We're at around 20 Billion.

I feel old by game standards. 10.147 Billion.

Indian Empire wrote:I feel old by game standards. 10.147 Billion.

If you are old, I am ancient. 28.8 Billion.

If he calls that old then I'm around maybe Bronze Age old at 16-17 billion people

The World Average is 2.96 Billion, but the Texas average is at about 11 Billion. So I'm actually decently young compared to Texan Nations as a whole, but I sit substantially over the NS Average.

I'm in the top 1% of the world for highest populations, yet I am only 23rd in the region.

The whole Nation of Eitna is absolutely shocked due to the newest WA Legislation "Repeal Restrictions On Hydraulic Fracturing".
Eitnabain are known to take environmental topics quite serious. Thus in this case many religious organisations have announced either the end of the world or its total destruction.

The national traffic coordination authority, bureau for foreign relation kindly asks to vote against the legislation (to keep the previous one) to prevent a nationwide mass hysteria.

**** New WA Resolution Notification *****

There is currently a new General Assembly Resolution at vote. When expressing your opinion, please note which Resolution it is for. And remember Texans, your individual vote does count!

The new Resolution is called:
"Repeal: "Restrictions On Hydraulic Fracturing"
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.

Category: Repeal Resolution: GA#417 Proposed by: Imperium Anglorum

General Assembly Resolution #417 "Restrictions on Hydraulic Fracturing" (Category: Environmental; Industry Affected: All Businesses) shall be struck out"...

<see the General Assembly for full text and to vote>

Synopsis: The General Assembly is attempting the rare Insta-Repeal™ of the controversial fracking Resolution. Most Texans wanted to save the planet last time, so we are going to respect their wishes. Two Stars. As a reminder, the issue here is the REPEAL of the existing law. A vote AGAINST this Resolution means you are in favor of the existing law and do not want it repealed. A vote FOR this Resolution means you want the law off the books. NewTexas will go on record as AGAINST on this Resolution. This is only the opinion of NewTexas. We look forward to other Texans' opinions and comments on this Resolution. If good arguments to the contrary are made, we will reconsider our position.

The Texas response was way up on the last GA vote -- Restrictions On Hydraulic Fracturing -- which was passed after gaining 69.4% of the vote. As a reminder, all we are looking for is a simple 10% of Texans to say one way or another. We are a force for change in the WA. Every vote counts! There were 6 publicly-expressed opinions on the last Resolution with the final Texas tally running 5 FOR and 1 AGAINST and 0 ABSTAIN and 0 UNDECIDED. Texans were almost unanimous on that one.

If you would like to take part in shaping the world you live in, please vote. Voting is a right and a privilege, please consider using it. And, if you are not a member of the World Assembly, we strongly encourage you to join.

All Texas WA Member nations please vote. Please make your Texan opinions known in Texas by 11:00 PM Monday and in the World Assembly voting booth by 11:00 PM Texas Time on Tuesday the 5th. Current voting in The World is running - Votes FOR: 3530 Votes AGAINST: 3595

Can we at the World Assembly please stop trying to repeal every resolution it passes? There should be a standard by which resolutions should be in force for at least a year before a repeal can be attempted.

No, there should be a standard by which only decently-written proposals get voted in at all. Our players seem to vote for any piece of crap, no matter how ignorantly phrased they may be. I'm entirely in favor of repealing those as quickly as possible.

Begins to stir the peasantry into the beginning phases of revolution; quietly dispensing torches, pitchforks, and wanted posters of his competition to the riled up citizens of Texas.
"F799 for SecDef" came the chants as they grew louder and louder with the ever growing mob of angry dissidents marching down the streets setting fire to any wayward hay bales that got in their way

Just because you disagree with something does not mean it is crap. You seem too narrow-minded.
