We going on vacation?
Deliberating over the recent events in Astoniland, a nation which has greatly helped Serbatiya in it's past war, the Serb government considers a small intervention a duty in order to protect Serb populace there that has just barely migrated into Sotnian isles and repay the debt that Astoniland has placed on Serbatiya. Serb government has hence forth taken these measures: Special units of Chetnik Corps numbering 2000 men, the most elite Serbatiya has to offer, the People's Militia numbering 4000 men who have experience in handling rebellions and guerilla fighters such as the case in Krayina. But along with this 2000 members of regular Serb People's Army, veterans from Krayina war, as well as 2000 Astonilander volunteers whom were a part of foreign legions who participated in Krayina war and have experience both from recent war and in Astoniland itself. Total strenght numbering 10.000 men. They are to be sent to Astoniland capital first to meet up with local troops before making their way to Sotnian isles to help quell the rebellion and rescue Serb civilians from potential slaughter.
Along with the troops, the Serb government is also going to send leftover weapons from Krayina war. Everything from repeaters, bolt-action rifles and pump-action shotguns along with proper ammunition. If the conflict drags on for longer period the government considers option of sending in experimental sub-machine guns and semi-automatic rifles to test them out on actual battlefield for when they are ready for proper use. The expeditionaries legion will simply be called Serb Foreign Legion, and for when they return they will return with more experience which will be put in proper use for back home...
Kiss the sea breeze
With increased interaction with across-the-world countries, the Serb state has decided to commission construction of new naval ships to protect it's trading vessels and the country's surrounding waters. Namely the ships that are commissioned are: 1 dreadnought battleship, 5 protected cruisers and 5 torpedo boats. Construction of these vessels is estimated to be completed by years 1902 or 1903.

Dissidents in the Army
Ulysses Jacobson and Cale Allsebrook are probably the most loyal generals in all of Kerris' army. They've been with him ever since the revolution happened, and have so far, passed all loyalty tests that they have done. But a mere loyalty test means nothing if you hide secrets, and that's exactly what they're doing. Both men are actually the opposite of loyal, they're simply there because they wanted the career and the money, they're Machiavellians, and they're proud of it. They will do anything to further their own goals, even if it's at the expense of a person or the whole nation. But well, if these men are not what they seem, then what are they?
Ulysses Jacobson is a devout Oremian and secretly a staunch supporter of the Brotherhood of Deus. He has helped the terrorist organization by giving confidential information about Outremerian supply lines in the war and important targets that are potentially strike-worthy. He has been a general for a long time, and to avoid being potentially killed by the Social Nationalists, he swore loyalty to Kerris when the revolution occurred. He along with other influential "Old Guard" generals have done this to avoid being purged, and one of those other men is his best friend, Cale Allsebrook.
Cale Allsebrook is ideologically the complete opposite of his comrade. He's a staunch Anarcho-Syndicalist and was a member of the National Confederation of Labour, the most influential anarchist organization before it was banned and forced underground by the Kerris administration. He's a supporter and friend of fellow anarchist Harrison Kemp-Welch, and he helped the man secretly escape to Olivedrabia when the revolution happened. He's the most daring out of the two, and has often been in close-call situations while covertly aiding his leftist brothers, but so far, he hasn't been caught and will continue to aid them until the true revolution is accomplished.
While both generals are completely politically opposite of each other, they have agreed to do an alliance due to similar goals, that being, somehow overthrowing the Kerris regime. They hope that due to Kerris' brute attitude, the war will go against him, and when the time is ripe, they will strike and save the nation from this brutal regime and bring forth a new era of peace and democratic values....or at least that's the plan.

