She seemed as though she had aged five years in a day because of her bloodshot, heavy eyes. Furthermore, the combat situation was not progressing as anticipated, which added to the extensive list of issues. She switched on SPBC 1 Live, So Pep's go-to radio station for all the newest songs and frequent news updates.

The prime minister was singing along to the music, and then it cut out.
"Breaking news just in from Buckingham Palace: Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth III has been involved in a major traffic accident; police are inspecting the site; and emergency services have been contacted for three people. You will be kept informed."

Hay's facial expressions ceased. She barely avoided a collision herself as she continued to look blankly at the road. When she arrived home, she passed out in her husband's arms.
