The March on Mediolanum
The Olivedrabian blitz through Italia continues, but now, the "Hell March" (as the Christian populace in Italia has come to calling it) is meeting fierce resistance from hastily gathered militias, and the Battle of Mediolanum appears to have devolved into total urban warfare, with much of the citizenry mobilized, not out of religious zeal, but out of sheer desperation, in order to try to prevent what happened in Venice, from happening to Mediolanum. With this unexpected roadblock, it appears the "Hell March" has been slowed, if not stopped entirely, and, for now, the Eternal City does not face threats from the Olivedrabian horde.
Blockade
The High Seas, however, are another story. The War Fleet has gathered around the major ports on Italia's western coast, and has begun a blockade. The Carriers Olivia and Gladia have launched sorties over the Penninsula, bombing strategic installations and supply lines to the cities of Pisa, Florence, and Ravenna, cutting off supplies headed for the North. The Admiral has demanded the surrender of the city of Pisa, and the islands of Corsica and Sardinia. With the lack of Nuke Cult militias in the Navy, there is little chance of an event like the Sack of Venice, and any cities that surrender to the Navy would be under the jurisdiction of the Navy and Marine Corps.

Colonia Luna
The Olivedrabian Lunar Colony has been booming in population, as it is a refueling station for commerce and other flights to Mars, and a major tourist destination. With a population of over 3,000, the Dome City has officially grown large enough to have representation in the Olivedrabian Senate, and now sends 2 senators to Fort Gladius for every legislative session.
Martian Confederation of Olivedrabian Colonies
The Moon is not the only extraterrestrial Olivedrabian settlement booming. Being made of multiple colonies, established by the Government and Corporations alike, it has developed a strong economy, and regularly ships raw materials to Olivedrabia for manufacture. The population on Mars is higher than that on the Moon, with the total number of colonists being 9000, spread out among 12 Dome cities, and over 50 scientific outposts. Its capital, Hadrianopolis, is the largest settlement, with 2000 citizens. Being so far from home, it doesn't have representation in the Senate, but does enjoy a high degree of autonomy, only being reliant on the motherland for manufactured goods and military protection.

The Protest of the 500
500 Olivedrabian officers, of varying rank, branch, and theater, seeing the atrocities committed by the Militias as an affront to their honor, have issued a protest to Hadrian Gladius, stating that, if the Nuke Cult is not reigned in, that they will immediately withdraw their forces from combat, and return home. A meeting is being held by High Command, with Hadrian Gladius in attendance. Rumors abound as to what will be done, with guesses from the execution of all who signed the letter to a complete withdrawal from the front. The prevailing prediction, however, is the redeployment of the militias to the African and Asian theaters, away from the watchful eyes of the public. For now, it is business as usual, with the battle of Mediolanum forecasted to last, for the very least, 2 weeks, and, at the most, a year.

The Siege of Suez
With AK’s in hand and naval support the National Army of Suwaya lands in droves on the west side of the gate between the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean. Though times have changed the route still supplies much of Rome’s food and raw materials. The force has arrived to take control of the port and hold all shipments to the heart of Rome, Europe. A civil war has erupted and though not especially fond of either side the Emir of Suwaya is fond of regional stability. It is unfortunate I will have to invade Nova senatus romanus. Upon establishing a controlled zone on the West Bank my navy will prevent any goods from leaving the Red Sea. A single shipment of food will be allowed to be sent to Rome monthly, they will fly Suwayan Flags.

The situation in Rome cannot be resolved peacefully. There will be a fierce and terrible battle.
Under the direction of Titus Cleraticus, the various rebel armies begin taking up along the Grande Raccordo Anulare, a ring-shaped motorway that encircles Rome. Checkpoints are set up, fortified trenches are dug and artillery weapons are sighted. A no-fly zone is established over the city, preventing any chances of airlifting supplies. Rome and its defenders are largely cut off the rest of the world. Reconnaissance units begin the difficult process of identifying key Squirrel positions within the city and developing possible attack routes.
The only thing left to determine is the question of civilians. Under a white flag, a lone Wolfcloak approaches the city to ask whether the defenders will accept a temporary ceasefire to evacuate of the city's inhabitants. Already, there is a thin trickle of families trying to avoid violence. Occasionally, a Squirrel cultist attempts to escape by posing as an innocent; the ones that are caught at checkpoints are taken and crucified on the orders of Cleraticus.
