Just copy his idea. I wouldn't really suggest using lasers in an offensive capability-they're much better as defensive weapons, in my view.
I agree, lasers are much better for defense. The main question however is how to power them.
Oh Fuso doesn't need orbital phallic-shaped rods of mediocrity. It has more than enough nuclear bombs in SLBM's and cruise missiles to end several dozen cities at once. My intentions are more defensive in nature.
