O-bon is quite beautiful. More locally, the Great Yorkshire Show is fun, though I have not attended in many years. I am not a summer person, so I tend to spend most summers indoors trying to stay cool, when I am not at work.

I'm assuming that expenses, housing, and food would already be taken care of.
So, I guess I'd choose Bhutan.
It's a country literally known for it's peace and zen.
