Hey! Would you look at who's back! Haven't seen anyone from the old group in a long time. The RP's definitely gonna get interesting now since Slavuja has moved on from the Serbovo-satellite regime... or has it?

Anyways, we're redoing our regional map these days so we'll be pretty flexible with the claims. Parts of Kosovo, Macedonia, and Albania are claimed by Matatic and Surkis, while we have two inactive players that cover the other parts of your old territories (we'll see if they're still interested in RP, but you can probably have the core of the old USSR-S)

The neo-soviet empire

Hello EE!
I haven't been on for a week as quite a bit has been holding me up the past few days.
Has anything major happened since last Wednesday?

For the peace prize thing, it seems like yet another popularity contest. The WA is full of useless legislation so I don’t think we need more back-patting between those who are in control. As for the LGBT one, it’s a free popularity boost for openly lgbt regions and I don’t really see why that’s so necessary considering they’re already pretty big and well-known. Honestly I think the WA is an insiders club of people who like sitting in their echo chambers and the only reason I’m in it is so I can help protect the region with endorsements

Cool cool
The reason I'm doing it is because I'm a power hungry tyrant (if that wasn't clear already)

Whaaaat? Oh no my neighbor is gone 😢

Anyway, how come some countries are coloured in but claimable? I think it would be more clear if unclaimed land was left blank. Otherwise, I think we’re good to go for RP! I’d love to hear the story of how Serbovo ended up in Iceland haha

via telegram: "Honestly, I think I might give say, Iceland as a starting point a try. Being as I always have a focus on my Navy and Airforce. Since I don't want to screw M&S out of any of their land."

I just received Niater’s telegram today, i guess our disputed were resolved? I would’ve just conceded the necessary territory anyways it’s not a big deal for me, i like the idea of being a small nation.

Also it looks like Santa selena is going to CTE, what happened?

I would also like to add I never went through with my recruitment plan, I’m evil and want the region to die! But seriously I’m just extremely lazy.

Alright, let’s kick off the rp :)

From Radio New Slavuja:
Today, Slavujan Prime Minister Boban Jorgovan has announced that Slavuja will be readopting the Soviet Ruble as national currency. This move comes after a year of unprecedented inflation of the Slavujan Krone, reaching a peak monthly inflation of 8.8% in July according to government data. The Krone, adopted in 2018 following the second resignation of Admiral Kosta Maljević and the deprecation of the People’s Republic, was designated after the currency of the State of Slavuja (1918-1939) and featured several prominent Slavujans of that time period such as President Konstantinovich, Dr. Sandu, and others. PM Jorgovan has announced that Krones can be exchanged for Rubles at a rate of 1900 SKr. for 1 Rub.

Critics of the government have expressed their discontent for the government’s decision, calling it a blatant cover-up of the recent economic mismanagement of Jorgovan’s administration and criticizing the lack of transparency in the decision. A government spokesperson has refuted these claims as completely unfounded and accused the critics of working for foreign interests. We wish all our listeners a pleasant Sunday.

Question

Federal republic of socialsts hold a poll on if we should use a semi unified one currency

RP

After the success of the Deutsche Mark, and it being replaced by the Euro which today, Germany is the only one to use it so far (I will interchangeably call myself Niater or Germany) with other countries being enticed to use it as it has a stable history and value. Angela Merkel (yes I am using her as Chancellor until the September 2021 elections) has been praised yet criticized for some moves, like the Far right increasing In some areas near the Border with the GDR which has never collapsed after '91. Today the German economy is stable and the Capital (Bonn; I plan to set another capital in Frankfurt if I so wish to since, split) has many top sites and has been attracting lots of visitors recently.

I don't mean to criticize anyone, but please don't copy real-life news and events in the RP. It's boring if you just read the news and rephrase it here. It's fine to base your nation on real life countries but the RP is going to be garbage if you ignore all the nations here in the region and talk about real-world stuff. Try to imagine the EE universe as separate from what's going on in real life and do things your own way.

updated my capital and leader

30 years after Hofer's death in 1981, celebrations have been held in Niedersachsen to honor his service, After the split, Rostock and Meckleburg-Vorpommern has never been the celebration of his legacy, from an excerpt from a paper:

"He was born on February 13, 1887 in Rostock, Mecklenburg-Schwerin in Northern Germany in the Reich era of Germany, with him being a part of the Hofer family, his mother, Ally Hofer, worked as a clerk for a local shop in Northern Rostock, and his father, Pat Hofer, as the City Mayor of Rostock, so his family clearly held a high position in government, locally, at least. When the news was born he was born, everyone knew that he'd be the city mayor one day, or hold at least a position in politics, and he certainly did, his dad and mom agreed to move to Potsdam for a brief period after resigning as Mayor of Rostock, he said that this move was not politically motivated but due to the worsening economic climate of the State, Potsdam, Prussia has a decent housing rate and a good standard of living. He bid farewell on January 24th, 1897, he was 9 years old. After moving to Potsdam, he met Pohl's son, Ludwig Pohl, which was 11 at the time. According to him, he was a nice friend, and always tended to when Ludwig was sad, Ludwig was born on January 4, 1886 in Brandenburg an der Havel before moving to Potsdam when he was 8. Ludwig is 34 years, one ahead of Hofer. Ludwig is currently the next candidate for the Chancellorship and is currently a high ranking member in the SPD."

He died at 94 in 1981 which was one of the most prosperous years for Germany ever since WW2 ended, it has been 30 years and many are still calling him the savior of democracy in Germany, current Chancellor Angela Merkel (context: new leader in September) has said that he is one of the most honored people in Germany and even in the current disunited state, he is still remembered. In Lüneberg where his honor statue is at, flowers are being put there and to this day is filled with roses and flowers.
