I have to find my village, He thought to himself.

Turning away from the carnage and confusion he caused, he ran off into the woods. Once he was in a secluded enough area, a small cave, he opened his mind to one of the myriad birds flying in the evening sky. Where is my village? The bird flew, and he saw. His village was about 15 miles away, due north. But where were the people? The village was empty! Exhausted, he decided to get some sleep . . .

1. Africa is not a country, it's a continent with a bunch of countries.
2. Get your grammar right, capital Is, capitalize FBI, and put commas between nations.
3. The FBI doesn't have a 1-10 danger rating.
4.Syria and Afghanistan are about the least secure countries in the world. Better off in France, they don't have an extradition treaty.

In his dreams, a giant wolf came to him. Achak, it said. Your world is in danger. The creatures are only rising more, and you alone cannot stop them. You must seek out the white men, only by banding together may you survive.

Absolutely! I don't know if you're talking about our RP, but it's open to everybody, and at the end it's going to go in the next TRT issue.

Nice, is there somewhere where I can pick up a run-down of the situation?

Hardbassschool wrote:The hunter walked close to a river, glowing in the moonlight. He knelt down to get a drink. He didn't notice the monster not 10 feet behind him...

Bribillichnoveroloriland wrote:With a screech too horrible for words, the Wendigo attacked . . . but the hunter was prepared. With the flash of a silver knife, black blood sprayed. The monster hunter turned back to the river. Time to clear out the rest of the nest . . .

Of altonianic islands wrote:The Native American hunter stalked his prey. In this world, all those monsters from our mythology are real. More than just simple nightmares stalk the darkness, in a world where faded dreams are the reality. He shook off his thoughts, and continued his careful walk, towards Kazad-Suy - the ancient burial site where the rest of the wretched monsters lived.

Hoffania wrote:He reaches the cemetery, creeping up on it slowly. As he nears a break in the bushes, a stick snaps under his foot. Wait, no...
Behind him.

He whips around with his knife, and manages to slay it, but then another grabs him from behind!

Of altonianic islands wrote:He writhes around, and manages to stab the Wendigo right through the eye.

"Maybe I shouldn't have come here alone." The hunter thought to himself.

He carried on. He needed to save the members of his village, and he didn't have much time left.

Galahadi wrote:He reached the burial mound without further incident. Time for the hard part. He entered the darkened crypt, prepared for the worst from these horrid monsters.

Hardbassschool wrote:As he entered, he unslung his bow, and strung a silver arrow dipped in mandrake oil across the string. Time to do so monster killing While he might've been good with a knife, nothing compared to his skill with a bow. 1 shot, 2 shot, 3 shot, 4! All in the space of a dozen seconds. The monsters that survived the initial wounds started writing around as the poison took affect.

Hoffania wrote:Soon enough, they were all dead. Well, whatever passed for dead for these godforsaken creatures. He left the crypt, and continued back to his village. Almost there, he saw a faint glow on the horizon...

Of altonianic islands wrote:The people he saved from the ruined crypt were with him as well. Half of the village had been taken . . . a quarter made it out. The hunter's name was Achak, and he was the tribe's shaman. The only reason there were any survivors was his knowledge of the occult. He, along with the warriors of the tribe, had fought against the Wendigos when they attacked their village, but had suffered heavy losses. The only survivors had been a handful of warriors, and the women and children who hadn't been taken.

"What is that strange glow?" Achak wondered. One word was summoned into his mind. Fire

"Everyone! Run to save the village!"

Bribillichnoveroloriland wrote:But they were too late. Their European enemies, who's negligence of the old ways were causing these catastrophes, were already sacking it.

Hoffania wrote:His arrow pierced the heck of one of the pillagers and he was nocking a second one, when the blast of light and sound came from one of their sticks. No! With those, there would be no stopping them. And yet, he had to try.

Bribillichnoveroloriland wrote:Being a shaman had some benefits; while he had already spent a lot of his power hunting the Wendigos, he could at the very least make them pay. With vengeance the only thought in his mind, he summoned the power of the forest. The white men were destroyed in an instant of raw power, while the village continued to burn. From there, he fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.

*3 Days Later*

Achak awoke from his slumber, in the ruins of one of the buildings. He could hear the hustle and bustle of life from outside the walls, and he got and up, and stepped out the door . . .

Hoffania wrote:It was a village, but not like any he had seen before. Instead of the traditional wood buildings, these were huge, easily the size of the longhouse in his village. He saw one building, with a main box-like part, but at the front, something that looked like a giant spear, with a cross on it. He turned around, and saw huge... things in the water, like the canoes in his village, but a hundred times bigger, and with huge white things on top of more spears. He heard whispering around him...

Libera-mercatum oeconomia wrote:Soon a crowd formed around the disheveled shaman. The bright lights of this unfamiliar place overwhelmed him, and... what were they wearing?
In Achak's mind, he was not the insane one.
By this time, the crowd had grown and were edging closer to him. Overwhelmed, Achak notched an arrow, and the crowd edged back, panicked. Sensing their hesitation, he ran to the dock's housing the unfamiliar things. Achak climbed up onto one of the large, inanimate, white beasts in the water, having lost the crowd.

Where the hell was he?

He continued to dream.

"Should I find my people first?"

"All will come in time, my son. You must forge an alliance with the white men first."

"Who are you?"

"I am Maheegan, father of all wolves. You are my child in spirit, if not in blood and bone."

"How will I accomplish your task?"

"That is not for me to say. But regardless, my time grows short."

"How do I gain the help of the white men, when I don't even speak their language?"

"That is a legitimate concern . . . let me teach you."

When the shaman woke up a few hours later, he was fully versed in English.

He too was dreaming of a wolf. The wolf god Maheegan. He had much the same conversation with the God as Achak had. He too had the spirit of the wolf in him; indeed, he and Achak were spirit brothers. He learned the language of the Algonquin while he slept. His name was Timothy Sutton, and he was about to be very, very important.
