NNCNEBETIA
President Highland Raises Alarm In SEIAA, Calls For Organization to Disband Amid Alecburgh Crisis

President Brett Highland is calling for the Southeastern International Association of Adula (SEIAA) to retire and disband amid ongoing civil conflict in Alecburgh.

As Alecburgh's government, lead by newly elected Prime Minister Sparrow Creed, ramps up preparations for military operations against insurgents in the newly-declared state of Cambria, President Highland is suggesting that Nebetia leave SEIAA and redistribute shared funding to other resources and organizations.

"We didn't join SEIAA to watch its founding member and headquartered state be party to continuous violence," Highland said. "We sympathize with those who have been harmed in this week's attacks, but we strongly condemn the government of Prime Minister Creed. SEIAA has become a sham organization. We don't support either side, not the Alecburgh government nor the insurrectionists. And we, the Nebetian government, will not be privy to seeing our support thrown behind anymore violence."

"I put forth a motion to the National Assembly, as well as the the governments of Togaria, Cyruda, Bazira, Ireqa, and the Mist Carthara Islands to abandon and dissolve SEIAA. We must not be pawns in the game of Alecburghian civil violence."

Alecburgh's recent violence and the political divide between that government and that of Nebetia's is the most recent in a long history of tense disagreements, and plays back into President Highland's rhetoric that Alecburgh is a failing state. Protests against Queen Diana turned violent when the monarch declared absolute rule and commanded forces to quell the civil disobedience, resulting in dozens of deaths. She only relinquished absolute rule amid growing international scrutiny in which many governments declared Alecburgh a dictatorship and an authoritarian state.

Highland continues to maintain that he does not believe Alecburgh's leading politicians are benefiting the Alecburghian people nor the nations of SEIAA and south Adula. He has repeatedly pointed to outcries and abbrasive rhetoric from Alecburghian politicians, like Queen Diana, who Highland has called "inexperienced, immature, and a whiny excuse for a leader." He called former-Prime Minister Benjamin Warren a "mad war-obsessed man" upon his conduct surrounding sending troops to the border of Saint Croix and Bens. While some critics point to Highland's language as inflammatory and encompassing of world leaders in general, supporters say that Highland consistently keeps the same message, which is "Alecburgh is bad, and they keep threatening the world," says Highland's Press Secretary Torry Halburth.

The comments don't only come on the heels of the intense response by Creed to the Republic of Cambria, but they follow naval deployment by Saint Croix and Bens as a "defensive measure" in response to the increased militarization by Alecburgh. It also comes as leaked transmissions show Alecburghian politicians attempted to coerce multiple nations in the region into ceding land claims to Alecburgh in exchange for other portions of land, which would have led to intense border shifts continent wide.

The leaked transmissions, from the UMR of Alecburgh, stated "We the United Matriarchy and Realms of Alecburgh have designated a new initiative in our nation, to become more widespread, and expansive. One way that the Alecburghish Government sees this as being possible, is a land trade between the Matriarchy and the Confederacy of Nebetia. We have many portions of land willing to be traded, and we hope that you can return us the favor and tell us if there are any portions of land in Nebetia you are willing to trade. We see two ourselves that have piqued our interest."

BESMENA, S.C.B. -
Two navy destroyers and a contingent of 350 Zamastanian troops have arrived at Beresa Naval Base in southern Saint Croix and Bens amid rapidly growing concerns about intensified Alecburgh military operations. The ZMS Guild and ZMS Shorthand, docked in Beresa alongside the Albarinean vessel ANV Auerbach, are part of a newly signed defense agreement between the WEDA powers and S.C.B.'s government under President William Urskabau.

4TH FLEET DETACHMENT ARRIVES IN S.C.B. AMID TENSIONS

Two Naval Vessels; the ZMS Guild and ZMS Shorthand and a Detachment of 350 Troops are Hosted at Beresa Naval Base

BERESA, S.C.B. - Two navy destroyers and a contingent of 350 Zamastanian troops have arrived at Beresa Naval Base in southern Saint Croix and Bens amid rapidly growing concerns about intensified Alecburgh military operations. The ZMS Guild and ZMS Shorthand, docked in Beresa alongside the Albarinean vessel ANV Auerbach, are part of a newly signed defense agreement between the WEDA powers and S.C.B.'s government under President William Urskabau.

