What's unforgivable is the same clowns were given the keys to star wars.

Such a wonderful car to wreck though. I haven't really watched the newer stuff because I've heard it isn't that great.

Also as much as I am a huge Star Wars fan I'll say I like Star Trek more.

Probably has to do with the fact that I never watched the new Star Trek stuff but I did watch the new Star Wars stuff and it just wasn't as good as the older Star Wars. Then again I do have a bias for older stuff since while the rest of my generation was watching whatever on their youtube, netflix and instagram/facebook I was watching the good old stuff and fiddling with an antenna for a tv and radio. I still don't have social media unless you consider this social media (fair enough I do chat a bit on here don't I?).

Technically people my age are usually the generation after me. Even my generation doesn't fit when I was born!

But yeah. While everyone was chatting about instagram and facebook and the new iphone I was watching dvd's, VHS tapes, and local tv. I'm kinda biased for older stuff. Just how I am.

Still I found the new Star Wars to be not anywhere near the bar that the old Star Wars raised.

Also probably the fact that the Next Generation had some philosophical stuff which makes you think. Next Generation is my favourite series out of all the Star Trek series.

Actually more I think about it now I mostly either listen to the radio or listen to Youtube like you would a radio. I don't watch much tv anymore.

Another issue will appear about the AI Planning with the AI ITSELF SAYING THAT IT'S NOT EFFICIENT, and capitalism will return fullstyle with a boom, the technological advancement that was raised with the AI planning choice will low but not under the pre AI-socialist economy level.

A machine capable of managing ALL resources predicting scarcity and production is the socialist sci-fi dream for economy, on GURPS, Steamtech, a machine like that is an idea they put into RPG as some sort of analytical machine made by a marxist economicist.

The worst part is that they politicize EVERYTHING, like I just want an escapism, everybody needs one.

About Star Wars, The Last Jedi was so feminist and bad written that they put J.J. Abrams in charge of Rise of the Skywalkers, ressurecting Palpatine, putting every Skywalker as a Darth Sidious lab project since the beggining. Ironically J. J. Abrams was the director of Star Trek movies too (what to me ended the Jedi vs. Trekker long war with the total defeat of both sides for it.)

All the tale of the Jedi phophecy, the Anakin Skywalker redemption on Return of the Jedi was ignored, in fact all Darth Vader became worthless, I saw a lot of fanatical people that were extreme fans of star wars just saw all those collector things and considering it junk.

And I remember that people became outraged by "midichlorians" on The Phantom Menace.

Well, at least we still have Star Wars Legacy, the once called "expanded universe" with the New Republic, a New Jedi Order, Master Luke Skywalker married with an ex-Sith and Leia Organa as the elected leader of the senate and other jedi like Kyle Katarn continuing to defend the New Republic against Imperial Remnants, the Sith and other sort of enemies elsewhere.

I was a fan of Star Wars when I was a teenager to the point of suffering bullying for it, the same for liking Spider Man and Marvel, just to see all these series dumbing down to be watched now by the same st*pid people who punch me because of this, and worst, saying they "always loved it". I remember being punched with people saying that to like Star Wars is "thing of fat people".

I thought they would became poor for don't studying, that I will become rich, well, they became rich and I am just a low middle-class, but ok, this world is ruled by the Devil so I must expect to evil always prevail.

Most series or films became political because to the Academic elite who rule the media and studios, everything is politics, even on microcosmic aspect, this is in fact a cultural totalitarianism, when all aspects of society and the individual must be always linked with a political agenda.

Well let's be honest here, Star Trek was ALWAYS progressive, the UFP is a multicultural diversified democracy that became a superpower dealing with mostly isolationist empires or traditional societies, it is an atheist universe despite the UFP having religious tolerance, on Deep Space Nine they give the other side of the coin and the other every non-UFP species mocked the Federation for it's moralism, hypocrisy and naivete, ironically exactly what I say about Western Civilization today. When a ferengi, a political neutral libertarian capitalist to the extreme civilization citizen mocked Sisko for the Erath having history of genocide and they don't because it don't give any profit, that was one of the best moments of the series, when the Romulans (or Klingons?) mocked how the Federation is "sweet" while drinking a harmless modified alcohol with no side effects made by the Federation, my God, the Romulans and Klingons get a point that episode.

