I'm pleased to announce that I've changed My Nation's flag and classification for the month of June — Pride Month! My new flag is a combination of the Canadian flag and the pride flag, in support of all those who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. The flag also features a golden maple leaf in the middle, signifying that June 8th will mark My Nation's third anniversary! (Wow, have I really been playing this game for three years?) My new classification reflects this too.

Norma Jeane Mortenson—who will become better known around the world as the glamorous actress and sex symbol Marilyn Monroe—is born on 1 June 1926, in Los Angeles, California. She was later given her mother’s name, and baptized Norma Jeane Baker.
After a tumultuous childhood—both maternal grandparents and her mother were committed to mental institutions, and she lived with a string of foster families—Norma Jeane married one of her neighbors, James Dougherty, when she was 16. He later joined the Merchant Marines and was sent to the South Pacific during World War II. A photographer “discovered” the naturally photogenic Norma Jeane while she was working in a California munitions factory, and she was soon launched into a successful modeling career. She divorced Dougherty in June 1946 and soon after signed a film contract with 20th Century Fox.
At the outset of her acting career, Norma Jeane dyed her brown hair blonde and changed her name again, calling herself Marilyn Monroe (Monroe was her grandmother’s last name). After a bit part in 1947’s The Shocking Miss Pilgrim, she had a string of forgettable roles before landing a spot in John Huston’s thriller The Asphalt Jungle (1950). That same year, she also drew attention for her work in All About Eve, starring Bette Davis. Her true breakout performance, however, came in Niagara (1953), a thriller in which Monroe played an adulterous young wife who plots with her lover to kill her husband.
After starring turns in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and How to Marry a Millionaire–both also released in 1953–Monroe was at the top of Hollywood’s A-list. In January 1954, she married baseball great Joe DiMaggio at San Francisco’s City Hall after a two-year romance. Though the press hailed their relationship as the quintessential All-American love affair, trouble began brewing almost immediately. DiMaggio was notoriously uncomfortable with his new wife’s sexy public image, and her wild popularity, as evidenced by the near-riot among U.S. servicemen stationed in Korea during a performance she gave in the middle of the couple’s honeymoon. They would divorce that October, after only nine months of marriage, but remained good friends. (After Monroe’s death, DiMaggio famously sent roses to her grave several times a week for more than three decades, until his own death in 1999.)
Monroe attempted to switch to more serious acting roles, studying at the prestigious Actors’ Studio in New York. She earned positive reviews for her more nuanced work in Bus Stop (1956), The Prince and the Showgirl (1957) and particularly Some Like It Hot (1959). By 1961, however, trouble in Monroe’s personal life–her third marriage, to the acclaimed playwright Arthur Miller, dissolved after four years–had led to her increasing emotional fragility, and that year she was admitted on two occasions to hospitals for psychiatric observation and rest. Her final film was The Misfits (1961), written by Miller and co-starring Montgomery Clift and Clark Gable (it would also be Gable’s final appearance on-screen). In June 1962, Fox dismissed the actress after repeated and extended absences from the set of Something’s Got to Give. On 5 August 1962, Monroe was found dead from an overdose of barbiturates in her home in Brentwood, California. She was 36 years old.

As Exsorcial showed, you can make a pretty good representation of an extreme far-left country without much restriction. Is being(or roleplaying as) far-right, without being fascist(somehow) subject to restriction?

Tbh, Exsorcial is so far removed from any realistic ideology that I’m not sure you can even properly map it in any meaningful way to real world analogues.

2nd June 1946 (75 years ago): Institutional referendum lays the foundation for the birth of the Italian Republic
Until 1946, Italy had been a kingdom ruled by the House of Savoy, reigning royal house of Italy since the Unification of the country in 1861 and previously rulers of the Duchy of Savoy. However, in 1922 the rise of Benito Mussolini and the creation of the fascist regime, which eventually resulted in engaging Italy in World War II alongside Nazi Germany, considerably weakened the role of the monarchy.
In the final phases of World War II, King Victor Emmanuel III, tainted by his former support for the Fascist Regime, had tried to save the monarchy by nominating his son and heir Umberto "general lieutenant of the kingdom"; the king promised that after the end of the war the Italian people could choose its form of government through a referendum. In April 1945, the Allies of World War II advanced in the Po plain supported by the Italian resistance movement, and defeated the fascist Italian Social Republic, a puppet state instituted by Nazi Germany and headed by Benito Mussolini. Mussolini was killed by resistance fighters in April 1945.
Victor Emmanuel formally abdicated on 9 May 1946; his son became king as Umberto II of Italy.
A Constitutional Referendum was held on 2 June 1946. Republicans won, and the monarchy was abolished. The Kingdom of Italy was no more. The House of Savoy, the Italian royal family, was exiled. Victor Emmanuel left for Egypt, where he died in 1947. Umberto, who had been king for only a month, moved to Portugal. The referendum at the origin of the Italian republic was, however, the subject of some controversy, not least because of some contested results and because of a geographical divide between the North, where the Republic won a clear majority, and the South, where the monarchists were in a majority.
A Constituent Assembly was in place between June 1946 and January 1948; it wrote the new Constitution of Italy which took effect on 1 January 1948.
The Peace Treaty between Italy and the Allies of World War II was signed in Paris in February 1947.
Festa della Repubblica (English: Republic Day) is the Italian National Day and Republic Day, which is celebrated on 2 June each year, with the main celebration taking place in Rome.
The differing colours on this map show the percentage of support for the introduction of a republic in the 31 constituencies at the Italian referendum of 1946. A total of 54.3 % of the voters backed the new form of government and with it the abolition of the monarchy. Regionally, there were clear differences in the voting behaviour. South Tyrol (apart from a few municipalities) and the areas of Trieste and Gorizia didn't take part in the referendum.

