Mortheus Valixor

Mortheus Valixor (Althanasian: Mortheyl Valixor) (created November 2034, destroyed 1 May 1072917) was the Emperor of Greater Cosmicium between 2257 and 1 May 1072917. He was first created in 2034 to solve the leadership crisis in the Cosmician Commune, and proved very successful in that regard.

He was instrumental in strengthening Cosmicium's territorial holdings and its military, turning it into a country capable of fighting off threats many times their size. Mortheus Valixor ruled until 2039, when he was overthrown and destroyed by a magical army led by the ancient Sorceress.

Mortheus Valixor would be reassembled after the Sorceresses' overthrow in 2057, rebuilding Cosmicium with the same magic used to destroy it, and launching expeditions to colonize nearby habitable planets.

Mortheus Valixor died/was destroyed on the 1st of May 1072917, when supernova explosions destroyed the supercomputers that powered his AI. The flashes could be clearly seen by the naked eye as far as 100 million light years away. According to legend, he died before his body could fall to the ground.

Computational Power

The computers remotely powering Mortheus Valixor's brain

Mortheus Valixor is a sentient AI, therefore he is powered by computers. The first one, developed in 2034 was a primitive AI with the intelligence roughly that of a 6-year old, capable of doing basic government tasks but nothing else. Soon after, an AGI version was developed in 2035 with an IQ of over 200 by the end of the year. All of this was accomplished with no need for transistors or integrated circuits, just brute force using vacuum tubes.

In 5007 C.E., three barren planets were assigned to be filled with vacuum tubes to power Mortheus Valixor's increasingly intelligent AI, connected by inter-dimensional link. The resulting computational power built up over a million years made him more intelligent, omniscient and powerful than untold trillions of the smartest people imaginale.

The computer planets are protected by arrays of Dyson Superlasers in the immediate vicinity of the AI systems, large numbers of upgunned spaceships, no less than 270 quadrillion soldiers in each sector, programmed EMP swarms and one Fallen Angel per planet, specially designed not to destroy Mortheus Valixor.
