> Thinking about pagan England in CKII
> Realise entirety of non-Norse England is Christian
> Further realise that in order to reform one needs the holy sites
> Which are in continental Europe
> Also in order to even continue your pagan dynasty you need the courtier to be pagan to indoctrinate your kids
> But if courtier is Norse culture then your kids lose Anglo-Saxon culture
> Mildly miffed
(*Celtic faith from Ancient Religions Reborn mod glares.*
Also, you have ruler designer?)
The islands of versilia and Elfland
Eh, I wouldn’t mind doing that as some kind of King Arthur’s reincarnation thing.
I unfortunately have neither that, nor CKII, nor a computer to play it on
Gee thanks life for being a f****** c*** and leaving me with barely money whatsoever
I was just trying to play it in my head
Kk
Cuz it’s more unique I guess
Graag brom and Elfland
Fair enough. I'm curious, what are you planning your Reformed Pagan Faith to be? Also, really, all you need for that are like, 2-3 prepared invasions. Take Denmark and Frisia and then try to conquer that one Norwegian holy site. Don't try to take the one in Saxony because the Christians will feck you up.
Hm, this has made me want to do a Pagan North Sea Empire run in CK2. Maybe when I have the energy for it, I guess.
(So a Roman who busted out of their tomb and worships the Celtic Gods? [Given some post-empire Roman warlords likely inspired the myth.]
Dang, makes me more thankful for the occasions when my family has money for things like that. Most of it's from my father throwing himself ever-deeper into student loan debt he probably won't ever be able to pay back, but still.)
Wobbegong and The islands of versilia
My list is for roleplaying purposes
Nature: Dogmatic
Doctrines: Equality, Sons of Ragnarok
Leadership: Autocephalous

IDK maybe? Or just a delusional Welshman who thinks he’s King Arthur reincarnated and thinks both Germanics and Christians are invaders.
Yep...
Graag brom and Elfland
(That would work to, plus the possible insanity trait would be a nice way to get extra good traits in from the ruler designer, as it'd really add negative points... [Even if Wounded is a better way to do that, provided your aren't unlucky enough to die of an infection almost immediately.]
*Insane Welshman conquers all of Brittania, proceeds to outlaw pants, form warbands of 'shroom-using warriors without much supervision, has an incident where he beat a servant over the head with a shoe because he thought they were a talking and humanoid otter, and makes his horse Court Chancellor.*)
For gameplay purposes I hear Proselytising is great, but I don’t know how much it adds to moral authority.

(Was just bored and decided 'why not?')
(Folks were watchin' from their windows
Every body held their breath
They knew this handsome ranger was about to meet his death
About to meet his death...)
(Happy belated Fat Tuesday.
"Fat Tuesday? Is that like a Michigan thing Wobbes?"
The day before Ash Wednesday, Mardi Gras, French, literally ‘fat Tuesday’, alluding to the last day of feasting before the fast of Lent. Polish paczki.)
(Was going to lure Akel and Dino with paczki but had work today and Versilia would have been asleep)
