Would it be good if I added a support vehicle platoon to each tank company? They'd be made up of 2 SPAAGs and 1 SP SAM system, or 2 SPAAGs and 1 Assault Gun or TOS-1 napalm mlrs fuk-you vehicles

I'm ditching the SPAA-at-coy-level for four SPAA sections at battalion level. It'll be up to the battalion commander as to how he'll distribute those assets.

As for the napalm-mlrs-fuk-yous, I'm putting them in with the Artillery Brigade to make it a division asset, to be used when massive breakthrough at one point is needed.

Lastly, what's the squared rule of combat? :3

Do you not think that they could be kept at battalion level, and then the division level commander could potentially reassign them into one bloc at his discretion? (tbf I think they're better at the battalion level than the company level)

This:

Two vehicles are not 2x better than one. Instead their potency is actually squared. Not only do they have double the amount of firepower of one, but you also have to kill it twice over. And all this while under fire, and the fact you'll be giving away your position when you kill the first one.

Having just one SAM, or MLRs is not especially problematic, because you only have to kill that one, and then the AA or missile artillery ceases. But have two... and suddenly it becomes exponentially harder

My AA vehicles come in sections of twos, while the Thermobaric MLRS comes in batteries of 4 launchers and 4 loader vehicles.

AA Sections are at battalion level, to be attached anywhere the battalion commander sees fit.

The Thermobaric MLRS is at division level, for use when we wanna smash through the enemy line with a storm of fire.

Aircraft can and will strike everywhere, as can artillery, and some of the first things they will be taking are your AA and artillery. If your one SAAm vehicle is taken out before it can respond, then there's problems. Having more would give the others a chance to strike back (in theory).
