The democratic republic of the antarctic

It's crazy how active it gets when people compete against each other for a seat of power.

Also sorry for bringing him up. His name is almost like a cuss around these parts.

I honestly don't remember, if he did serve in two positions it would have been abnormal and probably an oversight on account of inactivity in one office or the other.

The Oatland Regional Defense Administration hereby officially endorses Xakememorinatri for the role of Caesar. They are:
-Above the age of 18
-NOT HERE FROM YOUTUBE
-Active in our Region under a previous nation for over two years
-Responsible for consistently posting the highest quality content on the RMB

I know, right.

Oatland's oddly quiet today...

Lennia and Octonovem

I will remind everyone that only senators should be voting in this election.

Franche Comte and Mondlicht states

Xakememorinatri

When does the election start? Can we have a couple of weeks to campaign?

It has literally already been going for two days

I have a question, is Oatland now officially an election simulator?

And we're on a speed round now, I guess

No, but we've had two incompetent/treasonous Caesars in a row now. It's kind of a crisis.

Wow okay. I had no idea that it was like that...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that there isn't a clear majority in the vote, given the amount of non-senators that voted...

I'm on top of it. Mondlicht has 5, Xakememorinatri has 3, and These United Socialists has 4.

Mondlicht is our new Caesar, hail.

I'm not the best at math and I hope I'm not being annoying, but isn't a 50 percent majority required to be elected?

No, you're right, but I'm pretty sure nobody who voted for Xakememorinatri is going to vote for TUS given they ran on the platform of stopping TUS from being elected. Plus we really need to get things back on track here.

Does anyone object to this and insist on doing the follow up?

I personally feel that we should probably move on given a new vote will probably just be a repeat of the electoral gridlock ..

Hail to Caesar, may they serve better than their predecessors...

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Pls let it end

Broken Edge, Franche Comte, and Octonovem

From the sounds of it, NEVER.
