Hey guys I was looking at conch kingdoms history and I was wondering if any older members new why there was a major spike in July 2020

I can tell you why there was a big spike starting the 20th of April 2020 ^^
Basically on that day a youtuber name Drew Durnil made a video about NationStates which got the site a huge influx of new Nations, the event is known as the Drewpocalypse, since the site also crashed at that time.
But basically massive influx of new nations. That's why the number also start going down 28 days after that, many nations that are still active today were created in this time period such as my self, Aelandi and Charville to only speak about some of those who are currently in the government. I'm pretty sure the the July thing was just a remanant spike of the Drewpocalypse after all those which were about to directly CTEd had already CTEd managing to keep the number up a bit before they starting going down again.
And with a good recruitment effort we managed to be back on the upper trend since then ^^

Always heard about Drewpocalypse, never thought it was recent. I thought it happened a few years ago. My grasp of time is really is fading away lol.
