Hello! I heard this was a modern tech RP region and I wanted to hop in. Could I get some help getting started and getting on the map? And speaking of the map, is Germany available?

Hi, Scanadinavia! If you scroll up and take a look at the region's World Factbook Entry you'll see a link to our off-site forum. There you can register and create an account using your nation name before making an introduction and requesting a space on the map.

So our forums have had a bit of an upgrade/switch as of late. Basically, Tapatalk bought out our old forum provider and as a result, our forums were migrated over to the Tapatalk style. Luckily the transition was, for the most part, a smooth one. We did not lose any of our years of data and we've gain a few things from the experience as a result. Irregardless, if you're having trouble whatsoever with logging in or anything, please let myself or Porcu know and we are more than happy to help :)

In recent months the International Debating Area (or IDA) has suffered from low activity. It is no longer the busy and prosperous region it once was, a place where people from around the world would come to get their views challenged.
We intend to change this. Currently, the International Debating Area is undergoing its Grand Restoration as a last effort to reinstall activity and frequent debates. We would appreciate it if members from across all our embassies participated in our debates and perhaps even move a puppet to our region. Right now, we're hosting our first serious poll in a while:

We do have moderators, but they are not individuals who decide the outcome of particular actions between nations. We are a writing community, so RPs are generally worked out with the agreement of all involved. This doesn't mean that there isn't spontaneity (there are lots of examples of unexpected turns), just that a general framework for a storyline is understood beforehand and the RP is a way for us to further develop characters, our respective nations, international relations, and even war.
Your perspective level can take almost any form you like. Personally, I often try to bounce back and forth between the perspective of an individual character and a omniscient observer of events unfolding in my nation.
