator.

Anti-Infantry Variant: A quad-barreled Hardlight Auto-Repeater is mounted atop the turret to suppress infantry, as well as two grenade launchers.

Any other variant ideas? Thoughts?

Novo Wagondia wrote:Do any of you guys have territorial disputes with other countries in the EOA? They would make good powder kegs if we wanted to RP a diplomatic incident or even a border skirmish (I'm looking especially closely at the SRA-Orson border rn)

The last time the Republic had a territorial dispute, the Felucians and Orsonians went to war....and that was settled out (sort of).

Anyways, would the dispute between the PRC and ROC (China and Taiwan) count in this matter, or was that thrown out the window when I received the Republic of China?

2274
The Sterkian Navy has completed the gargantun effort of strategically placing Time warp nodes around the border of the Aperox Galaxy and Alpha Centuri systems. Preparing the Sterkian Territories for Time Travel.

2009
The Sterkian Territory from 2274 has successfully synced
with the Territory from 2009, and the 2009 technology has been replaced with the Modern technology, thanks to the nodes. At this time, casualties from the warp only amount in the hundreds. A complete success by all means.
The Superintendent Forerunner has promised that contact will be made with Earth Territories in due time.

Courser Class Utility Vehicle:

The Courser is an anti-gravity vehicle, (with optional 4 wheel drive tires) vehicle, with an enclosed compartment housing the driver and a passenger, with the gunners bed housing a turret, and space for four passengers. Thus, in total five passengers are carried, a basic Imperial Army Fireteam. The forward passenger can fire from the side seat. The Courser is defended by a layer of ERA and ACE armor, and a shield generator. There are many variants of the Courser, (the most common of which are the Light Recon and the Anti-Vehicle) some of which are detailed below:

Courser Class Light Recon Vehicle:
Armed with a Hardlight Auto-Repeater, the LRV is used to clear out infantry and scout locations ahead of the main battle force. Standard version.

Courser Class Light Anti-Vehicle:
The LAV is armed with a Particle Cannon.

Courser Class Light Artillery Unit:
The LAU is armed with a double-barreled light artillery piece, and a pair of missile pods.

Courser Class Anti-Aircraft Vehicle:
The AAV is armed with two missile pods and a pair of Hardlight Cannon(to blast apart aircraft)

Courser Class Engineering Vehicle:
The EV is equipped with a Terrain Deformation Device, a crane mounted instead of a turret, and a wide variety of equipment inside the vehicle's storage bays.

Courser Class Light Cargo Vehicle:
The LCV has its turret removed, and its bed extended to accommodate more cargo.

Wolf Class Psychological Warfare Unit:
The PWU is equipped with a pair of loudspeakers and lights, and can play either Mesmerizing audio/video or project images or Hardlight, based off of analysis of enemy culture and the best way to demoralize troops.

Courser Class Mobile Snipers Nest:
The MSN is equipped with a Hardlight sniper rifle, and a wide variety of cloaking devices.

Courser Class Field Ambulance:
The rear of the Courser is replaced by a sterile cabin capable of holding four stretchers and accompanying medical staff, or four temporal stasis pods for the more critically wounded. Alternatively, a Followers of the Apocalypse Auto-Doc can be set up on the rear of the Courser. Marked as a medical vehicle, all versions of the Courser field ambulance lack weapons or protection.

Courser Class Chemical Projector Vehicle:
Equipped with a sealed cabin and a turret remotely operated rather than by a physical gunner, the CPV is equipped with a pair of chemical missile launchers and a flamethrower/chemical projector. It can also deploy biological weapons, and shoot dispersal pods for the seeds of weaponized plants from Project Midnight Forest.

Courser Class Droid Deployer: Rear and turret replaced by a bay capable of housing and maintaining one Sentry Bot, ten Assaultrons, one Securitron, or ten other droids.

Courser Class Light Transport:
Like the CPV, the LT is equipped with a cabin in the rear. It has an extended frame, and can hold up to ten troops, and has two Hardlight turrets operated from within the vehicle.

Courser Class Mobile Lab:
A rare variant, the ML is primarily used by Torchwood field research teams, and has a cabin replacing the rear, with several stasis chambers for holding specimens or artifacts. Often used by Torchwood to recover Drakul specimens or corpses to determine which strain is being faced, a feral strain or a controlled strain.

Courser Class Drakul Termination Vehicle:
Equipped with a completely sealed cabin(Drakul stingers have been known to occasionally enter firing ports and infect soldiers) and a remotely operated silver machine gun, the DTV is equipped with UVC headlights, and a silver plating on the exterior to deter attack by mobs of Drakul.

Finally got to play Star Wars Battlefront 2 online. You know, the 2005 one that the majority of older gamers think is way better than the one EA made DICE publish.

The Human troops advanced through the night, towards the city. They were to conduct reconnaissance on Cybusian positions, and relay information back to command. They were climbing a bluff overlooking the city, to get a vantage point. They were surprised to see people in cloaks atop the bluff, a bonfire lit. A moment later, the cloaked figures turned as the squad approached. Both groups were silent. "Are you servants of the Empire?" Asked one of the figures, whose cloak was black and red. "No, we-" His words were cut off when he abruptly started choking, spitting up blood from his mouth before falling in a heap on the ground. The man lowered his hand. "Kill them" He said. Another one of them, wearing a blue and red cloak, extended their hand and a jet of flame immolated one of the shocked rebels, rolling around screaming in a desperate attempt to stop the flames. The other two rebels opened fire with their assault rifles, but were surprised to see the bullets fail to penetrate the cloaks. One of them raised his palm and an arc of lightning shot out from in front of it, flash-frying another soldier. The last rebel turned and ran, but his legs abruptly gave out as the man in red and black extended his hand, the muscles abruptly no longer working to keep him moving, and he collapsed to the ground, face-first. A moment later, the Heartrender clenched his fist. The rebel was coughing up blood, as his heart was crushed inside his chest. He died shortly thereafter.

