We have a new Question of the Day! Today's question is: How do you feel about the upcoming regional elections that begin in a week?
I'm personally excited for them, and can't wait to see who decides to step up to lead the region! On that note, I'll point out a few things.
You have to become a citizen within the next 24 hours (and remain one until the end of the election) in order to vote in the upcoming elections for President, Speaker, and World Assembly Delegate. There are two ways to become a citizen.
1. Join the World Assembly and endorse our World Assembly Delegate Of arian hellas to automatically receive citizenship.. This is a much easier way to obtain citizenship, and it helps secure the region at the same time!
2. Apply for citizenship through the forum with the following link: http://thefreenations.freeforums.net/thread/121/fnr-citizenship-application. This way obviously takes more effort (making a forum account and all), but if your World Assembly nation is elsewhere, you can still get citizenship this way.

As another note, I have decided to not run for reelection for President, as I would like to give an opportunity for someone else to do something with the position, and I don't think there is much more I can do. There are also other things I'd like to spend my time on, both inside and outside NS, so I just don't want to be president again (I'll be honest, it isn't fun being President.) This is a good opportunity to try to win the region's vote for President!
Well to be honest, im not really into regional politics so I will most likely not vote but I wish good luck to all those who will run.

OOC: Crop your nation out from the main map, color every single thing that isn't a coastline or a border white, and resize it to 200 percent.
That's how I made my national maps in MS Paint.
I know how to make maps with relief (physical maps). You can download a map of the region and cut it, then circle the borders of your country and other countries, download a texture from the Internet and apply it on a new layer, then erase from the texture layer everything that is beyond the borders of your state. Next on the layer with borders paint over green - forests, yellow - deserts, brown - mountains and so on.
Then place a layer with borders and relief colors one layer above the texture and adjust the transparency of the layer with borders or set this layer to "Multiplication"
The result was a beautiful physical map. On it can be noted the boundaries of provinces or states, cities, etc.
Software: for PC Photoshop or Paint.net, for mobile Autodesk Sketchbook.

In addition to the sketchbook on phones there are no more good programs for this purpose. You yourself can make a map, you will find out in the "layers" section (the second button on the right in the top panel)
If you can’t figure it out, then I can make a map for you, but for now I’m making my card, but in general the whole process takes about seven to eight hours (you can actually make it in 2-3 days)
