I do like the Raleigh skyline banner you picked out. I hope that doesn't seem exclusive to our residents from other parts of the state.
Actually, I will be changing the banner a few times until I find one that looks a lot better. Any suggestions for a new banner would be great. The biggest issue that I have is the dimensions that they ask for, 1200 by 120 pixels and it seems to cut off depending upon the viewer's page width. I'm not sure about what kind of picture to use that includes the whole state.
I had never been to Raleigh, so I had to locate pictures of it to come up with a banner. The other parts of North Carolina that I had been at, none of the pictures that I have are appropriate to be used as a banner. Many of these pictures are over 20 years old, so they really would not work anyway.
Just a couple of thoughts: The blue ridge parkway, the state capitol, cape hatteras lighthouse, chimney rock, an outline of the state/ a map.
I have to get around to this, but cannot use any of my personal photos as none of them are suitable.

It can get pretty quiet around here for stretches of time. We're a fairly casual region. I'm from the triangle myself btw.

I really had not decided what region is subsidiary to what region. I control both and this region is somewhat independent, as was Pennsylvania and Minnesota until the natives all died off in those regions. It would make sense that this region would be subsidiary to United States of America, even though those big regions really are just puppet storage regions.

I would prefer to stay the way we are. While this region has fallen off from the amount of activity it had when I first joined NS and the North Carolina region, I prefer being independent and having our own identity rather than trying to join ourselves at the hip to another region.
I also don't really know why I would want to be an official "sub region" to any region considering we don't really do much of anything these days anyway. I've always hated the raider defender game and there's only two of us in this region who are in the WA. I don't have time to RP and I like to take my discussions of politics to other places these days.
I don't have time to add too much more to my plate right now. Considering I control United States of America and a number of other states, they are only in an alliance for that reason, and rarely do any of the residents that are left in any of these regions have much to do with those in my other regions.
I really don't like the sub-region idea either. To me, this region is equal to my massive puppet storage regions, as well as my smaller regions. I had retired from the invader/defender game ages ago. Also, I have never participated in RP games in this game, nor bothered to look up how to use the current version of messaging.
Politics is a scary subject. I try not to get into that.
I'd prefer this region to be independent, or part of a US-themed alliance with both Northern and Southern states.
Then again, I always was a Unionist boat.