Brief Purpose: To avoid frequent Special Elections and cut-off the workload of the Election Commission.
RL-050., SPECIAL ELECTION DEREGULATION AMENDMENT ACT
Preamble:
ACKNOWLEDGING: that the Special Elections are a way of filling the vacant position in the government
UNDERSTANDING: that there are a lot of other existing ways of filling up vacant government positions instead of only Special Elections.
KNOWING: that the constitution ignores and nullifies those existing ways of filling up vacant government positions and requires holding a Special Elections in case of a vacancy.
FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGING: that doing so halts the government activity and puts unnecessary pressure on the Election Commission.
This piece of legislation hereby amends/establishes the following:
Section I: Removes the Article VIII, Section 11 of the Constitution of the Free Nations Region
11. In the case of a vacancy in an elected position, a Special Election shall immediately begin for that office.
a. Special Elections shall function in the same method as a normal Election Season.
b. If the Special Election would begin less than a month (30 days) before the Election Season, the normal Election Season for that position shall be called off.
Section II: Removes the Article III, Section 3a and Section 3b of the Constitution of the Free Nations Region
3. Any elected or appointed member of the government who does not post on an FNR-affiliated site for a period of 14 days without notifying the region beforehand shall be removed from office.
If reasonable, a special election shall be held to replace a removed official.
The Citizens’ Assembly shall determine whether or not a special election shall be held.
If a special election is not held, or an appointed official is being replaced, the President may appoint a replacement with the approval of the Legislature.
Any member of the government found to be using puppetry or coercion to make any sort of gain shall be immediately removed from office.
Section III: Establishes the Article III, Section 4 of the Constitution of the Free Nations Region
4. In case of a vacancy in the government, a President may appoint a replacement with the approval of the Legislature within seven (7) days of the vacancy of the post. The Legislature may invoke the Vanguard Protocol or the Cromwell Protocol to fill the vacant position. In the event of a conflict of interest, when the President nominates a replacement and the Legislature starts an activation vote for the Vanguard Protocol or the Cromwell Protocol or both. There shall be a referendum in the Legislature in which the citizens shall be given the choice to approve the replacement nominated by the President or activate one of the Protocols.

The Cromwell Protocol if activated, initiates a Special Election on any Vacant Position(s) in the Executive Branch of the Government.
Special Elections shall function in the same method as a normal Election Season.
If the Special Election would begin less than a month (30 days) before the Election Season, the normal Election Season for that position shall be called off.
There shall be a vote in the Citizens' Assembly to activate the Cromwell Protocol.
The Activation vote shall be sponsored by 5 citizens before it can go to vote.

ACKNOWLEDGING: The Free Nations Region is a well developed region and can use it's tools and assist's to help regions lacking the know how to develop and maintain sustainability.
UNDERSTANDING: that this is strictly to develop a unit under control of the Minister of Foreign Affairs that will ASSIST other regions. This is not a way for The Free Nation Region to colonize or annex any region.
PURPOSE: the purpose of the bill is to create a access for regions in need of help to apply for assistance and the Minister of Foreign Affairs can send someone or themselves to help provide resources and knowledge.
This piece of legislation hereby amends/establishes/ratifies the following:
Section I:
Any nation recruited/appointed to The Goodwill Corps will be in direct orders of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Interregional Rehabilitation process shall include a application process to properly vet regions seeking assistance.
Any nation in the Interregional Rehabilitation Program will be under complete law of the The Free Nations Region.
Section II:
The information and resource's shared between The Goodwill Corps and accepted regions shall not break any confidentiality agreements within the government.
Any nation participating in The Goodwill Corps is absolutely forbidden to influence/infiltrate any democratic elections within the assisted regions representing The The Free Nations Region.
The Goodwill Corps is not permitted and is absolutely forbidden to promote colonizing or annexing under The Free Nations Region control.

As far as I'm aware, roleplaying as authoritative or dictatorial is allowed and okay. It sometimes causes some confusion as often when people choose to go down that route, it's difficult to draw a line between doing something gruesome or just roleplaying. So you most certainly can, just try not to bring it too far in things such as genocide, cannibalism, and all of those funky things. We have definitely seen all kinds of crazy 😂!
