As of now, the government of The Dolphin Isles has declared that they are halting all commercial flights between the home islands and its overseas possessions and the nation of Cream sauce with government subsidized charter flights only being available to humanitarian NGOs working in the region. As of 0530 hours this morning, the Jester was within helicopter range of the indicated site. Scouting has provided no recovery thus far, but there is promising data; A few containers swept away by current was located via radar just 6 miles away from the reported site. Cooperating with UADI vessels in the area, CHS-12 and IFN Jester have begun searching in patterns that will hopefully yield positive results for the crew.

Stateside News
The Ionona Transit Agency is planning new ferry routes from the mainland to the Carrow Peninsula, and in the northern islands. The Peninsula shares a western border with Fumathan, where the islands are in coastal waters farther east into the Axehead Sea.
Military News
IFN survey officials are moderately on edge with the continuing war on the Eastern Continent. Although out of reach, the survey ships in the Axehead Sea are making plenty of progress and we'll have an update later this week of their findings. One of the ships destined for the new islands has departed North Chamde with a total compliment of 3400 civilians. With the small amount of Naval support, these settlers will be some of the first on these islands, hoping to turn them into a modern paradise! The IFN Ehle, one of the new Marker-class Littoral Combat Ships will be accompanying the transport vessel for security and support.
3rd fleet deployed a small task force near Porpoise isle for peacekeeping, but no naval action has been reported. IFN Ships are keeping the Axehead Sea mouth clear of potential hostile traffic, and allowing the surveyors to continue their duties.
An unnamed, but important officer in the Federal Navy has resigned earlier this week, said in a private interview with the IFN Communications Division press release. Supposedly, it was because of the early return of one of the fleets participating in the military exercise Operation Eclipse in Great coalition waters. No other news on this topic has sprung from the personnel in that fleet, but hopefully we'll learn more in the coming weeks.

The constant peace negotiations between St Jameses and Taoist northlands since the ceasefire several months ago have finally born fruit, as the two nations have signed the Treaty of Seyda Neen today, securing a formal end to the war. St Jameses territorial integrity has been preserved, and the Taoist Northlands has agreed to demilitarize the border with St Jameses and provide war reparations to the nation.
It is a day of celebration for St Jameses, which barely survived the conflict. Already the emergency military government is preparing to return power to the civilian government and parliament, although faith in these institutions may be severely weakened by their collapse during the war.
With the war now concluded with St Jameses, and Naoya Toudou removed as Hortator, the representatives from each of the Great Houses have convened to choose a monarch for the nation.
The ambitions of a Greater Taoist Northlands, or a reunified Calradicia led by the Taoists are effectively dead.
With the war concluded elections for the reinstated parliament of St Jameses have been held, and the result is an overwhelming Liberal victory. The collapse of the Conservative government, and the persecution of the Vehm and Nova Calradicia factions by the military government have led to a significant decline in support for right-winged elements. The people want nothing more than social programs to assist them in recovering from an invasion that devastated much of the nation.
Already Prime Minister Justice Ingrid has begun to guide his government into enacting these social reforms, and has kickstarted multiple government agencies with the aim at reinvigorating the economy and providing jobs to returning soldiers and those who lost their jobs in the war. Many have described it as a “new deal” of sorts.