The wild chase
In the recent weeks, the advancing communist forces used their time and the tactical retreat of the fascist troops in order to fortify and organize their troops. The terribly failed offensives, which resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths, ravaged the strength and the organization of the People’s Liberation Army, which, in some areas, terribly lacked things as essential as food and rations. The slow, but steady advance of the communist troops only worsened the situation in part, as the railways and roads have been destroyed by the retreating rival troops, but the top military generals and the Chairman himself wanted the conflict to be over as fast as possible. However, the more rational military personnel of the People’s Liberation Army were aware that they will, at one point, encounter very strong resistance from the rival army, and therefore argued that first the re-organization of the troops is essential in order to maintain the advantage of the Socialist Republic in the civil war.
Meanwhile, the National Army was retreating slowly, leaving very little supplies and munition behind, only to slow the rival army. Over the last months, predicting a communist advance, the National State has been focusing on a project named “アイアンライン” (Or “Iron Line”), which involved the building of latest-generation forts and trenches along an established line of hundreds of kilometers, in order to prevent the push of the People’s Liberation Army and potentially to strike back with a counter-attack. As the communists were pushing, the line was ready for the red human wave that would strike it.
In the south, the things did not slow down even one bit, as the bombing along the Nipokkoa river continued on both sides. It is estimated that the military infrastructure along the river is completely ruined, and after months of bombing, this should not be a surprise. Despite the treaty of collaboration between the organizations, the use of cluster bombs continued on both sides. Moreover, the war has brought a new premiere, the use of the Phosphorus bomb, a deadly gas bomb that is highly inflammable, causes plenty of damage when inhaled and can cause damage to the eyes if too close, inflicting temporary or even permanent blindness. The bomb was first used by the National Army on the 1st of March on a military convoy of the People’s Liberation Army that was advancing near the north of the city. Most of the soldiers in the convoy either died due to the gas, being burnt alive of inhaling it, or are severely injured.
Kill the snakes
Ever since the beginning of the war, the National-Socialists, despite having a disadvantage, played their cards better. The party behind the Ueshidese fascist movement initially had very close ties to the communist movement, as the leader of the party himself was initially a vocal communist. Thus, the fascists managed to build a network of spies inside the party even since before the war, as the communists slowly grew to become their rivals. After the war started, the National State was able to also infiltrate the ranks of the rival army, often holding many pieces of information regarding the organization and logistics of the enemy division before the battle, along with information regarding the positioning of the troops during bombing campaigns, explaining the wild success of the National Army in their bombing campaigns along the Nipokkoa river. Over time, the enemy’s superiority began to raise question signs regarding the loyalty of the enemy generals and troops, especially when the telegram communication of a People’s Liberation Army lieutenant towards the enemy troops was revealed. The lieutenant was executed for treason, and suddenly, everything began to make sense for the communist troops. This discovery led to a full-on purge of the suspected communist troops, ordered by the Chairman Nishusi Tamurai himself, despite the objections from the top military personnel, who argued that it would halt the growing morale. The executions of the suspected members were very chaotic, as plenty of times completely innocent soldiers were killed. The terrorizing purge led to thousands deserting from the army, some of them ending up on the National State side and taking up arms for them.
Project “黒スズメ”
Even though it was a statement that many in the National State did not see with good eyes, it was obvious they were losing. Despite the massive number of casualties inflicted to the rival side, the fascists were slowly pushed to the more mountainous area of the nation, where the military infrastructure was obviously much harder to operate. Among the many plans to defeat the Socialist Republic was the “シークレットウェポンプログラム” (Secret Weapon Program), which was focused on developing new weapons that would potentially revolutionize warfare and, upon developing, would help the National State defeat the communist forces. Despite its potential succes, the Program was thrown at the bottom of a large drawer and forgotten there for many months. That, until the young scientist Misiyoku Kotora presented his new flying prototype to the military heads of the National State, which were very impressed and already were thinking of a use of the plane, in order to damage enemy troops, by attaching a machine gun to the plane. However, the overall structure of the plane needs to be modified, in order to be safer and capable of longer flights. The engineers of the National Army are working side by side with Kotora in order to develop a second version of the prototype, while a hundred versions of the first prototype have been ordered to train potential new pilots. The subproject ended up being called 黒スズメ (Black Sparrow) by its inventor, Kotora.

