RP | The Fête of Velvet Hours

The Court of Indefinite Color announces the Fête of Velvet Hours. A ceremony meant to collect the most influential and significant individuals around the world, bringing them all together to meet in the wonderful land of the Season of Indefinite Color. An event of making ties and connections, of the elite dealing with the elite. The Court of Indefinite Color wishes to use the festival to establish relations with all those that are marvelous and significant.

The ceremony will take place within the Garden of Parabola. A place where the stars are dreaming. A place where the night lasts forever. A place of indefinite romance.

The Fête of Velvet Hours will be hell and heaven for the senses, a spectacular event of indulgence. Mountains of food and drinks of indefinite variety from all around the world. The cakes are made of dreams, the wine feels like fiery confidence in the belly, the juicy fruits taste like forbidden delights. Enchanting music plays all throughout the Garden of Parabola, always appropriate for the drama of the situation.

To be allowed to attend the Fête of Velvet Hours one requires an invitation. A large quantity of invitations has been spread around the world, with a large variety of methods to acquire them. Several invitations are sent to powerful individuals around the world. Invitations are the price of certain talent shows. A heavy vault containing an invitation is located in a high security bank, and another vault was dropped to the ocean floor. A number of invitations are up for sale, for whomever is wealthy enough to afford them. There are many more possibilities of getting an invitation. How an invitation is procured is irrelevant. If one has it, one proves to be significant enough to be accepted. Blackmailing, conquest, corruption, murder, and thievery are all valid options for stealing an invitation from someone else. The Court hopes the most wealthy, powerful, influential, beautiful, intelligent, talented, skilled, or otherwise significant individuals will attend.
