Ah, yes, we have a concept of winter in Consigahria. Some of our southern land lies at or near the equator, but a lot of our mountainous regions are more northern and with peaks above 30,000 feet, where there are permanent "winter" conditions...snow, flurries, hurricane-force gales, that kind of thing.
Average temperature in December in the mountains is around 12-18°F, with four to 15 inches of snow. Temperatures as low as −75.5°F (−59.7°C) and wind chills as low as −118.1°F (−83.4°C) have been recorded by an automated weather station located at 18,733 feet (5,700 m) on Mt. Perseverance.
I write this from Gifford-Pincheau Elk Club at the base of the mountain, where it's currently overcast, 29°F, with light, new snow. This kind of weather is rarely seen in Vermillion City where I live.