The Land in Our Control

The Valedorian Army won many battles along the border. The 2nd Armeo divided its forces and rushed inland, encircling smaller Rhomanian troops and capturing various strategic locations in the west. The Valedorians have made many successes; however, the fighting still rages on, and the supply line from the north is becoming overstretched. As a result, troop movements have slowed significantly. The west may be in occupation by the end of the season, after which military commanders can hunker down in the province, seeing the disparity between army sizes. The Valedorian Armies relied on speed for the initial attack, but its forces proved temporarily inferior to the enemy resistance. Defensive positions will be taken up in the plains and near the mountainous far west until reinforcements can arrive.
In the fields of battle, the enemy used chemical weaponry to stall the invasion: phosgene gas. Valedorian soldiers have already begun calling it "Sufoka Morto," or the choking death, a characteristic of its effects on the lungs. Valedori did not anticipate the use of chemical warfare in isolated Rhomania; thus, defenses against it are inadequate for now. Dozens of soldiers have already been killed due to its usage in Rhomanian artillery shells.
The invasion proves initially successful, but unsustainable. We must hold off for now.
Propaganda and Economy
Since the beginning of the war, the Ministry of Peace has made propaganda and security the two main priorities in Valedori. Across the country, posters depicting Olivedrabians as pigs are displayed. Citizens are encouraged to distrust anyone they know to be of Gladian descent. On loudspeakers and radios, citizens are fed exaggerated information about the war effort, including descriptions of the triumph of Valedorian soldiers. The Valedorian flag is flown over every building of every city. By the decree of Duriton Chenarel, the expression of foreign culture in public is forbidden, to promote national unity and boost morale. With the reality that the war will be long and grueling, the Ministry of Economy has issued war bonds to help raise funds to sustain the war effort. Rationing is soon to be implemented.
"As expected, there are dissenters among the general population. Whether in public or secret, they voice their distaste for this war of ideology. We cannot allow this to continue. Find them, round them up, and remove those bad apples from our glorious produce. Destroy the Gladians, and any others who attempt to oppose our grand undertaking. In an attempt to keep people from paying attention to the current rebellion Astoniland has invested a considerable sum of cash into advertisements abroad and locally, trying to get people to focus on the beautiful nature of Astoniland and the touristic cities, promising fun, games, and safety stating that Astoniland remained untouched by the chaos going on around the globe! But, of course, this ignored the chaos going on in the Stonic Isles.
Not only did it go to the advertisement but also the companies themselves, stating that the best ranked and the most used company would get a prize, that prize being a plot of land on the Western Isles, an excellent hotel in such a place could be a nice place to ski and other rare commodities in Astoniland so many did their best to use the investment to prop up attention into their companies and improving their facilities, some lowering their places due to wartime expenses.
Reports of the war were drowned out by advertisements and good news basically limiting the reports of the Stonic rebellion limited to a few politically aware citizens and the opposition which being honest, was too small to be a nuisance, for now, that's.

A New Warship
With the navy undergoing expansion in response to the war, a new class of warship has been proposed. It is a battleship, but it has diverged heavily from its predecessors. The class does away with the secondary armaments of previous battleships, instead posessing 3 centerline twin 12 inch turrets, as well as 2 wing turrets of the same configuration. This gives her a total armament of 10 12 inch guns, with an 8 gun broadside. She is the first warship of her class to also be powered by steam turbines rather than triple expansion steam engines, also making her the fastest battleship in the world, with a top speed of 21 knots. With a 21,000 ton displacement, she will also be the largest warship upon completion. To flex it's industrial might, the Empire has elected to make construction of the warship as rapid as possible, using the newest techniques, and dedicating a lot of manpower, hoping to go from laying the keel to launching the ship for her inspection in around 5 months. This is not to be standard practice, but the goal is to demonstrate to the world that the Empire can not only make revolutionary ship designs, but also build them quickly. The ship is to be called the INS Audax, and it will revolutionize ship design.

