As the 95X approaches, you realize the only other route serving the stop is the 666, a bus replacement to Parlimentary Train Service that serves the destination via Rushmore, Esportiva, and Equatoria, arriving hours later. The 95X is the direct route.

So you board the 95X.

OK, seriously, thanks for the votes everyone. Expect an everything thread by the end of the week. Finally there's one spot open for the taking; at that point we'll have 24 participating nations and I'll close signups.

We all know I hate to double-post, but the AOCAF Everything Thread is open for your rosters and RPs:

We're now waiting for the new regional ranks so the Group Draw can be conducted. MD 1 will be two calendar days after the Group Draw, and no earlier than Monday the 19th.

I wag my finger at your double poster!

*ignores fact that Nellietopia has repeatedly double-posted when it was convenient*

Hiya, Atlantian Oceania, I like the cut of your jib so I've moved here. I realise I've missed the start of your local competition but hopefully I can contribute for the next one as I reckon combining my two loves of football and writing should lead to some fun times for all!

I hate sand, it's coarse and irritating.

Cosumar and The drawkian mobile fleet

You might want to skip my RPs then if coarse and irritating aren't your thing.

As long as it doesn't get everywhere

Cosumar and The drawkian mobile fleet

Seems unlikely.

Welcome, and yes this is the place for both! Three other suggestions in the meantime if you haven't already done so are to consider signing up for the next NS World Cup, trying a scorinator (either xkoranate or NSFS), and trying your own domestic league to enter UICA competitions.
You may have also noticed we're a bit more relaxed than some of the other regions on NS. Hope you enjoy your time here, some of us have been here for over an RL decade.

theoretically, you could still RP some of the backstory to set yourself up for the next competition.

Congratulations for actually making me facepalm.

In honor of Christmas, new poll damn it! vote vote ^&^

Thanks, 95X and Vilita and Turori, that's what my friendly request was for - to give me something to write about and set up the back story prior to the baptism of fire starting. Fortunately I now have a bite there so will look forward to a character-building pasting.

I'm also going to fiddle around with one of the score generators and maybe build up a league over christmas.

Happy Holidays, Atlantian Oceania!

Seconded. Have a wonderful time doing the things you love most with the people you hold close!

Welp, through my main nation, it seems I've been on NS for 2 years now. Either I legitimately like this country madness or I'm just incredibly antisocial IRL.

How about a little of both? Nothing wrong with either imho.

shhhh! you're going to start the old geezers trying count how long they've been here, some of them counting so long that they'll turn to dust before they finish!

Hi, seasons greetings and all that. Odd request, but I have a small but significant character who is going to fancy himself as something of an ageing football hipster, so I need a footballer for him to have named himself after. Someone a little cult, perhaps, and I figured it would make more sense for it to be from a nation in the region. Given that this is our debut on the scene as it were. Like someone from inner-city Beijing calling themselves Beckham Li, or something. The character in question isn't nice, in case that makes a difference.

*rolls eyes* I've been on NS for almost 7 years, the fastest way to let time pass is to log on once every week to make sure no one important has CTE.

You almost definitely want to name them after an Audioslavian or a Starblaydi then ;)

Vilita and turori and Mriin

There are only several from the Di Bradini family who fit that description :p

Well, you did use Beckham as an example, so I'd say go with Simeone Di Bradini.

Thanks!

We have a new AOCAF Champion!