BREAKING UPDATE: Naval Disaster in the South Saber Rattling Sea
This is a continuation of our report earlier this week about the sinking of the UADI cargo ship, the Kelekolio.
A spokesperson for the Navy of 
Janusus has stated that they spotted a lifeboat at 10:30 local time in the South Saber Rattling Sea. They quickly dispatched resources to retrieve the lifeboat and discovered 4 crew members of the Kelekolio on board. Despite being obviously shaken by the disaster, the spokesperson for the Navy stated that they all seemed to be in healthy condition. These sailors were especially lucky to find the lifeboat and to be able to detach it in time to retreat to safety as these lifeboats contain a plethora of survival equipment as is standard according to UADI regulations.
The previous day, another lifeboat was found by the IFN Arabis of the Navy of Foledonia. This lifeboat had no one on board and had a massive hole and a snapped cable suggesting that it was not able to separate from the ship before it fully sank and broke free due to it being sealed still. This suggests that the ship was listing too far to one side for this apparatus to be used or that no sailors were able to reach it in time.
It has been two days since the Kelekolio sank and 9 of its original 13 crew members remain missing. Both lifeboats have been found, but there were still two life raft capsules on the ship as well as a number of life vests and survivor suits.
UPDATE: A spokesperson for the Navy of Foledonia has stated that one of their helicopters spotted a survival suit in the water at around 15:45 local time. Upon further inspection, they discovered a person in the suit. They quickly dispatched a swimmer and brought the castaway into their helicopter. However, the person was soon found to be without a pulse upon being brought into the helicopter. The body of the deceased was brought back to the Foledonian naval ship to be prepared to be sent to the proper UADI authorities to be identified.
It has been three days since the Kelekolio has been sank and 8 of its original 13 crew members remain missing and one has been confirmed deceased.
UPDATE 2: The spokesperson for the navy of Janusus has said that they have discovered a life raft from the Kelekolio at 19:15, just a few minutes before sunset. Inside, there were 3 survivors that were dehydrated and suffering from the elements, but were brought back to good health in just a few hours once brought aboard the JS Tolliver.
It has been seven days since the sinking of the Kelekolio and 5 of the original 13 crewmembers still remain missing with one being confirmed deceased.
Janusus and Foledonia
The Great Council has convened, and chosen a new monarch from among the heads of the Great Houses. From Alain Zhang from House Zhang will be taking the Taoist throne as King Alain I.
His ascent was met with applause from a war weary populace, and in his coronation speech he vowed that the Taoist Northlands would not send its sons to fight and die in another war aimed at forcibly reunifying Calradicia.
It is hoped that this peace in the region will last.

At the direction of the Arch-Seer of Ionona, Admiral Preston Decker will establish a Joint-Forward Operating Base in Northern The Dolphin Isles territory as 17th Fleet under the command of Vice Admiral Jericho Melloch.
“To ensure the protection of Ionona's interests in naval competency we must apply the necessary focus, energy, and resources to the task – and that is exactly what 17th will do. The Dolphinesian People want to create stronger ties with our armed forces, and we wish the same.” said VA. Melloch. “Admiral Decker is acutely aware of the vital role that the navy plays in Iononan national security and our way of life and is an ideal choice to lead this new command. Establishing the 17th Fleet as a unified combatant training and it's Joint-Forward Operating Base is the next critical step towards Iononan naval advancement.”
“Assured access to 17th Fleet is vital across the full range of military operations,” said VA Melloch. “This step puts us on a path to maintain a competitive advantage in this critical war fighting domain.”
Jack sits down in the situation room for his morning brief. "Before we get started, I'd like to know the status and number of teams we have operating in Fumathan assisting their government." Jack says.
"Sir, we a total of seven direct action teams and eleven intelligence teams. From our last communication we are nearing a point of no return. All but four of the top syndicate leaders have been identified and marked for arrest in the coming days. Fumathanian elements have assisted at each step. The president is confident we can make these arrests without the need for their military to get involved but should it become necessary he will declare martial law. In our own assessment sir, we believe open insurrection might take place should Fumathanian law enforcement move too aggressively in the coming days. A good majority of the outlying areas that cooperated with the syndicate have been under their protection and have seen crime drop as a result. Should insurrection take place, we would be in the best position to provide peace keepers and assist with minimizing the threat." Admiral Leverich, director of the CIA says.
"Very well, General Kozak, I want a rapid response regiment to begin training in advanced counter insurgency operations to supplement our current specialists in the field. I don't want to have to deploy too many special forces when normal soldiers can do the job. I also need you to coordinate with Military Airlift Command to get a solid plan of action to get large amounts of men and material where they need to go should they be needed. Those plans will be classified Top Secret. Our involvement will not be relieved by some negligent clerks."
Kozak nods as he scribbles notes in his notebook.
"Minister!" an aid yells as he runs down a corridor. "Minister we need to lea.." the door at the end of the cooridor blasts open. Men, clad in black tactical gear burst through the door. The first 3 men carry large green non lethal shotguns. The rest are armed with AK-107s. Minister Romanov scrambles to shread as many documents as he can before the men get to him. His secretary pulls a pistol from her desk and begins firing wildly down the corridor. Two loud thumps send high velocity beanbags into her chest, sending her to the ground. After the men clear the rest of the building they stack up on the ministers grand door.
"Minister Romanov! Open up. We know you're in there. Come out before anyone gets killed." One of the men shouts
A muffled gunshot is heard right before the men breach the door. Minister Romanov is still sitting in his chair but is missing a sizable chunk of his head.
"This is blue team. The minister took his own life. Building secure. Paramedics are clear." the leader says into his radio.