On the morning of March 4th, 1901, the quiet Rhomanian countryside was interrupted by the sounds of marching men. They had just moved their entire army by train, and after gathering at the regional capital, they began to march north. Onlookers stood beside the road as they marched, some cheering, while others, some of whom had seen the last war, just watched solemnly, as the column of men, horses, and artillery went past. Carrying through the air were old Gladian marching songs, many dating back to the days of the ancient republic. Spirits are high, and discipline holds, as the Sons of Gladius march to face off against the Western Barbarians. Their destination is the center of the front, with the goal of halting the Valedorian advance, and allow for allied reinforcements to arrive and help to turn the tide of war.
Taking Notice
Olivedrabia was impressed by the Rhomanian use of Phosgene Gas against Valedorian forces, and quickly established its own Chemical Warfare Department. Tasked with researching and developing different kinds of chemical weapons, both to kill and incapacitate, the department is well funded, and staffed with scientists, officers, and analysts alike.
To Kill
While Phosgene is an effective weapon, Olivedrabia feels that it can develop an even more effective chemical weapon based 9n it. While Phosgene is deadlier than Chlorine gas, the denser nature of Phosgene means that the gas does not cover as wide an area. Olivedrabian scientists theorize that, by mixing 1 part Chlorine and 1 part Phosgene, a sufficient mixture of lethality and coverage can be reached. Tests on Phosgene-Chlorine mixtures are to begin immediately.
To Incapacitate
While the obvious benefit of lethal gas attacks make them seem to be the more useful option, many military theorists believe that Tear Gas, if deployed en masse ahead of an Olivedrabian assault, could cause disorder in the enemy lines. Such chemicals are not a new concept, and the Olivedrabian military had started developing them during the latter stages of the Great War, though it was never deployed. With this war shaping up to be more brutal than the last, however, its use has been authorized, and tear gas is being manufactured on an industrial scale.
To Protect
The biggest downside to using chemical weapons is that they are indiscriminate, and will harm both friend and foe. To avoid this, the Chemical Warfare Department has also been tasked with developing a means of protecting Olivedrabian soldiers from aerosolized chemical weapons. Inspiration was taken by various forms of masks employed by miners, industrial workers, and chemists, and the Mark I Gas Mask: an awkward, bulky design, was proposed and approved. The masks have their downsides, however. They don't work against every kind of chemical weapon, and are virtually useless against chemical weapons designed for skin contact rather than inhalation. Nevertheless, production has begun, and it has become standard issue kit for the soldiers.

We Cannot Ignore This War!
In the Republic of Deskhs and Slovs, the government and the general public are at odds. News of Astonilandian and Serbatiyan troops moving to crush the Sotnian rebellion has inflamed public opinion and brought the minority Revanczist faction's political influence to a new level. Some of the country's leading newspapers print highly-embellished stories of innocent Sotnian women being molested by the dark-skinned brutes of the infamous Kolonial Trope, further driving public opinion toward an armed response. In the republic's western ports, overly-eager volunteer militias have taken to performing weapon drills with improvised wooden rifles in the streets, hoping for the chance to retake the Isles and liberate their former brothers.
In spite of the overheated rhetoric from the revanczists, the Deskoslovakian government is taking a much more measured approach. Under the direction of Foreign Minister Josef Prometyan, the Astonilandian request for non-intervention is taken very seriously. The republic's geographic proximity and access to large weapon stockpiles puts it in a position to decide the fate of the entire rebellion- the rebels have openly admitted that they are depending on Deskh support to drive the occupiers from their lands. Prometyan instructs two secret diplomatic cables to be prepared - one to Astoniland, one to Serbatiya. These messages are intended to help peacefully resolve the bloodshed in the Sotnian Isles through international cooperation.
However, orders are also quietly issued to prepare a limited mobilization in the tragic event of a war. Furthermore, the Channel Squadron of the republic's undersized navy has been put at the highest level of readiness.
Oh, What A Lovely War
All Deskoslovakians welcome the exploits of Valedori's army in New Rhomania as the hated easterners are driven back by Valedorian courage and steel. The national press decries the use of toxic gases by New rhomania as a crime against humanity and a new nadir of Gladian degeneracy. Some of the more radical revanczists even try to enlist as volunteers in the Valedorian army, although the government officially discourages this practice. Yet, despite the Deskoslovakian people's sympathies with the Allied powers, the republic reiterates its neutral stance and remains uninvolved in any official capacity.

