Hello there, I'm Aoife, also known as Imantica! I have joined our region in January 2026. Most people probably know me from our Dawnbreak roleplay, where I proudly work as a roleplay moderator. I have been active in most ministries during my time here, and served this term as Deputy Minister for both Media, and Foreign Affairs. Moreover, I have worked as Flamelighter in the Halls of Solaris. I like to think I can rightfully claim to be one of the most active Starborn, and I don't intend to slow down anytime soon!

What drove you to accept your nomination and run?

The new position of Skyweaver is very exciting. It is an opportunity in more ways than just one. It is a chance for Starborn to step up and make their voice heard, but most importantly, it is a chance to make a lot of other voices heard, too. As should go without saying, based on my previous answer, I love to support our region with everything I have, and I have had a lot of time to reflect on where I want to go during this parting term. I want to take every chance to steel the bonds between our regional government and the community, and, in all honesty, I also want to seize this opportunity to continue growing as a person. I am ready to take responsibility, more now than ever.

The Skyweaver is a new role which contains many possibilities. If elected, how will you plan to exercise the powers of the office?

So, I have elaborated on how I believe the Skyweaver will be a chance to connect our region more within itself. I believe the Skyweaver should embody a bridge between many different parts of our community. As mentioned before, it could serve to bring the government and our community closer together. It could give many Starborn a chance to be heard in the first place, and many of our outspoken community to have their ideas worked on - ideally, finalized, too.

I envision the Skyweaver to be a person of the people, one that will listen to what the many Starborn have to say - be it constructive criticism, ideas to be brought forth, fears they may have regarding their future in Starlight and Horizon. Only then can the Skyweaver even properly fulfill their role that was meant for them in the first place, which is to advise the Triune Circle on governing our region. I am not going to assume to know what our community wants and thinks, I am going to find out first hand. Then, and only then can we grow together.

The Aethereal Council will be an important part of your role. How do you envision working within it?

The Aetherial Council is made up from highly experienced people in any case, every term anew. This is a fantastic opportunity, as their experience will prove incredibly valuable to the Skyweaver, who is a lot more likely to rise from the ranks of those that are not nearly as seasoned as the Starborn of the Aetherial Council. As mentioned before, communication will, in my opinion, be the single most important duty of the Skyweaver, and that absolutely does include taking advice from those that know how things are done. At the same time, I intend to share my insights with the Council just as I would with the Triune Circle, seeing as how they are essentially an assisting body to them. I expect their opinions and view points to be crucial in order to reach the best results possible.

What is one dream you have for Starlight and Horizon to achieve by the end of this upcoming term?

My dream is to establish the role of Skyweaver as a beacon of unity. If, after these three months, every Starborn agrees that the Skyweaver is a person they can wholeheartedly trust with their ideas and their worries, and if both the Triune Circle, as well as the Aetherial Council continue to turn to the Skyweaver for guidance on how to handle community matters, that is what I would call my dream, first and foremost.
Additionally, I would love to see many of these ideas come to fruition in the Halls of Solaris eventually, as this is where the creavitity of the Starborn will truly come to life.

What is one area you think Starlight and Horizon can improve in? Why?

Starlight and Horizon are doing exceptionally well in a lot of matters, which is one of the many reasons I have always felt content with how things were run. I do believe, however, that communication can always be improved upon - and that accounts for both sides. It takes for people with great ideas to find the courage and make them heard. It is essential that people do not only listen to each other, but speak up on things that go wrong. Only with constructive criticism can we make problems visible.

What do you foresee as being the largest challenge in office for you? How do you plan to overcome it?

Making the Skyweaver visible, and getting to people to take note that, from that point forward, there is someone whose primary duty it will be to attend to the needs of the community directly before redirecting them, will pose a great challenge.

Honestly, I am sure that this can be directly addressed through further campaigning, advertising the role, and establishing dedicated channels, such as a Skyweaver forum (as mentioned in my campaign, I would love to call this Skyweaver's Cloud), where people are free to discuss the ideas of the collective. Taking these ideas to the Halls of Solaris and seeing them finalized will hopefully inspire even more members of our community.

