The Jeltronian Imperial Armed Forces (JIAF) are the armed forces of the Nabetseican Realm of Jeltronia, consisting of the Imperial Army, the Imperial Navy, the Imperial Air Force and the Imperial Marine Corps. The Emperor of Jeltronia is the Commander-in-Chief of the JIAF and is assisted in forming and executing military policies by the Ministry of Defense. The JIAF employs close to 3 million uniformed and civilian personnel.
The Command Structure is meanwhile composed of two main bodies, the Imperial General Staff (IGS) which is composed of the Chief of the General Staff, and the chiefs of the different uniform services. The IGS functions principally as the senior military advisers to the Emperor, the Minister of Defense, and the Imperial Security Council. The other body, the Imperial Unified Commands (IUC), is composed of four-star generals and admirals. They are responsible for the operational command authority over assigned forces, regardless of service, and usually over a given area or territory.