If They Strike, We Do Too!
While we have chemical weapons of our own, we've never used them in actual combat. The only time our chemicals have been used was in Astoniland, which was by a foreign government. But with recent news of Olivedrabian usage of such weapons, we cannot be left behind in such a vulnerable state. We must use weapons of this type ourselves, even if it is cruel, but really, who cares about cruelty? The Ministry of Defence's Pharmaceutical Corps has synthesized and started producing new and revolutionary chemicals that will surely aid us in combat. Out of the many newly-created chemicals, two stand out due to their high toxicity and deadliness:
Propan-2-yl methylphosphonofluoridate/C4H10FO2P, more commonly known as Treox (named after its creators Alain Trézel, Curtis Reckord, Jean-Louis Echochard, and Abel Oxley) is an extremely toxic synthetic organophosphorus compound. The colourless, odourless gas/liquid has been designated as a chemical weapon due to its extreme potency as a nerve agent. Exposure is lethal even at deficient concentrations, where death can occur within one to ten minutes after direct inhalation of a lethal dose, due to suffocation from respiratory paralysis. No cure is known to exist. The first Treox tests on dissidents have fetched positive results, and the weapon has been authorized to be used against Olivedrabian targets.
Chlorine Trifluoride, nicknamed "The Devil's Water" is a colorless, poisonous, corrosive, and extremely reactive gas that condenses to a pale-greenish yellow liquid when pressurized at room temperature. While commonly used in certain industries, it has recently been investigated for its potential military use. In tests against dissidents and animals such as cows, it has been demonstrated to be an extremely effective and deadly incendiary and poison weapon. Targets catch on fire and completely explode in just a matter of seconds when in contact with the liquid while surrounding targets that weren't wiped out by the initial explosion are killed due to the poisonous gas the substance exudes.
We've also started producing a gas mask of our own, but just like the Olivedrabian design, it is rather bulky and completely useless against certain weapons.

Our Interests Threatened? Nothing A Coup Can't Solve!
Seeing as the viperous Astonilanders have completely betrayed us and our allies, we can't obviously stand such an action. We hold key assets in Astoniland due to long-term military and economic investment in their archipelagos and said assets are being threatened by the Olivedrabian sphere of influence due to them being able to peacefully bring the Astonilanders into their fold. To counteract this move in this big game of chess, we have approached the Kolonial Trope, the most feared in the Astonilander army, about a potential offer, a very bloody one. Seeing as we have similar interests and a deeply rooted alliance due to the constant aid we've given them, we have proposed a potential coup carried out by the Kolonial Trope, in the process, putting a friendly regime that is ideologically similar in these strategically-positioned islands.
We have offered the Trope various things, such as constant, uninterrupted military funding, rapid industrialization of the islands, and further investment into civilian infrastructure. In return, the Kolonial Trope will adopt our glorious Social Nationalist ideology and practically become a puppet of ours. We've also guaranteed full protection by our navy in case the Olivedrabians decide to react to the coup, which they most likely will. While this coup can bring us a new ally into our ever-expanding Concordat, it is also rather risky, and we are putting our relations with Astoniland on the line in case the coup fails or gets discovered. But hopefully, that'll not be the case, and we can make another nation see the true light of national salvation.

