Yes, but with massive contributions by the people and almost constant elections, most of our citizens believe that communism can have its benefits (when they are not complaining about the elections)
Reminds me of a story about the perfect recipe. Many imagine socialism to be the perfect recipe for government, and claim that every single chef that's ever been entrusted with it has ruined the dish. At some point they're going to have to accept the fact that it's the recipe that's flawed and not just the chefs.
In the end, everything has flaws. It just depends on which has the least flaws or the most benefits.
And I would argue that 'in the end' flaws will be done away with and forgotten, as written.
