Since the establishment of the Scroll of Horus, our regional Constitution, legislation has been proposed left and right most in order to ensure stability and procedure within several departments established by the constitution.
These include:
Legislative Rules Act - Giving the Council of Scribes (regional legislature composed of all citizens) procedures and formatting to follow. Currently at vote, passing unanimously.
Regional Traditions Act - Combination of a few laws passed under the former Constitution (Scroll of Ma'at) including the Legal Code, Holiday Act (establishes official holidays to be celebrated by Osiris), and Currency Act (establishes the official currency of Osiris). Currently at vote, passing unanimously.
Charter of Rights Act - A very basic and modest bill of rights.
Prohibited Status Act - Replaces the former Legal Code and allows Osiris to declare certain regions and organizations as proscribed, and certain nations as Persona non Grata.
Criminal Code Act - Outlines the high crimes, felonies, and misdemeanors.

In an announcement last night, Pharaoh Syberis named Pharaoh Emeritus Neo Kervoskia (aka Griffin Rahl-Montresor) as Archduke of Cairo. Being granted a royal title displays nobility and dedication to the region. Congratulations NK!

Lastly, Pharaoh Syberis made a brief announcement titled "The Future of the Sekhmet Legion." For those of you that are unaware, the Sekhmet Legion is the regional military of Osiris. His brief announcement is pasted in the spoiler below.

Thank youuuuu! :) Not to badger you guys about Discord, but we do give a fair warning on Discord when we're going to do a citizen audit. If you joined up, it might help you remember to make your forum posts so you don't have to keep applying. But - for the record - you can expect citizenship audits around the first week of every month, so just try to keep in mind toward the end of every month that if you haven't posted on the forum at all, you need to. :)
