At 0600 this morning several bombs went off on a small patrol group and training group of 70 TAF and 200 Omani Security Forces, killing 47 and wounding 113. Due to ethnic tensions between Oman and Yemen, and Yemni criticism of Omani surrender, it is believed that Yemen is responsible for the attack. In response the Joseon Fleet has been ordered to fire a retaliation shot at a small outpost on the border of Yemen and Oman. At 1730, a ship-fired cruise missile struck a forward operation base, killing an estimated 233. Early this morning, members of the Zeta cartel killed an estimated 90 civilians in a small town in southern Mexico. They attacked in the morning, taking the town by surprise and overwhelming the local police force in order to go door-to-door to eliminate as many civilians as possible. Another attack occurred north of this town, where Zeta soldiers detonated explosives and fired into crowds, killing upwards of 60 civilians. In response to these massacres, which have been claimed by the Zeta, SSF personnel in the area gathered local militias and security forces to launch a vicious and brutal counterattack, claiming an estimated 320 lives in a "purge" like attack, as described by locals, where Zeta and non-Zeta cartel members were gathered and killed en-masse in town squares, in homes, and in the country, as these SSF led posses used their full authority to execute Zetas and destroy their homes. SSF and police around the country did similar things to this, with an estimated 497 Zetas being killed nationwide. The SSF recruitment has spiked recently, with 34 new recruits being added to the SSF infantry roster alone.
