We are supporting their goal to unify all of Cashinamasia under one united government of the Cashinamasian people.

May I ask why do you care about me?

East Cashinamasian wrote:May I ask why do you care about me?

Verwis wanted our help in unifying you. We didn't do it before because it was too risky and you were too closely associated with Haivon. Now that another galactic power is doing it, we don't mind supporting them because it's less risky and also just a better time for it in general. They also promised to help us in one future defensive war in exchange for supporting their effort to unify Cashinamasia.

He had already packed up his items from his desk, which wasn't much besides a few mementos from his time in training camp. He'd lock the door behind him as he wandered out into a cold wind, coming from the north of the mainland. Ganymedes wasn't a minister for long, but he did enjoy the work, as he felt like he was actually helping his people.

Now he was dismissed from his duties, for disagreeing with his leader. The throne once allowed for such disagreements, so much has changed since the days of the First Emperor. He wasn't alive during the first Augusta's rule, but the Imperial history books have the complete life of the former ruler.

"General Ganymedes Sommers."

The General's thoughts were disrupted, he'd look up and see a full team of Imperial ROUTERs standing in front of him. Their dark grey armor blocking out any type of light, as their neon green goggles glowed, almost peering into his darkest thoughts.

"Yes?"

"Follow us."

The six large soldiers aligned themselves around the former Minister, before they began to escort him into a nearby building. Their ranks wouldn't shift nor waver, the soldiers' movements smooth and controlled. The ROUTERs are the Empire's special forces taking orders from only a select few individuals, including the Empress. He did ponder what the Empress would do with him, for such direct disobedience. He now assumes his punishment will be a quiet 'trip' to a foreign country.

The group would walk for a short while, twisting and turning around different corridors. The unit would stop just outside of a single door, which has no symbols or signs to incline what lies beyond its frame.

"Enter," one of the ROUTERs stated, to which the General complied. He'd push open the door and enter, the door softly closing behind him. Sealing him inside whatever lies in the room.

His eyes would land upon an individual seated at the head of a large conference table. It was a woman wearing a dark burgundy officer's uniform. Her light blue eyes reflecting the lights of the conference room, her reddish-brown hair resting on her shoulders. A friendly smile played on her lips as he entered.

Upon recognizing the woman, his military boots would snap together, and his fist would pound against his chest.
"High Kommandier General," he would have bowed, but this was a military matter, not the Empress's court.

"Minister Ganymedes Sommers. Welcome," the Kommandier's voice is just as light and friendly as her smile, as though she just wanted to be everyone's friend.

"Former minister, General Augustine," even though many at first wouldn't see it, even he was confused when he originally met the High Kommandier General. She was the Empress's younger sister.

"Disobeying a direct order, Minister. Never a good idea, especially directly to Athena. I'm surprised you got away with being dismissed," she chuckles, her eyes alight with a strange cheerful nature for a higher military officer in the Empire.

"I'd apologize, but I stand by my words, ma'am. Our embassy in New Meixio isn't equipped to fight against a Civil War, we only have a squad stationed there. I'd trust any soldier in our army with my life, but against almost a whole nation turning against them. They wouldn't last long, if the building is flattened," his blood began to boil once again, his hands already balling into fists.

High Kommandier General Annastasia Augustine simply smiled and nodded her head at his words, either undisturbed by his rising temper or she hasn't noticed.
"When you are the ruler of a nation, you can't simply think of every citizen and soldier individually. We are an entire populace. Whatever decision she makes it will affect all of us, not just those soldiers," she'd stand from her seat, her movements graceful and at ease. "I understand your concern Minister, but this isn't our fight. This is up to the government of New Meixio to fix or collapse, such is the way of things."

"Respectfully, I disagree Kommandier. New Meixio are our allies as well, it is our solemn duty to defend them."

"From who? Who are we actually going to defend, Minister? The government? The terrorists?" she was quick with her words, an easy going look on her features as she spoke. "We lost over one billion people in the last war. Do you want to explain to their families that we must ask for more of their loved ones to fight in another nation?" she reached his side of the table, and sat against it, giving the Minister a partially sad smile.
"Athena cannot and will not ask for any more blood from her people, as this is not our fight. End of discussion, and besides it's not like the Imperial Embassy and it's personnel are actually alone," her eyes had a mischievous look to them, which distracted the General from asking what she meant. He was at a lose for words, but was slapped back to reality when she spoke again.

"The gods have picked up a few more agreeables, and are closing in on their target. Although, where they are going will prove to be difficult and dangerous," she grabs a folder off a nearby cabinet, and sets it in front of the Minister. He'd pick it up and look inside, his eyes widening briefly.