The deployments come as Alecburgh's government considers military operations against separatists in the self-declared state of Cambria, after a terror attack claimed the lives of 23 civilians and injured hundreds more in the city of Aires. The self-declared Republic of Cambria, which announced their secession after Prime Minister Sparrow Creed was elected, has launched an intensive campaign of anti-Alecburghian government rhetoric. Their own declared Prime Minister, Jacque Boudreaux, is seen by many in the international community as an instigator.

However, Zamastanian foreign policy has increasingly been directed against the interests of the Alecburghian government. Their leaders, namely former-Prime Minister Benjamin Warren, Queen Diana of Kynnport, and now Prime Minister Creed have all been labeled as "unstable leaders" by moderators in the State Department. Repeated incidents of violence sparking up and civil conflict increasing due to their conduct has caused the State Department to time and time again label Alecburgh as a "failing state", and "authoritarian regime", and a "threat to the regional apparatus".

"We watch Alecburgh's volatile leadership closely at all times," said Secretary of State Jessiah Vallotis. "We're gravely worried about the impending sign of a civil war over the state of Luciano. Our direct motive is to protect the interests of our regional allies who may be placed in harm's way, such as Saint Croix and Bens and the Qolaysians. That is why we dispatched a contingent of troops to S.C.B. as a protective measure. Additionally, we are solely in the position of protecting our regional interests. Zamastanians in Alecburgh are being advised to return home or to other friendly nations. If a conflict breaks out over Luciano, we will not be able to ensure safety of Zamastanians in the region since a military response is the last option on the table for us."

President Moreau spoke to President Urskabau of S.C.B. on Wednesday, along with Albarine Chancellor Sadie Melhaven, as the two conducted a bilateral conference in Besema.

"I gave President Urskabau ensurance that Zamastan stands by the people of Saint Croix and Bens in their defense and preservation of their sovereignty." Moreau went on to say "they have been threatened before, and we saw the response of the international community. It's evident that they want preservation and not conflict."

Moreau also reached out to Prime Minister Sparrow Creed of Alecburgh, advising him to practice restraint.

"The Prime Minister promised to bring change to his nation following months of turmoil and political strife, but so far he has brought the same agenda of violent response to violent action. There has not been nor ever has been indication of diplomacy in the conduct of Alecburghian leadrs. Prime Minister Creed, do not continue the mantled system your predecessors put in place. Implement change. Seek peace. Make your country better for all."

MAN ARRESTED OUTSIDE CONGRESSIONAL HALL - WEAPONS FOUND IN VEHICLE

Two rifles and over 500 rounds of ammunition, explosives found in suspect's vehicle

TOFINO - Congressional Hall has been placed on lockdown and lawmakers have been ordered to stay in their offices after a man was been arrested outside the building with a loaded handgun, threatening officers and yelling insults towards specific politicians. Authorities searched the suspect's vehicle parked less than a block away and discovered two rifles and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Explosives were also found in the vehicle. It's unknown whether the man was attempting to attack Congressional Hall or anyone in particular, although the names of the politicians he called out in his tirade are currently being withheld from police and press debriefings.

On a normal Wednesday, Congressional Hall would be on recess. However, the ongoing debate surrounding tighter gun-control legislation in the wake of mass shootings has kept lawmakers in heated back and forths. Today's incident will almost certainly be used as an example for those who support tighter restrictions on firearm ownership.

The suspect has been identified and detained by police and is being held and awaiting formal charges, which will likely consist of trespassing and suspicion of malicious intent against federal employees and elected officials. The man was identified as 59-year old Marvin Fyerdeuc of Whistler Hill, Zian.

Speaker of the Chamber Natasha Chastain (GLP) thanked police officers and Congressional Hall security for their swift actions in detaining the suspect.

After beating Besmenia in their closest game yet (3-2), Zamastan faces the host nation Sulfia

SULIFA - An intense and far closer matchup than anticipated based off the previous un-matched rounds, Zamastan was able to squeak out a victory over the Besmenien national team on Monday in a 3-2 conclusion. Zamastan is now moving onto the quarter-finals, where they will face the host nation of Sulifa.

Monty Montero tied it for Zamastan with a penalty kick in the 61st minute and the Zamastanians held on for a 2-2 draw with the Besmenians night. The break came in the last two minutes with Isaiah Ross once again proving his worth to the team, scoring a rounder into the net to take a 3-2 lead.

