Judiciary of the Republic of Bzerneleg
I. Supreme Court
The Supreme Court of the Republic of Bzerneleg is the highest court in Bzerneleg according to Part 5 of the Constitution. Its duties are to supervise the Parliament and the Government, ensuring that their actions are not unconstitutional, or violating the Constitution. Its powers are limited by the other two branches of government. The President of the Republic of Bzerneleg has the power to nominate Justices to the Supreme Court which requires the approval by two-thirds of the Senate. The Chief Justice shall preside over the Supreme Court.

II. High Court
The High Court of the Republic of Bzerneleg presided by the President of the National Assembly is responsible for pronouncing the impeachment of the President of the Bzerneleg if he failed to carry out his duties, or convicted of high crimes and misdemeanours. The court consists of the President of the National Assembly and 45 Members of the National Assembly. Rulings given require a majority by two-thirds of the High Court and shall have immediate effect.
III. Courts of Appeals
The Courts of Appeals of the Republic of Bzerneleg, 38 in total, are the responsible for determining whether or not the law was applied correctly in the trial court. Courts of Appeals consist of 3 judges, it hears appeals from lower courts within its circuit for a decision to be reversed. The Court of Appeals is divided into 4 divisions: commerce, civil, social welfare, and criminal. The Court of Appeals is the second highest court in the Republic of Bzerneleg.
IV. Commerce Court
The Commerce Court hears disputes between employers and employees, and trade and business disputes. there are 142 Commerce Courts in Bzerneleg and judges are elected from the local business community.
V. Social Welfare Court
The Social Welfare Court, 132 in total, hears disputes social security funds and users. The judges are appointed by the governor of the province.
VI. Civil Court
The Civil Court hears civil disputes including private property leases, the distance questions and height of the plantations, asset seizure, defamation, guardianship of minors and disabled persons, voter registration, etc. The court's rulings could be appealed to the Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court.
VII. Criminal Court
The Criminal Court hears crime, terrorism, and illegal drug trade cases which could be appealed to the Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court. There are 3 judges and 6 jurors in each court.
VIII. Police Court
The Police Court hears minor criminal offences such as traffic violations, minor assaults, and breaches of the peace.