Even the Borg Collective have it's moments, with the exception of individuality they are exactly everything that UFP aim, arguing that UFP would need to be like them to survive or there will be dissenters.

The Left remembers the Federation, and the Block League Masters look like the Borg Collective but with the Klingon capacity of violence, the Social Media is their borg cubes, and the media, and sadly it includes Star Wars and Star Trek, is just borg nanoprobes trying to assimilate us, the assimilation now happen since childhood on schools (I was a communist until 14!) and the mass assimilation centers of course are the University, the Academia is Unimatrix Zero, and they are invincible today.

As bordering Zeemer Millennial, I can say that the word "tradition" is most of the minds of Millennials and Z is seen as opposed to the what we love so much too.

Technology.

This was a mistake and part of us Millennial and Zeemers already perceived it:

We thought that technology would always make life better.

And this leads to: Tradition is an old thing, we must destroy everything and build a new world.

We got our Brave New World, enslaved by smartphones since teenagers or childhood.

And culturally it leads to progressivism, as it was sold as the "way to the future, that will let us free and equal."

We don't became free, we don't became equal, we became anxious depressed people without real friends, with "liquid" relationships and that in most cases became desperate, to the point of people crying because don't received more than 50 likes on a photo, eager for external validation.

On the Church there is two problems:

1- We live on a "libido dominandi" society, almost everything is about power, money and sex. To be a priest, on most rites of the Catholic Church, you need to abandon these three things, the problem is that most of us were show to porn, some to the point of addiction since childhood, sex outside marriage is considered ridiculous by today standards, in fact even monogamous sex is considered ridiculous. This will obviously lead to a total lack of priest.

2 - Most priests on the Catholic Church are elders, and this enhance what Millennial-Z Generations think about it, it's an old, middle ages, without technology (so, a nightmare) outdated Institution that for example say that there is only two genders and opposes gay marriage (to most of us, not me, this is an extreme outrage, a "fascism"), our generation don't ever lived on a Christian Culture, our culture was made by fashion, by the meme of the moment, we must show more of an intellectual church to smart people and a charismatic one to the rest, we must not show only love but intelligence, we have a lot of philosophers and saints with things to say, but most of our generation don't ever read them because the educational system mostly censor it or because it was said in a dumb way by a boomer, that now claims ageism but until the Z's got the "Ok Boomer" card, was always making joke about how loser we are compared to them.

I have a problem with Boomers, Ok Boomer it is not about conservatism, it is because Boomers invented the smartphone, I will never forgive them for it!

Dude I already knew that band was Sabaton just from how you described it! Amazing stuff. Weird enough it was the last stand and also listening to an actual crusader song about St. Louis IX that made me finally decide to study the faith (well it's more like a desire for truth and for finding the purpose of life, these songs were just the trigger to finally get me to get off my lazy behind and start studying the faith.)

Funny enough the Last Stand is about the Swiss Guard but all of youtube seems to think it's about the Crusades.

"Then the 189
In the service of heaven
They're protecting the holy line
It was 1527
Gave their lives on the steps to heaven
Thy will be done!

For the grace, for the might of our lord
For the home of the holy
For the faith, for the way of the sword
Gave their lives so boldly

For the grace, for the might of our lord
In the name of his glory
For the faith, for the way of the sword
Come and tell their story again"

I don't usually listen to heavy metal rock but Sabaton will always be one of my favourite bands.

Honestly I can somewhat see the argument of our generation (me being a Millennial born growing up with a mix of gen Z and Millennials being born at that same time) being a tad bit too extreme. Some people fly off the handle and reject the Pope and other stuff because of abuses. We should call out when bad stuff happens, yes, but not reject the Church.

At the same time we need to show the world, as you very well put it, the intelligence and love of the Church. I'd add that we need to show the world our piety for God and the beauty of God and His Church. We need to show people that life isn't just aimlessly going about doing nothing. I think this is why stoicism (which does have flaws as much as I like it) is becoming more popular. That is to say that stoicism encourages taking action and enduring life's suffering.

