As tensions between Lothric and Caifu continue to rise, the Caifuanese Government has reiterated it's threats to open sanctions against Lothric. Of the incident, Foreign Secretary Yang said, "it is impossible for we the Caifuanese to maintain our sense of humanity while cruel and racist governments oppress our kin on this world. Punishment must be enacted against anyone who would support or assist discriminatory governments in continuing their inhuman practices."

The threat of sanctions came after Lothirc announced it would be providing aid for Verteidiger, a nation currently being sanctioned by both Tholasyne and Caifu for racist and inhuman actions towards it's native population on multiple occasions. The Caifuanese embassy in Lothric issued a statement in which Ambassador Zhang beseeched the Lothrician government to cut off it's aid to Verteidiger.