While the Rhomanian Front with Valedori begins to slow down, due to chemical attacks and overstretched supply lines on the side of Valedori, the Rhomanian Government begins a new wave of propaganda, largely aimed at those who support Haute-Outremer and Valedori. Most prominently, the Rhomanian Embassy in Deskoslovakia decries their press, citing their 'attempt at moralism from the sidelines', after they declared the use of Phosgene gas as a 'crime against humanity'. The diplomat went on to claim the usage of chemical weapons was out of a necessary force for the defense of Rhomania, not of desire for cruelty. Furthermore, the diplomat claimed, if the Valedorians did not want to face death, they should not have invaded.

The blockade on the Stonic Isles had been rudely interrupted by a horrifying sight. Cargo ships and a whole military-grade ship approached the islands with the navy demanding they turned around. Many refused, with only a few going back after seeing the actual number of heavily armed ships aiming their weapons at them, including but not limited to ironclads and old Deskoslovakiain vessels captured during the GCW, a show of force perhaps.
Seeing this, the navy tried to keep them busy while another one approached from behind, this would, of course, be very costly oil wise but hoped it would be worth it seeing the sheer number of ships and the chances of striking the jackpot were too good, if the tactic was successful the ships would have nowhere to run and would be forced to surrender but if they fired back this would prove quite the diplomatic incident for Astoniland and might cause war, but who really cares about war?
Boarding ships were also readied, preparing to use the same tactics they used to take over those Deskoslovakian ships, the boarding ships were painted black or blue on the top to make them harder to spot from high heights sometimes a Maxim gun was prepared on the ship, and the crew depended on the size going from 4 men to 16 men. While yes small there were many of them preparing to take over and capture the ships armed with Serb shotguns, Molotovs, and revolvers they were ready to take over and check to prepare themselves for any resistance to be dealt with. If any contraband was found it would be seized and either used to pay for the trip back or sent back depending on if any guns were found, while the military ship would simply be seized and sent back to the mainland to be torn apart and analyzed maybe ransomed if Marinokoni or anyone else was willing to buy their ships back, and the crews of this ships would be arrested and interrogated by Military Police, whom by the way were known to be particularly rough having survived both the Expansion Wars and the GCW, after that, they may be sent to their homeland.

The Serb Foreign Legion has finally arrived in Astoniland capital. As they get off the ships they are welcomed by the joyfull locals whom shower them with gifts and play music to welcome their fellow brothers and sisters from the far-east. Wasting no time, it is agreed the Serb Foreign Legion will be led by an Astonilander commander due to them having more experience in Astoniland itself however any action or order that crosses with Serb code of honor will be disobeyed no questions asked.
In reply to Deskoslovakian telegram, the Serb Commite of Foreign Relations has consulted with Milosh on how to respond to this, and after a brief deliberation a telegram in return has been written, stating:
It is rather disturbing to think that we are in Astoniland to further promote violence and bloodshed. On the contrary we also seek that this conflict be ended in a quick and effective manner without blood being spilled. As you may know the Republic of Serbatiya and Astoniland are two nations that are actively engaging in cultural exchange program, as a result we have our own people on those isles that we wish to protect. You have our guarantee, that Serb Foreign Legion will behave in honorable manner with dignity and will not harm any civilian during the duration of this conflict. We understand your fears but as Serb People's Army and People's Militia have proved time and time again before, the safety of your countrymen is not endangered when it comes to Serb Foreign Legion presence there. We ourselves are willing to open any talks to bring peace to this conflict and listen to your proposals on how to end it, but we will not pull out of Astoniland till our own people there are safe from the conflict.