Overall I think hedonism, the belief that as long as we are materially provided for and that we are comfortable that we will be content with our lives and that living such a life is good, is one of the greatest evils of our time. Then again maybe I have that sentiment because of my specific sins

I am disgusted by my sin and hate it very much not because I'm some sort of oppressed man who hates himself but because I love the sacred gift of sexuality God has given all of us. When you love something you want to protect it. Why must acts so vile have pleasure mixed in. Why must acts so vile even exist. Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. Why do I occasionally fall for the temptation to do it? I'd say addiction though apparently even though gambling is an addiction it's controversial to say that porn is an addiction...honestly if it's not an addiction I am the most weak willed person in the history of humanity (I'm a wimp but not that much of a wimp) because I am literally disgusted to the point of wanting to vomit, which I'm only half exaggerating because sometimes I actually want to vomit, when I think of porn and masturbation...and even when I do said sins I'm just immediately sad because I know I've betrayed Jesus. It's 3 seconds of pleasure and a living hell (being separated from God...seems like the world "living hell" is accurate here) until I go to Confession and repent.
but then again I am a child of my era. As old fashioned, technologically speaking as well as I guess I did spend more time with older folk as a child than the average child, as I am, I still would say I've been screwed over by the collective struggle this generation has.

Compared to my parents I live a very privileged and spoiled life. As far as I'm aware this is essentially Gen Z and Millennials in a nut shell. If people want to say Boomers were privileged then idk what Gen Z and Millennials are. This obsession we have with always being comfortable has messed us up. It's our very privilege that messed us up. The humble shall be exalted not the people who treat themselves as "gods."

There was a lot of snobbery t'wards the Phantom Menace from the older audience who wanted a film geared exclusively for them rather than kids.
I thought is was the best of the bunch; it had something for everyone.
Sadly the reaction was so bad the creators lost control and it was bludgeoned by other interests from that point.

Yes, and the battle was against german protestants not muslims, the Swiss Guard saved the Pope by making a escort to a defensible castle while the Holy Line buy time for the mission standing ground and defending the perimeter against the german cavalry.

That was epic.

Forgive me brothers for I have committed many sins, please pray that I overcome my pride, sloth and wrath as I even here have sinned in those regards.

Also remember that the mission we have is to love the Lord our God Jesus Christ with all our hearts and to love our next as we love ourselves. Through that we must feed the hungry, clothe the poor, take care of the homeless, visit prisoners and the sick. We must also follow the laws of our Lord and make those laws clear to those who don't know. Lastly we must spread the message of the Kingdom and how it is near.
Through prayer you can do anything as long as you believe. God is merciful so if you repent and ask forgiveness in truth he will give it to you.

So I finally accepted to play Free Fire, I'm not so much into FPS, but well it runs on a common smartphone, oh a lot of expensive things to become addicted and rank, a dog eats dog game, despite there is a team option. Well nothing may me worse than CSGO...

WRONG.

Ok, so I was on a stupid plane I choose when I drop and ready, well, I've seen it on a simple Steam Game, no soundtrack, and I choose no sound. I remember the logic, you are dropped into a random part of an island where you collect random weapons, defense clothes and medkits. I go solo, probably I will not last 5 minutes into this thing.

Oh the movements, three position and oh I get a Rifle and a Pistol on a house.

So I saw the player psychology, just shoot everything that appears, and look scary, the male players look like Gangsta and The Joker and the female players look like Harley Quinn, e-girl or otaku killer, well everybody here thinks that is a psychopath and is going into full killer spree to rank.

Where is the soundtrack? Damn it.

Well, a otaku girl appeared shooting me, just shot her, she don't moved, after this I player 3 characters.

Oh the area will diminish... ok... people are killing each other a lot and I am somewhat lost here, like the Deus Ex Player that is asking why this game got to have less script than CSGO. Ok, the dogs are killing each other, they have psycho names too, all to look scary and evil.

Oh, look, a car...

Oh... look I can enter it...

I can pilot it.

Ok, let's go GTA style.

So I saw a player on the middle of the road on an open field, he begun to shoot me, and I have no option to shot from the car.

He used a prisioner skin and shot with a shotgun without harming so much, so I don't know the game mechanics. And I make a GTA Style decision to fight the creepy criminal shooting on the middle of the road on my front.

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO DIE! RAM THE CAR! (Klingon battle war theme here please).

well... I killed the character and the car don't even received a damage for it... so I saw a psycho girl style and just decided to ram into her too... she saw me and begun to run... too late... killed.