17th Fleet base construction is underway on newly named Wake Island. Joint-Base Rush is outlined to host a 2-Fleet rotation, supplied by national logistics with on-base amenities served by local businesses and manufacturers. The Dolphin Isles' civilian population on the island are highly enthusiastic about the military cooperation, but are aware that with the new base on the island, the average noise level will increase. The base will offset this by using sound-absorbing construction near the edges of high-traffic roads and runway.
The airfield consists of a pair of 1.66 mile runways with a unique design projected to handle a higher average load than proportional mainland civilian airfields. This project prototypes the future of Iononan civil, commercial, and military aviation. The Navy and IFAA have collaborated for 6 years on the project in an effort to decrease construction dead-space.

Cream Sauce forces have been steadily advancing into New atkins, and the Atkins forces have not been able to put up a coherent resistance as they are largely disorganized from previous warfare and internal issues. This was exacerbated today as Cream Sauce forces have secured the capture of Nashville, capital of New Atkins. Cream Sauce forces allegedly have torched numerous buildings, and have enacted vicious crimes against Atkins military and civilian persons alike. Cream Sauce forces defend this by saying they are exacting revenge for what Atkins forces did to Bruma.
With the capture of Nashville and the whereabouts of Atkins leader Adamas Pelley unknown, a collapse of the Atkins state appears imminent. Cream Sauce’s neighbors are undoubtedly eyeing the situation warily.
The late afternoon sun burns low in the sky. The Emperor takes the hastily prepared stage. He taps the microphone to gain the attention of the crowd and begins to speak. The sound of waves lapping at the headlands curry a calm sentiment to the evening.
"Good afternoon my countrymen," he began, "I'm overjoyed to see you all here today. I have the honor to announce that the SSTS is to be officially opened tonight!"
The crowd roared a cheer as the Emperor allowed his hands to shoot into the air. He spun on his heel and snipped a great blue ribbon with a pair of scissors. The fine silk fluttered away, opening the roadway. As the paparazzi and reporters began their fusillade of camera shots, the Emperor readdressed them.
"Our brothers in Foland and our allies across the straight in Janusus have worked hard for this day. They are as much to thank as our own hard browed work crews. Let's hear it for our labor!"
Again, the crowd cheered.
"Thank you all for coming! I hope that this engineering marvel will bring our nations closer together and strengthen the bonds we share. With that, I have a record to set. Good night Foledonia!"
The crowd collectively lost its mind as the Emperor left the stage and climbed into a slender and expensive looking sports car. Its tail pipe flashed an orange flame as the Emperor stabbed the gas and became the first person to cross the Sabre Rattling Sea by car.
Western maropia announces it has entered into a military alliance with 
Nation for Mutual Security.
The Dolphin Isles, Great coalition, and Ionona
Protests have broken out in cities situated in the eastern region of Western maropia. Protesters are claiming the government hasn't done enough to reunite their fellow Maropians which have been absorbed into Ionona. Protesters have been gathering all afternoon and have shown no signs of dispersing. So far law enforcement has kept things peaceful and we hope they stay that way.

