CORAL - Preparation
Why to use Puppets & Preparation DeadlinesWhile participating in N-Day can be plenty of fun with just one nation, using several nations (known as "puppet nations") will amplify the amount of nukes and shields you can produce and thus use. (Note: your World Assembly member nation has its production rate boosted, to the equivalent of 10 normal nations. Remember, you can only have one nation in the WA at any given time.)
There is a minimum population requirement for nations to participate in N-Day:
For a nation to be able to join a faction on the day of pre-registration (3 days before the event starts), it must have been created before September 18, 2026 at 4:00am UTC. (

We recommend trying to get all of your nations created before the first date (September 18), and only create them between then and September 21 if you've run out of time to do so before.
How to Make Puppets: Simple MethodNote: this method will only work in Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, etc.), not Firefox.
Open page=create_nation (Note: you don't have to answer all the questions at the beginning, you can just click on Next to skip to the next page) and fill it in once, including custom fields, email, password and nation name. Check the Terms & Conditions checkbox as well.
Then, instead of clicking the "Create Nation" button directly, hold Ctrl and then click it. This will open the nation you just created in a new tab, and will keep the other tab filled in with all the details you already entered.
Change your new nation's flag to one you like, optionally move it to a personal region or puppet storage, and then close the tab.
You should now be back at the original create nation page. Change the nation name, and do the same thing again, Ctrl+Click the create nation button (which may have changed to "Re-try", that's normal) to open it in a new tab (you may have to check the Terms & Conditions checkbox again) while keeping everything else filled in.
Keep in mind, if you start founding nations too fast, NationStates will rate-limit you. So try to pace yourself, wait a minute or two between each nation, and if you do encounter a message telling you that you've been throttled, wait a bit and then try again.
How to Make Puppets: Advanced MethodTo follow this guide, make sure you have the Tampermonkey browser extension installed:
https://www.tampermonkey.netWith Tampermonkey activated, install the following userscript:
nationCreator.user.js
Then edit it, and fill in motto, animal, currency, email and password, as in the following image:

Then go to
Hare's creation tool and fill in a list of nation names you would like to create, alongside your main nation name in the "User Agent" field.
Click "Start" and then "Download" to get an HTML sheet of puppet creation links. When opening any of them, the script you installed previously will fill in the required fields, and focus the "Create Nation" button. Press Enter to then create that nation.
Change your new nation's flag to one you like, optionally move it to a personal region or puppet storage, and then close the tab. You should be back at the HTML sheet, from which you should be able to open another link and create another puppet.
Keep in mind, if you start founding nations too fast, NationStates will rate-limit you. So try to pace yourself, wait a minute or two between each nation, and if you do encounter a message telling you that you've been throttled, wait a bit and then try again.
How to Use PuppetsIf you've only got a handful of puppet nations (up to a couple dozen), you should be able to switch between them manually during the event and cycle through them to use each of their resources.
However, with larger amounts of puppets, this can be way more painful to do manually. In that case,
join the faction Discord and request to be masked as a puppetmaster (in the #role-requests channel). We'll help you get scripts set up to cycle between your nations more efficiently.