And it happens to Everybody... like... there was houses that were somewhat invincible to protect the player and even guard towers, but no... everybody shooting the car and on each other, the smartest people made something intelligent, they really begun to run shooting when I was coming, sadly the car is far faster than them.

So a noob that is not so much into FPS on it's first play winned the game, they made offers of items for money and I don't accepted, everybody there is very expensive, and I thought Steam was unfair with DLC content.

Well a graphic appeared with my "tactics" on max... despite the fact I almost had no combat at all, my supreme strategy was just ramming the car against every single player that appeared while I was driving, really smart, even the guy with an apparently anti-car rocket launcher weapon can't stand against it. Well I honored my hundred hours on FPS like Deus Ex, Battlefield and Halo and my Civilization, Heroes of Might and Magic, Age of Empires, Command & Conquer, Stellaris and Total War and other turn based or RTS played hours of game.

I just expected something less... psychopathic... and I completed all Postal games, and even Postal series have a story or at least an excuse to being a jerk behind, it is not needed, all of them where just dog eats dog, shooting each other, really looking creepy, but without capacity of for example don't staying on a road with car going to kill you.

GTA looks like Final Fantasy game written by Tolkien in comparison to Free Fire.

And people pay for it, for graphics, for advantages and creepy characters, CSGO like style but at least on CSGO there is some atmosphere, on this game people kill, kill and kill for rank, and nothing more.

I play a Far Cry series game on Steam among others and I don't need to pay more, even if I ever wanted to change the graphics it's just install a mod, not that hard, if I go play The Elder Scrolls or Fallout series the game producers even offer it for free for the player.

And Nation States is free, and in fact you only lose your country if you make things considered hate speech like criticizing the Baseball League Ministers, the Letter Game Broad Trainers or anything that Soccer Jester Wanderers like.

Even among smartphone games, there is a lot of better games, on strategy and even a casual FPS thing, I really don't understand the success of Free Fire, it is limited to the extreme.

Well, overall the game is stupid, it really looked like my society, dog eats dog, and no intelligence at all.

Prudentias wrote:So I finally accepted to play Free Fire, I'm not so much into FPS, but well it runs on a common smartphone, oh a lot of expensive things to become addicted and rank, a dog eats dog game, despite there is a team option. Well nothing may me worse than CSGO...

I'm praying for the leader of Fredgast and Sundiata as asked.

I would like to, if I'm not being boring as I usually am, to pray for me, because I have a heavy depression, I had not read a book, not watched a series, only played a bit of games for less than one hour in less than one week, my girlfriend is draining me because she have borderline and dependent personality disorders diagnosed by psychologists, and she lives 2 cities far from me, it would take 1 hour to reach there normally but in the pandemics she became negligent and refuse to use the mask, wanting to take the disease once and for all because she's feeling alone.

Other man more rich than me is trying to buy to her imported things from Austria, Germany, Turkey, South Korea, Russia and other countries, basically, they are trying to destroy my relationship, because it's a Devil taken dog eats dog world.

The only game I'm having mental power to care about is Nation States because well it is basically make 5 decisions a day doing choices, it is an intelligent game. I had a country before but I made a hate speech and it was obliterated and the Soccer Jammer Wanderers don't had any mercy upon me, I dedicated more than 5 years on that country and was Top 1% on a LOT of things.

And now I am trying to do a better country than it was, I was top 1% on corruption and Black Market too. Prudentias was the name of new nation exactly for the case of a mental breakdown I don't end on a hate rage and being judge by The Left Inquisition that never forgive and never forgot anybody, specially if it's a right-wing conservative Christian nation, or in my case, a corrupt empire just trying.

Well, whatever, please pray for me, thank you.

The only purpose of a relationship is to grow as a virtuous man, and help a woman grow as a virtuous woman, with sights upon marriage where a family is build before God. If none of these things are present in this relationship, why are you pursuing it?

Take it from another person with severe depression: as annoying as it is when people tell you "just get up and do things", this is the one and only way out of the fog. Having friends is fundamental, as is not getting involved with people who are also mentally ill and will only bring you further down.

Edit: If you're looking for something for leisure that doesn't require too much energy input but is still constructive, I suggest watching The Chosen. It's a series that is available on YouTube. The episodes are just 30-40 min (the videos are longer because there's commentary before and after them).