The Heartrender smiled darkly before turning back to the bonfire, and chanting praise to Alexander.

Never played any Star Wars games, so I'll take your word for it.
Designed some new stuff. Plan to feature the Grisha more.

2009:

Alexander was appraised of the situation, looking on in suprise at the Torchwood report that a nation had appeared from nowhere. He ordered diplomatic relations established. An ambassador, Taylor Volcrus, was sent to try to contact this new nation.

Crusader Class Assault Striker:
Armament: 1 Particle Cannon, 1 Hardlight Auto-Repeater, 1 missile launcher

Recognizing the need for a swift, heavily armored transport on the battlefield, Colossus Defense Engineering, famous for its Avenger Class Destroyer, set about designing a brand new armored behemoth for the Imperial Army and Marine Corps, that would still fit with the Imperial combat doctrine, which emphasizes speed, adaptability, and protection. The result, first deployed in 2021, was the Crusader Class Assault Striker.

The Crusader is equipped with room for twenty-five troops or humanoid droids in its tracked chassis(anti-gravity drives are mounted if increased agility is needed), with firing ports, and has a Particle Cannon, and coaxial Hardlight Auto-Repeater along with a missile launcher, mounted in a turret atop the hull operated by a gunner inside the Crusader. The Crusader can achieve speeds of up to 100 MPH, and can use it's bulk to blow through walls and defenses to reach its target and unload its troops. As if that wasn't enough, the Crusader can literally crush smaller vehicles under its treads, driving over them and crushing it under its weight. Special rollers inside these treads refabricate the crushed bits of metal, and use them to repair itself.

The Assault Striker is equipped with a pair of shield generators, a laser point defense system to terminate incoming missiles, and loudspeakers. It also has fabricators in the passenger bay, along with an extensive armory. The Crusader is protected by one foot of ACE and ERA armor over Solidified Hydrium plate armor. The Crusader also houses three Raptor Class Drones, for infantry support and suppressing and engaging enemy infantry, as well as reconnaissance. These can be deployed while the vehicle is moving.

As his shuttle entered the Alpha Centuri system it was a hub of activity, cruisers were chasing down fleeing Reclusian frigates as they burned before reaching FTL.
Two interceptors flew past the shuttle, curling around and providing them an escort. Directing it toward a super-cruiser sitting at the rear of the fleet, surrounded by escorts. The guns of the escorts tracked the shuttle, preparing to fire in the case it was hostile.

I enjoy Battlefront 2, but I wish I still had by battlefront 1 disc for my PS2.. Also a second controller. So many fun moments with that ancient game, like the time I killed luke as a snowtrooper with my blaster rifle because the rifle overheated and fired two shots at once and the AI blocked the one going for their foot and got headshot by the second one.

I am excited for battlefront 2.. (Because we can't have nice things they have to name the new upcoming battlefront game the same name as an older one) since it has galactic conquest and lets you play during different periods like in the older titles.

The Crow Class Dropship, modified for use as a diplomatic shuttle, lacked weapons, due to being a diplomatic vessel. But it was sufficiently agile enough to dodge fire until it could use its Jaunt drive to escape. But it remained on course. Two Agents clad in suit, fedora, and trenchcoat, exited the shuttle when it landed, before a tall man in a suit exited, a warm smile on his pale face.

Blitz Class Hovertank:
Armament: Heavy Particle Cannon, 2 Hardlight Auto-Repeaters.

The Blitz is an Imperial Army hovertank designed for rapid strikes and flanking maneuvers, and was partially designed to counter the Ocearan doctrine of heavy use of artillery. The Blitz has a fighter-grade engine, and advanced antigravity drives, granting it speeds unmatched by most other land vehicles. The sheer speed makes it an excellent first strike vehicle, controlled by AI, used to eliminate hostile armor, before speeding through enemy lines to terminate artillery. Blitzes often "strafe" targets, by coming in at maximum speed while an AI fires the weapons, then turning around for another pass, all the while taking evasive maneuvers to avoid return fire. A pair of Hardlight Auto-Repeaters are mounted to engage infantry.

The Blitz has a shield generator and a thin layer of ACE and ERA armor. It is often controlled by AI.

The interceptors broke away, a Marine in zero-g using two glowsticks guided them in to land, seeing as it appeared the control room of the hangar was clipped by a plasma torpedo.

As they exited the craft there was a tall, possibly 9 foot man with 8 eyes, four arms, and grey skin awaiting them in formal attire. Alongside him were two Marines, weapons facing the floor.
"Welcome to Sterkistan, and the pride of our fleet, the Gallagher. Please follow me, all will be explained in due time."
He turned on his heels and began walking, "Please excuse the safety measures and shooting, we are currently in a war zone."
As he said this the opposite side of the hangar erupted in gunfire as Reclusian forces attempted to board the flagship, either being gunned down by Marines or by AI turrets on the hull. The Negotiator ignored the firefight, as did the Marines.

"Hello. Taylor Volcrus, representative of the Cybusian Empire." He followed, the two Agents following him. They wielded weapons which looked similar to the old "tommy guns", but with small glowing chambers on the drum that would normally hold bullets. They kept them pointed at the floor. Volcrus was not fazed by the combat, confident that he couldn't be harmed.

I am going to be updating my "Most Notable People" factbook with new formatting. I'm currently working on President Calaway, but it's taking a lot longer than I expected....so it may take a long while before the actual update is finished since I have a lot of people to be putting information on with the new format.
