Vote FOR SC: "Commend The New Meritocracy" | Office of Secretary Islandwalk

The Secretariat recommends a vote FOR Security Council proposal: Commend The New Meritocracy
Overview
This proposal seeks to recognize the achievements of The New Meritocracy, a region of long-standing historical importance with a storied legacy both in international and regional affairs. The resolution begins by noting the tense and contested early history of the region, as well as its emergence out of this period of conflict with newfound purpose and burgeoning unique and well-formed governmental structures. Much of the proposal recognizes the region’s achievements in this area, its fostering of open political dialogue, its ability to create safe spaces for disagreement and cooperation, many of the things which provide the foundation at the core of NationStates as an undertaking.
Recommendation
A region perhaps not as well known in the modern day to the average onlooker, The New Meritocracy’s achievements as a space of dialogue and a region founded in a deeply political basis are undeniable. Additionally, this resolution does justice to the successes of the region, and proves equally worthy of enshrinement within the halls of the Security Council. It’s a yes from me.
For these reasons, the Office of World Assembly Secretary
Islandwalk recommends a vote FOR "Commend The New Meritocracy".
