Enemies Of The State

by Greater banitia

Preamble

Nations listed below have called in to question the right of Greater banitia and all her Protectorates and Colonies to operate independently as free, sovereign entities. They have openly attempted to interfere with official business of the state by way of military and/or economic action, to a level deemed intolerable by the Banitian Government and all it's allies.

Such Nations are to be treated as openly and actively hostile. Any ongoing political engagement is suspended, and any further political engagement is forbidden. All Banitian citizens are to be repatriated.

The Greater Banitian Military are assumed to be active in the area

We are most saddened to hear of your troubles with the peculiar institution in your country and wish you more luck in the future. We offer to buy any emancipated, uppity, or otherwise troublesome slaves for our world-class slave markets and in return we ask that one considers our own wares. Local, hardworking Nubians are most numerous, of course, but Celtiberians, Celts, Huns, Britons, and Germans make wonderful slaves as well, not only as laborers or pleasures but also as tutors or domestics. Your most humble friends, the Romans of Africa.

We do indeed support the peculiar institution.  Our slaves are physicians, soldiers, manufacturers, pleasure-men or -women, farmers, miners, millers, etc. While slaves within the Empire have the rights of human dignity in Christ and censure of cruel masters, we are willing to overlook such trivialities for countries we sell to. As our slaves are foreign purchases, convicted criminals, or prisoners of war, they tend to add some color to our otherwise homogeneous and regimented Mauro-Roman state.

Well there are some who are trying to ban it in the region after a little problem with another slave state causing a ruckus and one nation starting prostitute rings and calling allies outside of africa to help him

In a sense. We are subordinate to the Empire in Rome (est. 1947), but we are independent in theory. Our legal status is more akin to a protectorate, as war upon us would mean war upon the entire Roman Empire and even all of National Fascism.

That is good to hear. We ask that you perhaps trade with the Empire for other commodities? We are primarily a nation founded on international trade.

lmao this literally made absolutely no freaking sense.

I love how almost all of the slave states in this region stipulate that their slaves have rights, and then proceed to list all of the exceptions, making the listed rights pretty much useless.

New gazi wrote:New Gazi's pavilion was full of activity. Traditional drum, wood flute and stringed kora music is played on a stage in front of a straw home similar to those seen in Gazilian grasslands. Each musician wears colorful face and body paint symbolizing the different tribes. Many of them go back to times of the ancient Gazilian Empire, long before the Scandinavian Vanns arrived on long ships.

A coffee stand is not far from the half-scale mockup of one of these early 14th century sailing ships. There are several flavors, all made from beans grown in Gazilian soil. Both Black African and White Scandinavians wear traditional clothing and give speeches to passers-by on their culture. It is a shared heritage between both people.

A stuffed Gazilian Sabrecat, much like the ones roaming the Savannahs of New Gazi was on display. Wildlife Rangers stand by it and tell visitors about the animal, it's habitat and how New Gazi acts to protect them.

One curious development is the women speaking with French accents. They appear jovial, recent transplants from the land of Nouveau Canadia. One was seen crying. She shook off the question when approached, saying she missed her husband.. Her former husband. She soon continued serving coffee, apologizing for her outburst. The coffee industry has become one of the largest employers for the Canadian migrants. These people reflect the newest chapter of the Gazilian legacy. Their heritage will soon blend into the Scandinavian and African blood of the landscape. Over 23,000 Canadians are currently shipborne, sailing to a new life in New Gazi free from the political oppression they were doomed into.

We have heard rumors of pleasure-women available in your nation and would like to offer you a premium market.