Until the month of April, the communist forces have been slowly pushing towards the Iron Line of the National State, not without casualties though, as the retreating fascist forces, despite inferior from a numerical standpoint, managed to inflict significant amounts of damage. Despite the slow advance, the inexperienced generals of the People’s Liberation Army believed this was the final crumble of the National State, as their defense tactics have finally crumbled against the communist army. However, it all changed when the pushing divisions encountered a resistance so fierce in the mountains in the east, that all the military personnel of the Socialist Republic were left mesmerized by how fast their attacks were repelled. After a lot of insistence from the military generals of the communist army, the political leaders agreed to halt the planned offensives in order to handle the supply necessities and fortification and entrenchment of the People’s Liberation Army. According to the general assigned on the front, “a complex system of forts and sections of dozens of meters of barbed wire and other obstacles were defending against the push of the People’s Liberation Army”. While the communist forces started to fortify their positions, the National Army started the most brutal artillery bombing campaign ever seen in the civil war yet, using cluster ammunition and the phosphorus bombs. In only 2 weeks, the bombing wreaked havoc on the communist forces, causing thousands and thousands of casualties. A telegram sent by a lieutenant to the central military headquarters in Akitawagata states: “The bombs are falling without stop, sometimes for whole days. Me and my battalion set camp in the town of Milsukioto, which has been bombed heavily for weeks at this point. Out of 2300 soldiers, only 321 are still alive, most of them heavily injured. I watched them burn alive, screaming. The town we stationed in is now just a bunch of concrete pieces turned to dust, and most of the population that was left following the evacuation of the Nationalist-Socialist forces is dead. As of now, I am suffering from blindness due to the terrorizing gas bombs the fascist war criminals use, and my nurse is typing the telegram for me. We need to retreat, sitting still is suicidal.”
Instead, the leadership of the People’s Liberation Army issued an order for an all out-attack on the north of the country, which led to the start of brutal trench warfare and multiple failed offensives resulting in a lot of casualties on both sides, with the losing sides being the Socialist Republic. After months of failed pushes, the People’s Liberation Army decided to retreat, after a brutal defeat that left the red army of Ueshido crumbling.

Despite the appearance of a new prototype plane, the scientists of the National State also have been focusing on developing a new weapon, never used before in history, which is the so called “戦車”, or tank, an armored vehicle which is very hard to destroy due to the thick iron armor, and is capable of breaking through the enemy trenches. The project has been but forward ever since the beginning of the war by the scientist and engineer Kotoru Sumibishi, who also projected military vehicles that are now used in the National State military, but to a quite small extent. All the previous models projected have failed the quality tests, until Sumibishi came up with the “Sumibishi armored vehicle prototype 97”, which would have improved guns and wheels, as well as an emergency evacuation door in case the tank would catch on fire or would be hit by the enemy artillery. Despite the scientists being skeptical about the efficiency of such a vehicle in warfare, they decided to allow it to be produced, therefore passing the quality tests. The military leadership soon took over the project, agreeing to produce it on a reduced scale, having in mind a counter-attack on the main island against the enemy forces in which the armored vehicles would put the fascist troops at great advantage. The National State Ministry of Defense has also ordered several other prototypes that are considered quite safe, in order to instruct squads of 3 volunteers on how to maneuver a tank.
The flight schools
If you live in the central islands of Ueshido, which are very peacefully controlled by the National-Socialists, you might see, in the sky, some weird looking flying objects, that might strike you with fear or panic. Those, in reality, are the future pilots of the National State, flying relatively close to the level of the earth, learning how to operate the prototypes of Kotora in order to participate in the war effort, in an ambitious project known as the flight school. Ever since Kotora’s plane passed the quality test, the military generals have figured out a way to use it in order to wreak havoc on the communist scum and help defeat the Socialist Republic once and for all. This however came with quite a cost, as the development of the latest prototype, which was in reality the only one which was relatively safe to fly, was not cheap. However, the military generals were super confident that the skies could be used to their advantage-they only had to conquer them first.