Zamastan initially took a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute when Ben Sutter finished a counterattack with a narrow-angle finish into the upper corner.

Zamastan's goalkeeper Luis Runsa preserved the draw making a diving save on a breakaway attempt by Besmenia in the final minute of stoppage time.

KING ADRIAN II DIES

His majesty King Adrian Lindholm the Second has passed away. In a statement, Tõrnu Palace announced the monarch's passing.

It is with greatest sorrow and greatest sadness that we announce the passing of His Majesty King Adrian Lindholm the Second of Tõrnu, the Kingdom of Caspiaa, and the Principalities. His Majesty served the People of Caspiaa for 43 years, and he will be missed greatly.

King Adrian II was born and raised in the Royal Family, yet he was fully Caspiaan in heart and conduct. His love for country and love for the people of Caspiaa was par none, and he praised consistently the amazing country that he adored. Caspiaa adored him mutually, and King Adrian II took the Royal House of Tõrnu from purely elite to an accessible relative to the common Caspiaan. He showed such love when he married the Duchess Remy, a commoner. Their love was on display through their marriage and the birth of four children, the growth of their family, and Caspiaa's trying times.

With his passing comes mourning. We, the Royal Family and loving relatives of King Adrian II, appreciate, acknowledge, and recognize the outpouring of grief and support by the people of Caspiaa and the world. We are strong and united as a country, and we will prevail grief. We will forever remember His Majesty, King Adrian Lindholm II of Tõrnu.

King Adrian II had been admitted to a Viitaniemi Royal Forces hospital last week after suffering a heart attack. His wife, her highness the Duchess Remy of Kandona, stayed by the King's side the entire time. He had slipped into a coma following the heart attack and never became responsive.

Prime Minister Tullia Grönberg released a statement, sending condolences to her highness the Duchess Remy and ordering that all flags in Caspiaa and foreign Caspiaan installations be lowered to half mast. Caspiaa will be in a state of mourning for weeks with the monarch's passing.

"His majesty's passing leaves a deep hole in our national conduct today," Grönberg said. "We will miss him dearly. The world will miss him dearly."

With King Adrian II's passing, his eldest son Prince Oliver Lindholm will be crowned king. The Prince will be officially crowned at the conclusion of the King's funeral, as is customary in the event of the passing of a monarch.

The state funeral for King Adrian II will be held on Sunday, April 25th. World leaders are expected to travel to Viitaniemi to attend the funeral.

His majesty King Adrian Lindholm the Second has passed away. In a statement, Tõrnu Palace announced the monarch's passing.

The State Funeral will be held on Sunday, April 25th. World leaders are expected to travel to Viitaniemi to attend the funeral.

Jacque Boudreaux, the self-designated President of Cambria, has Issued a Message to International Powers.

"Good morning, afternoon, or evening to those reading this message. My name is Jacque Guy Boudreaux, and I am the Supreme President of the Republic of Cambria. We must've gotten your attention recently, since many of you have, well quite frankly, believed we here in Cambria are the bad guys in this situation. That is not the truth. For many years, we Cambrians have requested statehood, or even realmhood in Alecburgh. They have denied every single request, and even went onto say that we were better to stay part of the state of Luciano. We are culturally different. We speak a different dialect. We even celebrate different holidays than the Lucians.

Recently, there was a crisis in Alecburgh. It all began when a pitiful leader, Benjamin Warren, attacked islands the rightfully belonged to The Principality of Saint Croix and Bens. This led to a little girl to use some unlawful rules and oust Warren, who was in fact bad. This little girl, Diana, and no, I will not give her the name 'Queen' because she doesn't deserve to be one, took it upon herself to become our new leader.

This period of time, which we here in Cambria like to call, the Days of Dread, was dishonorable, and terrible for anyone that didn't live at the top. We had conflicts, pain, and absolute during this time. I watched, first-hand, as one of my neighbors perished during a riot against the government. That's when we head enough. That's when we decided to put the situation into our own hands, and the only way we knew how was to bring forth the exact same things that Alecburghish Government did to us. We attacked a small government outpost in Rory, a tiny sea village in southeastern Cambria near the Mandalayan border.
We did many of these little attacks across Cambria, including in Huron, Victoria, Rome, and Venice, before we finally did our attack on Aires.

Those deaths were unfortunate, but this was needed for the world stage to realize the mistreatment the Alecburghish Government did to us. We are ready for war, but we'd rather just have independence.