Finally, the advisor role will also pose a great challenge. It will be difficult for someone clearly less experienced than both the Triune Circle, and the Aetherial Council to present their ideas to both of them convincingly. I believe this can overcome through hard work. Opinions of their own are difficult to get across when there is no foundation to them. The Skyweaver will have to learn, adapt, and act accordingly if they are to make a change - this is how they're going to make themselves believable, and it is exactly this what I intend to do.

In your campaign, you discuss bridging Starborn-leadership communication through the "Skyweaver's Cloud". What is your expectation for activity in this proposed forum? Are you comfortable regardless of activity level?

I believe there will be hesitation at first, as is usually the case with new projects like these, and it will absolutely be my duty to make sure that awareness is spread for the Skyweaver's Cloud. Eventually, especially after the first ideas are being discussed there, I'm sure activity will gradually pick up.
Obviously, I hope for as many Starborn as possible to take part in the forum, but I'm happy about every single one who will, and if things don't pick up as hoped, I will do everything in my power to make the project more accessible. Work never stops!

Hello, I'm Kadaizee, sometimes also known as NR. I'm currently a Marshal in the Galactic Armada and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs! I am also a Junior Commander in Libcord and CORAL. I also roleplay in our Celestara and Dawnbreak Roleplays.

What drove you to accept your nomination and run?

I decided to accept my nomination and run because of the exciting new possibilities of the Skyweaver when it was first introduced in the Halls of Solaris. I am very much interested in serving in the office as one of the first Skyweavers not only as a way to help define the role, but also as a way to get more involved in our government!

The Skyweaver is a new role which contains many possibilities. If elected, how will you plan to exercise the powers of the office?

As Skyweaver I would act pretty broadly with the powers of the office. I believe that the Skyweaver should act pretty broadly to help the TC, AC, and Ministries wherever possible.

The Aethereal Council will be an important part of your role. How do you envision working within it?

I envision working inside the Aethereal Council as a Leader. I would seek to work with all those inside the AC to make sure their projects or whatever else they may be working on come to effect and work out well.

What is one dream you have for Starlight and Horizon to achieve by the end of this upcoming term?

I dream for Starlight and Horizon to be in an even better position than it is now, with a Skyweaver, Aetherion, and Flamewarden who are all working to make this region better and better, along with an Aethereal Council and Ministries that are working smoothly and efficiently to make the best government possible!

What is one area you think Starlight and Horizon can improve in? Why?

Cross-Ministry Activity is one area we can improve in, I rarely see Culture working with Gameside as an example. The only real ministries I've seen buck this trend is Media and WAA between each other. As a Skyweaver I'd be glad to help see more of our ministries cooperate.

What do you foresee as being the largest challenge in office for you? How do you plan to overcome it?

Actually defining the role itself! Defining the role itself and giving it real valuable purpose itself is the biggest challenge I can foresee. I hope to define the Skyweaver role into something that can act as a bridge for all the government to the Triune Circle and vice versa!

You mention that you want to get more involved in our government if elected as Skyweaver. Where would you choose to go and why?

I would choose to help with really whatever ministry needed it. Say one ministry needed some help and couldn't get anyone else to do it, as Skyweaver, I would be the one who could step up and help them.

Hey everyone, I’m Aav, your Minister of Media. I’ve been leading the Ministry for the last three months, and under my guidance, we’ve produced seven (eight with this interview set) publications - four Voice of the Stars, three (soon to be four) special editions. Aside from that, I’m a RP mod for Celestara, where I’m probably best known for helping people work through biology/species mechanics in their RPs!

What drove you to accept your nomination and run?

Because I’m not finished serving Starlight and Horizon. I felt like last term was an excellent Ministerial term, and this is a chance to continue moving forward and improving our sister regions that I care about deeply.

The Skyweaver is a new role which contains many possibilities. If elected, how will you plan to exercise the powers of the office?

