This is the last day for our Retro Week. Question of the now: what is your favorite retro moment (any nation)? By this I mean any major (positive) event in culture before the year 2000. You'll find specific prompts in the spoiler.
You could talk about:
Favorite moment in sports before the year 2000
Favorite moment in music or film, or favorite retro film or actor/actress period
Favorite "artifact" such as a certain coin, older car model, VHS tape, vinyl record, article of clothing or style
Over it with retro? It's Frozen Food Day. Enjoy something yummy from the frozen section or something not so yummy. As a kid I used to take Ellio's frozen ice cream and add pepperoni and Tabasco sauce to make it delicious. In this age, I think Trader Joe's and (in France) Picard have the best frozen food.
Finally, we must celebrate a great and unparalleled achievement! 
Giovanniland, our card czar, is the first person in NS to have a complete card collection (both seasons) of a game created region (ours). It's something like 7,000+ cards! This is a monumental achievement requiring time, strong wrists, and a lot of bank! Hail, Gio!