Cream Sauce forces have just confirmed the death of the Chief of New Atkins: Adamas Pelley. Pictures released by the military show Pelley dead via three bullet wounds to the head.
With the capture of Nashville, the death of Chief Pelley, and the disorganized and demoralized nature of its troops, New Atkins is at a breaking point, and it is likely they will come to terms and accept Cream Sauce occupation. The once proud nation has fallen...
The government of The United Archipelago of The Dolphin Isles would like to express its formal concern over the situation in the Axehead Sea. We believe that this endangerment of the peace of the region and its sea lanes where so much trade is conducted is irresponsible and we hope that a peaceful conclusion to tensions may be brought about soon. We also support the Maropian claim to reunite its people under a common banner. The division of an island with a common people and a common history under two different governments, one of which being a foreign power, is simply a scenario that the government of the United Archipelago cannot endorse.
Today, the Commonwealth of New Atkins formally surrendered to Cream Sauce. What remnants of the military have, to their great relief, ceased fighting. The remnants of the New Atkins government sat down in Nashville, and accepted an unconditional surrender.
The Treaty of Nashville has led to the annexation of the Atkins State into Cream Sauce, and already victorious Cream Sauce troops have joyfully begun patrolling the streets of various Atkins cities. The war weary populace is wary of their new occupiers, and the process towards reconciliation will take some time.
Christopher Cormack gave a speech in front of the Cathedral of Talos, already under reconstruction, and said that justice has finally been enacted.”
The other post-Atkins nations are in shock to say the least, and while no one will miss Atkins, the question remains whether or not this is the end of Cream Sauce’s ambition in the region.
The Dolphin Isles, Janusus, and Foledonia

In order to facilitate the distribution of aid to the nations of Faronnia and Beregon, a flotilla of cargo ships and accompanying escort vessels from New foledonia have been prepped and outfitted with the first wave of aid. There will be roughly a thousand Imperial Guardsmen accompanying the aid in order to help organize, prioritize, distribute and guard it.
In order to appeal to the requests of the two nations, that no more than 300 soldiers be present in their nation at a time, the first wave of aid will be sent between two different groups. Once the ships land in Beregon, the aid will be offloaded from the vessels onto trucks and sent first to Faronnia. Once the aid has arrived and distribution efforts are underway, the remainder of the aid will be offloaded and distributed within Beregon proper.
We implore the governments of the two nations to reconsider their request as it puts an arbitrary limit on the capabilities of a force that would otherwise be able to serve the populace in a much more efficient manner.
Following the distribution of aide, there will be two more waves that will be conducted in the same manner. It has been predicted that the operation will take at most three months to fully distribute the aid set aside for the two nations. We predict that roughly 50% of each nation can be reliably served. Assuming that only the basic of needs are met, we predict that number to jump by another 20%. We also predict that this aid will buy the served population fifteen weeks of autonomous life, again; assuming that said aid is stored properly and safely. We urge the governments of Beregon and Faronnia to work together and with their allies to reestablish public works as quick as possible. While Foledonia believes these numbers to be reliable, there's no telling how well the actual distribution operation will turn out. We must again urge those responsible to expedite public works.

With the capitulation of New Atkins fresh in the minds of many, Cream Sauce forces have begun moving into Notre Sagessee. The Notre Sagessee Army was on high alert, but have been steadily retreating as they were heavily outnumbered.
In a public announcement in Bruma, Christopher Cormack announced that the seizure of Notre Sagessee was vital to secure Cream Sauce’s naval interests, and to restore order and stability in the region. The invasion has already been denounced by Faronnia, Beregon, and Castannica, but it remains to be seen if these nations will take a larger collective action.