I plan to push the Triune Circle to permit oversight of executive roles, and then use the powers to drive my evil agenda to force Ministers to talk to each other. Aside from that, I plan to use its biggest power — being a public facing voice of the government — to drive Starborn engagement with the Ministries. You will be hearing from me if I’m elected, and you may or may not like it, but I’m going to be loud.

The Aethereal Council will be an important part of your role. How do you envision working within it?

The Aethereal Council functions extremely well as an advisory body, and that’s exactly how I plan to work with them, relying on their sound advice and feedback on ideas before pushing them forward. I don’t know what I don’t know, and having a group of experienced Starborn who can catch mistakes before they happen is extremely valuable and I’m glad they exist.

What is one dream you have for Starlight and Horizon to achieve by the end of this upcoming term?

To not have another mishap like we did the other night with the Intergalactic and Voice of the Stars. It was a regrettable breakdown in communication, and I want to make it so that we don’t have another one of those. Do I think we’ll be perfect at communication by the end of the term? No. But I hope we’ll be a damn sight better at it.

What is one area you think Starlight and Horizon can improve in? Why?

There’s a distinct lack of otters and entirely too many s-als floating around. We can improve by banning s-als entirely. 🦦

No, in all seriousness, I think Starizon can often feel too intimidating to a new joinee. There’s so many things to do, and even our welcome message on the Discord server gives people three roleplays, citizenship, and the Armada to consider, and that’s not including the ministries or anything else we’ve got going on! Gameside does an excellent job already trying to integrate our new players, and by no means do I think we’re doing a bad job overall, but I think that we’re suffering from our own success a little bit. I’ve been thinking about this issue for a little while now, and I wholeheartedly agree with my fellow candidate’s suggestion of the “Binary Stars” program, and I’m very glad they raised it as a campaign issue.

What do you foresee as being the largest challenge in office for you? How do you plan to overcome it?

Time. I have many ambitions, some that I’ve shared already and some that I haven’t, but there’s always the urge to “just one more lane bro i swear it’ll fix it just one more lane” with projects. I hope to avoid it this term by only starting new projects once the ones I’ve outlined in my campaign and Q&A have been completed, because those are the most important ones in my opinion.

You discuss being the person to carry out the vision of the Aetherion, à la a chief of staff or prime minister. Will you still devote yourself to this goal in cases of disagreement, and how would you ultimately resolve disagreements on policy?

Yes. No matter my disagreement in private, in public, the Executive Government of Starlight should always be a united front. Disagreements can be resolved through private discussion, but as soon as it becomes a public matter, the government line is the line, period.

Hi hi all! I'm Aster, also known gameside as Ubertas. I am one of two Deputy WA Affairs Ministers, a Gameside Staffer, Flamewarden Staffer, and FA Staffer/Ambassador to TFS. I also am on Dawnbreak staff and RP in Dawnbreak.

What drove you to accept your nomination and run?

To be honest, I didn't expect to be nominated on account of my being relatively new. But the community support for me being in elected office, truly warmed me and pushed me to accept. Truthfully, it made me happy that folks here vibe with me as much as I vibe with them. Lastly, I was excited about the Skyweaver position when it was passed and immediately saw it's potential for what it could be.

The Skyweaver is a new role which contains many possibilities. If elected, how will you plan to exercise the powers of the office?

To quickly summarize my campaign I see this unfolding in four ways:
Acting almost like a PM or Chief of Staff and keeping track of tasks, marshaling help/staffers or my own assistance where needed, and taking some of the daily strain off the TC itself. We have so many exciting Aetherion platforms with huge plans, and I want to help take on a managerial/organizing role to help make them happen. I see Skyweaver being a role where newer excited and dedicated folks can help run things, with the oversight and assistance of the Aetherion as a buffer. I plan to
I plan to learn and advise jointly. Skyweaver can help bring a popular and fresh (both in terms of the role being geared to newer starborn and just it being a new role) perspective to the TC. I think having a diverse viewpoint, especially one that keeps the new starborn in mind, is important. I also have my own experiance running a UCR, albeit a far less amazing one than Starizon, but nonetheless a large one. I hope to use that to advise the TC too.
I also want to learn how to run the region in the way the TC does and gain more GP experience in general. Our TC and Aetherion candidates are all excellent folks who I hope will advise me as much as I them.
Being a newer person, I want to help identify, nurture, and keep tabs of active members and talent. Just as the TC did for me back when I first joined, I want to make notes/maybe keep a list of folks who are promising and work with ministers to give them work, experiances, and even positions like Minister Sec. or Deputy Minister.