Do you want Diana, a girl who took one of the biggest countries in the southern hemisphere under her complete control, in charge? How about another girl named Sparrow Creed who was a musician without any political experience whatsoever?
Or, would you rather help us in Cambria set up a new government that completely removes the royal family, and instead brings forth a brand new government. A brand new Adula. A brand new CCA.

It's your choice. Thank you."

World Cup Dreams Dashed As Sulifa Falls To Zamastan in Quarter Finals

Playing host to the World Cup heightened the expectations of the Sulifa National Team, and productive showings and upsets against the Egilanak and De Yuan national teams put fans into a frenzy about the possibility of taking it all on their home turf.

However, Thursday's game against the Zamastan national team proved to be the tipping point. Despite a successful defense game that kept the two teams tied into the end, the penalty and extra kicks gave Zamastan a slight edge to win.

Captain Saamir Noorani scored Sulifa's only goal in the 43rd minute, giving them the lead. Zamastan's Isaiah Ross scored the tying goal.

This is Sulifa's best ever showing in the World Cup, making it only two rounds short of the championship game.

Sulifa won the bid to host out of 12 possible host cities.

The tournaments have so far been the most watched in the history of the World Cup.

Zamastan will face Jyau for the semi-finals and the bid for the championship.

Drambenburg 2(0) - (1)2 North Timeria

Congratulations to the teams advancing to the semi-finals! Sunday will be the first round of the Semifinals, in a showdown between Zamastan and Jyau - the GIANT versus the UNDERDOG. On Monday, we will see Durnstaal face off against North Timeria in the Battle of the Albarine!

Ladies and gentlemen.

About half an hour ago as of this posting, our region experienced a massive wave of self-described "raid preventers". It doesn't look like they caused any harm, so I won't be classifying this strange incident a raid; they only endorsed Zamastan and Emmiria, defending their current delegate standings. No harm done, but wanted everyone to be aware of the strange circumstances.

ESTOCA AND ZAMASTAN BEGIN NORMALIZING RELATIONS IN JYAU SUMMIT

Secretary of State Jessiah Vallotis speaks at the introduction of new talks held in Gutaai, Jyau between the Zamastanian and Estoca governments

TOFINO - The government of Estoca and the government of Zamastan are entering talks to mediate decades of diplomatic tensions between the two. With key diplomats meeting in a neutral environment at a exclusive conference in Gutaai, Jyau, Secretary of State Jessiah Vallotis announced that the Zamastan government would instantly install new diplomatic measures to ensure an Estoca presence at the embassy and consulate offices in Tofino.

"Our two nations are very different," Vallotis said in a bilateral press conference with Estoca's chief diplomat at the summit, Ambassador Ryetis Valien. "We have faith that through determination, devotion, and intent, we will grow closer to mending old wounds."

Secretary Vallotis acknowledged that the Estoca embassy and consulate offices in Tofino, which were closed in the 1970s amid raised tensions, are set to reopen at the end of May. The agreement comes as Estoca has opened numerous agreements with neighboring nations to normalize relations. The isolated and exclusive nation has a long and arduous history of standing alone diplomatically on the world stage, and critics of the Moreau administration's willingness to open talks say that the Estoca government is an oppressive and authoritarian one.

Part of the agreement in the talks to normalize relations ensures that Zamastan acknowledge Parabocan war crimes against the Estocan people in a conflict over a century ago, and that the Zamastanians encourage the Parabocan government to do the same. In the meantime, Estoca must also acknowledge any crimes they committed in the wars over sovereignty. Estoca is also set to lift restrictions on Zamastanian trade as Zamastan lifts their own tariffs.

Zamastan's government, as part of the acknowledgement for war crimes committed by Paraboca, will invest in a compensation fund for descendants of victims. The deal is being critiqued by many, who say Zamastan is giving up too much in a agreement that won't be beneficial in the long run.

"Zamastan didn't commit these crimes," said Congresswoman Harriet Banersford (BCP), "so we are not accountable to pay up. That's on the Parabocans, sure, but not us."

Supporters of the deal, however, point to a considerable concession that Estoca will have to give in retribution. Secretary Vallotis highlighted in the bilateral press conference that Estoca will be held to a standard of stepping down their own military buildup, which has recently worried military analysts.

