I'm apparently 100% - 90% Lutheran or 100% - 90% Eastern Orthodox. According to this quiz:

http://www.selectsmart.com/FREE/select.php?client=FindYourFaith

My results change if I answer only 1 question differently: Number 18

Nazarene/Wesleyan (56%)

Guess I'm in the right denomination then. Good to know! ;)

Not surprised to have Episcopal as my #1! Still interesting as a non-denominational Christian.

Interesting... you're almost 100% on all 5.

In other news, I'm in a deep struggle with denominational doctrines. I'm Lutheran, sometimes I'm Catholic, sometimes I'm Orthodox. I can't figure out who is right. Lutherans seem mostly right, Catholic doctrines sometimes don't feel right.

Orthodoxy seems correct in a few major areas but some doctrine requires more articulation for me to understand it properly. What I like about Lutheranism is that our doctrines are contained in a singular book- but I haven't seen such a book for Orthodoxy, yet.

The thing is that some questions were never asked in Orthodoxy as they have in Protestantism because there was no need. Others are not formulated in concrete because they aren’t dogmas and allow for some freedom of opinion, because they don’t negatively affect salvation and understanding of the Church and Christ.

A simple relationship with the Most High through Christ is the way to go.

It's probably because I essentially only took a position on the things about women and one other one. It's not really accurate. Not taking strong positions is best in a lot of ways.

Anyway, I cut off two inches of my hair today and feel like a different person. What have you guys been doing? :)

Yes, it is. However, I need to know which "version" of God is correct. Lutheranism makes the most sense.

MESSAGE

REFLECTION

PRAYER

Our Father in Heaven,
Hallowed be your name,
Your Kingdom come.
May your will be done on earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into tempatation,
But deliver us from evil.
For yours is the Kingdom, the power & the glory forever and ever.
Amen.

O God, your never-failing providence sets in order all things both in heaven and on earth: Put away from us all hurtful things, and give us those things that are profitable for us; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

I just cut 23 inches off my hair. Super strange.
Also raised £702 for a mental health charity so far and donating the hair to a charity which makes wigs for children who lost their hair due to cancer.

Almighty God, whose blessed apostles Peter and Paul glorified you by their martyrdom: Grant that your Church, instructed by their teaching and example, and knit together in unity by your Spirit, may ever stand firm upon the one foundation, which is Jesus Christ our Lord; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

I may be the president of the region's centre-right party but even I think we need a centre-left party to balance out the 2 current centrist and centre-right parties. We just need someone to drive this!!

Geneviev, Mendevia, Americolumbia - perhaps 1 or all of you could drive this... I seem to remember you sit left of centre??