The Aethereal Council will be an important part of your role. How do you envision working within it?

The AC is an incredible resource, and I see it as a wellspring of experienced folks that the Aetherion and Skyweaver organize and marshal together to make their platforms reality. To that end, I plan to work with them to help produce cross-ministry projects such as the ones in my platform (First Light, WA Insider series, etc.). I also want to work akin to a chair, and help organize it's work. My hope is to have some documents that keep tabs on the projects the AC is doing, similar to how I revamped the IFV tracking system. Possibly even "chair meetings" or rather just have semi-regular pings for updates on their work and identify places to pitch in and help execute.

What is one dream you have for Starlight and Horizon to achieve by the end of this upcoming term?

I would love to see my cross-ministry projects get enacted, as well as at least a majority of the Aetherion's platform.

What is one area you think Starlight and Horizon can improve in? Why?

I think we need some guides or a folks to help make some heads or tails of everything. We've become massively successful and now command a huge apparatus of people and resources. Guides, staffing can only go so far when you reach a certain size imo. I also think a newcomer chat/ideas forum is a good idea. We're so large and have made so many friendships, I also worry that newer folks won't feel comfortable joining in or feel like they have an easy "in" with the community. Having a buddy or a guide or a "orientation" chat so to speak with dedicated people to chat in it could be a place specifically to forge new connections.

What do you foresee as being the largest challenge in office for you? How do you plan to overcome it?

Honestly, probably the learning curve. I know out of all the folks here I am the newest Starborn. That being said, my track record speaks for itself. I'm an excited and dedicated starborn and I learn very quickly. Not to toot my own horn, but I did become a Deputy Minister in the span of a month. I also don't give up. So story time. When I was in TCB and first became their foreign minster some 7ish years ago, they were diplomatically isolated. A former leader by the name of Zenny had a cult of personality, essentially raided the precursor to the NSLeft, and joined up with the raiders (sound familiar? History repeats lol). But anyways, when I became MoFA there, i worked tirelessly for 2 years to rehabilitate the mod system, interregional image, realigned us with defenders (and met the early LDF actually) and eventually got them into NSLeft. Obviously this all went down the toilet when I left, but for a time I like to think the project was a success. I still have that energy, and i'll bring it here to a far more worthy region.

Your campaign makes mention of a "buddy system" wherein ambitious staffers can shadow leaders and use that as a way to learn; you also tie this into Ministry Secretaries, a position yet to be used. How large is the scope of your plan? Do you intend this to occur across government, or in only certain areas? If the latter, where?

I think this will depend on what the TC, AC, and Aetherion think. I don't want to stretch resources too thin or sink time into something the government feels won't pan out. That being said, I still believe it can happen in some incarnation and be implemented across the gov't. I have an idea for newcomers and then an idea for starborn who want to get involved more.

Ideally, I'd like to have dedicated culture and gameside staffers who help welcome and pair up with new starborn. I'd like this to be the first thing people see/hear about when they join so they can be guided more through what our region has, think a more institutionalized welcome-questions channel. This is probably the harder one of the two if I'm being honest, and I am open to discussing this with the new gov. I could also see the "Skyline" suggestion forum/newcomer chat filling this role as well.

For more involved folks, I want to expand and define the minister secretary role. Instead of it being a "fancy staffer" I want it to be a role where the minister or deputy actively directs and sets up tasks for them. This would predicate there be some onus on being involved for the secretary role, and give them experience. I also forsee the ministry leadership letting Secretaries act in their capacity at some points, maybe for like a day, with SW or ministry leadership supervision and a defined list of tasks. This is the more feasible part imo, and if anything I'd like to push for this to be implemented at the very least.