"Estoca must not build up a standing army if they are truly seeking peace. We are bending when we clearly didn't have to, and we're doing so out of good will and a genuine concern for the world as a whole. Estoca cannot continue to strong arm in the process, or they will lose their desired agreements. Ambassador Valien understands this, and I'm sure the Estocan government does too."

PRESIDENT MOREAU ATTENDS FUNERAL OF KING ADRIAN LINDHOLM

President Atticus Moreau is in Viitaniemi for the State Funeral of the late Monarch of Caspiaa

VIITANIEMI - President Moreau attended the state funeral for the late King Adrian II of Caspiaa on Saturday, marking the first visit to the archipeligo nation for the President and his first state funeral abroad. Moreau paid respects at the Viitaniemi National Cathedral, where Adrian II is lying in state. The late king's son, Prince Oliver, is the heir presumptive, and met with Moreau during the ceremony.

"King Adrian was a significant leader, and I had the utmost respect for him," Moreau said to the press. "His majesty was a kind and generous man, and he was revered not only by the people of Caspiaa, but the people of the world. We have lost a true statesman and a true human being."

Adrian Lindholm the Second of Tõrnu passed away on Wednesday. He was the monarch of Caspiaa for 43 years. His wife, the Duchess Remy, also met with Moreau. Moreau continued to speak on his respect for the late monarch.

"I never had the opportunity to meet His Majesty," he said. "I always wished to, and I regret not coming to Caspiaa sooner to do so. I do remember witnessing His Majesty's arrival in Tofino in 1992. I watched his visit on the television, shaking hands with President Cassious Castovia. He was gleeming, just a fascinating figure. I am truly at a loss for words. It's not often that our world loses such a giant of respect."

Zamastan's national team is moving onto the semi-finals after beating the host nation in the World Cup

SULIFA - World Cup championship hopes are still alive as Zamastan beat the host nation of Sulifa in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. With a record setting scoring tournament for the Zamastanians thus far, Sulifa presented their toughest challenge yet, in a back and forth 1-1 tied game that went into a shootout, with Zamastan barely taking the win.

The heated match was the most watched World Cup game to date for Zamastanian audiences, who have clenched onto the furver of the event. Zamastan will face off against Jyau in the semi-finals, where they hope to advance to the championship to face either North Timeria or Durnstaal.

Sulifa's national team captain Saamir Noorani scored Sulifa's only goal in the 43rd minute, giving them the lead. Zamastan's Isaiah Ross scored the tying goal, and in overtime scored the penalty kick that gave Zamastan the win. The closeness of this battle has many worried, with bets for the semifinals significantly less-so in Zamastan's favor than it has previously been through the tournament so far. This was Sulifa's best ever showing in the World Cup, making it only two rounds short of the championship game.

Destroyer Arrives in Beresa, S.C.B., Amid Alecburgh Crisis
BERESA - As Alecburgh's government prepares for a significant incursion into the self-declared republic of Cambria, Emmiria reinforced its WEDA Allies in Saint Croix and Bens by sending the destroyer ENWS Makhat to join the Zamastanian and Albarinean forces already present. The Makhat docked at Beresa Naval Base in the port city of Beresa in southern S.C.B. alongside the Zamastanian ZMS Guild and ZMS Shorthand and the Albarinean vessel ANV Auerbach. Additionally, 100 Emmirian troops landed at the base, increasing total WEDA forces present at around 900.

Sulifa - Drambenburg clinched a victory from Emmiria in a close 1-0 defeat that left Emmiria's World Cup hopes in the dust. After defeating Qolaysia in the Group of 32, it had hoped to advance into the quarter-finals. However, intense defensive and offensive drives by Drambenburg in the much anticipated Group of 16 battle left Emmiria scrambling, and they were unable to answer Drambenburg's only goal for the entirety of the game.

Destroyer Arrives in Beresa, S.C.B., Amid Alecburgh Crisis
As Alecburgh's Government Prepares for Civil War, Emmiria Reinforces WEDA Allies

BERESA - As Alecburgh's government prepares for a significant incursion into the self-declared republic of Cambria, Emmiria reinforced its WEDA Allies in Saint Croix and Bens by sending the destroyer ENWS Makhat to join the Zamastanian and [nation][nation]Albarine[/nation][/nation]an forces already present.

