Sales of fishnet stockings have reached a record high, murder rates are on the rise as the popularity of soylent products grows, murder suspects plead the 'there was a rat beneath his chef's hat' defense, and descriptions of properties as "a stone's throw from the city centre" require a trebuchet to be true. Crime, especially youth-related, is pervasive, probably because of the absence of a police force. Minarchya's national animal is the Bear, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.