President Sulaiman has reinforced the S.C.B. government under President William Urskabau with the rapidly advancing tensions as Alecburgh's civil conflict turns to the worst. Following a string of terror attacks across the city of Aires in Alecburgh, Prime Minister Sparrow Creed has deployed forces to quash resistance from separatist forces. Sulaiman reportedly called the Prime Minister to urge her to stand down, but such efforts went unanswered.

Foreign Minister Naadir al-Shaikh is in Saint Elmenau, the S.C.B. capital, to discuss greater cooperation between Emmiria, S.C.B., and the WEDA organization. There are rumors swirling that talks are in the works to establish S.C.B. as a new WEDA member state, since Sulifa and Andaluni were recently included into the organization. The expanse of the organization is expected, as S.C.B. stands diplomatically isolated in its corner of the South Adula sub continent. The Trans Toyana Prosper Alliance and Southeastern International Adula Association are increasing in their militarization in the region, and foreign interference from Drambenburg and Beleroskov has resulted in S.C.B. turning to Zamastan, Albarine, and Emmiria for more direct relations.

Pavlov backs Estoca, questions Emmirian motives

April 24 2021

Osipovgrad- Vozhd Matvei Pavlov released an official statement in support of the Estocan government, Estoca has been in a precarious diplomatic position for well over a decade due to its role in the Parabocan diplomatic crisis of the 20th century.

Though relations between Zamastan and Esotca were recently stabilized, with the Estocan embassy being reopened, though they are still under pressure for their military buildup, which was criticized by Emmirian president Akram Sulaiman who said “While we appreciate seeing the Estoca government seek betterment in international diplomacy, it is completely counter-productive to conduct such intense military buildups. Why flex their military if they are seeking peace? It makes no sense. We encourage the Estoca government to stand down and relinquish their nonsensical military buildup”'. Pavlov dismissed such criticisms of the Union’s close ally, stating “Estoca is simply doing what they must to preserve their sovereignty, their military build up is simply a precaution, it is clear that Emmiria had other plans for Estoca than it’s current track.”

Such attacks against Emmiria are questionable considering the recent diplomatic crisis with Khaliq Nasr, but Pavlov refused to back down when asked by reporters on it, Pavlov also issued his support for Zamastanian reparations, saying “While it is true that Zamastan didn’t commit the Parabocan crimes they did put baseless sanctions on Estoca, heavily damaging it’s economy. Zamastan must make up for that lost economic growth”

BAN PLACED ON COMMERCIAL TUNA FISHING

Congress passed a sweeping ban on commercial tuna fishing

TOFINO - New measures passed by Congressional Hall on Sunday set in place a ban on commercial fishing for bluefin tuna. The new ban, which are partly in response to corporate bluefin tuna catch share programs in reducing bycatch, introduce strict no-catch limits on tuna, strict fines on tuna bycatch, introduce five zones of non-fishing regulation in the Toyana and Olympic Oceans, adjust management measures for two other areas, and change pelagic longline gear requirement in Horseshoe Bay.

The new regulations come as environmental and marine study organizations, as well as the Zamastan Marine Science Observation, released reports detailing the drastic worldwide decrease in marine biodiversity. A significant portion showed severe decreases in the bluefin tuna population, especially in regards to deepsea trawling and net fishing. According to ZMSO, the bluefin tuna population has dropped to 4% of its level from 1970.

The changes in regulation give fishermen using pelagic longlines access to new fishing areas originally closed to reduce the number of bluefin caught unintentionally. Under the new rules, longline fishermen in Zamastanian territorial fishing areas are also required to use weak hooks from January through June rather than year-round. This includes the time when bluefin tuna are abundant during spawning.

Regardless of where or when they fish, longline fishermen are still not allowed to target bluefin tuna. They can keep some caught unintentionally, but they have to stay within their individual allocation of the Zamastan bluefin quota. This allows them to fish for economically valuable species like swordfish and other tunas while protecting bluefin.

The measures are in part a response to the success of the Individual Bluefin Quota (IBQ) Program in reducing bluefin bycatch. Congressional Hall also designed the measures to help reverse a trend of underharvesting the Zamastan swordfish quota.

“The success of the IBQ Program has allowed us to simplify and streamline fishing management,” said Martin Onkinship, who leads the group responsible for managing bluefin in Zamastan. “With this rule, we are optimizing fishing opportunities for pelagic longline fishermen while continuing to manage and conserve bluefin tuna through the IBQ program and other management measures.”

Corporate fishing was at one point Zamastan's most profitable industry, but has been overshadowed in the last half century as seafood is shifting out of popularity not only domestically, but internationally. Still, corporations that profit in big-fish fishing, such as Unitrawl, have come out against Congressional Hall's decision, stating that they stand to lose major profits which will in turn hurt the Zamastanian economy.

Zamastan's showing in the World Cup is proven as Whitecaps move to the championship

CUBAI - Zamastan's national team clinched yet another win in their World Cup bid, beating Jyau in the Semi-Finals to advance to the championship. In a thrilling 2-1 game, Isaiah Ross, the Whitecaps continuous top scorer and rising star, scored both goals for the Zamastanians.

Last year in Heimdal'ia, Zamastan's national team placed third in a match up with Tinten. They won their sixth and last World Cup in 2019, and are clearly amping up for another victory in Sulifa.

"Seven, here we come," forward striker Quaid Urto celebrated as the team ran off the field following the victory.

Isaiah Ross scored in the 84th minute to help the Whitecaps end their non-scoring streak in the long tie.

Russell Veiben chased down Ali Sanwar's pass and crossed it through the goalkeeper's legs to Ross, who smashed it home from close range.

Zamastan will face either Durnstaal or North Timeria in the finals. The Durnstaal-v-Timeria game will be held on Monday, 4/26.

The ZMS Artego arrived at Beresa Naval Station, Beresa, Saint Croix and Bens

BERESA - The Zamastanian navy destroyer ZMS Artego has joined the contingent of nearly 1,200 WEDA forces who are stationed in the Beresa Naval Station in Saint Croix and Bens. The forces are in the region amid rapidly growing concerns about intensified Alecburgh military operations. The ZMS Guild and ZMS Shorthand, docked in Beresa alongside the Albarinean vessel ANV Auerbach and the Emmirian vessel ENVS Makhat, are part of a newly signed defense agreement between the WEDA powers and S.C.B.'s government under President William Urskabau.

President Moreau spoke to President Urskabau of S.C.B. on Wednesday, along with Albarine Chancellor Sadie Melhaven, as the two conducted a bilateral conference in Beresa.

"I gave President Urskabau ensurance that Zamastan stands by the people of Saint Croix and Bens in their defense and preservation of their sovereignty." Moreau went on to say "they have been threatened before, and we saw the response of the international community. It's evident that they want preservation and not conflict."

Moreau also reached out to Prime Minister Sparrow Creed of Alecburgh, advising herto practice restraint.

"The Prime Minister promised to bring change to his nation following months of turmoil and political strife, but so far she has brought the same agenda of violent response to violent action. There has not been nor ever has been indication of diplomacy in the conduct of Alecburghian leadrs. Prime Minister Creed, do not continue the mantled system your predecessors put in place. Implement change. Seek peace. Make your country better for all."

Tuna Fishing Explodes Overnight in Drambenburg

Made me laugh way more than it should have. Zam being environmentally responsible and Dram stealing the fish anyways 😂
I will be writing an article soon - probably about the WEDA naval support in Beresa.

Prime Minister, Sparrow Creed, Sends Last Hope Communication to Boudreaux, Leader of the Separatist Region of Cambria.

In a last bid for peace and negotiations, Sparrow Creed, Alecburgh's recently elected Prime Minister, has sent a communication to Jacque Boudreaux, the leader of the Republic of Cambria, a separatist region that declared its independence last week.

Creed, who has, like earlier mentioned, only been in power for about a month, wants to separate herself from former PM Benjamin Warren. Warren is best known for his backstabbing order for the Alecburghish Military to illegally, and unlawfully take control, and possibly even annex three small islands that belonged to Saint Croix and Bens.

"I don't want to be like Warren, and I haven't done anything to deserve the comparison Sir Moreau of Zamastan. Not only this, but sending troops and ships over, but not helping us in our struggle is a very rude move. It's shameful quite honestly. We request that you help us, to deliver a quick and fast defeat to Boudreaux and Cambria if my last bid for peace is ignored. Thank you."

Eighteen Cambrian 'soldiers', which were nothing more than men with guns and small Cambrian flag patches, were arrested in Luciano yesterday. Fifteen of them are currently in custody, while one was sent to the Port Croix Dislipinary Center, and one committed suicide using a concealed knife. One was trying to commit suicide with the same knife but was taken to the hospital.

This is all right now, we will update more when it is available.
