The Crysukon infantry arsenal

The main doctrine strikes a balanced between quality and quantity, having a large number of men at their disposal, but also giving them world class equipment and training to ensure the best of both values are brought forward.

The main service rifle is the AF-90 Mk3, an AK derivative chambered in 7.62x39mm with a fire rate 600RPM and a full magazine of 30 rounds, with support for a 40mm underbarrel grenade launcher. The main squad auto-weapon is the SDW-3, same calibre but with a higher fire rate of 650RPM, supported by a 75 round drum magazine. Primary GPMG is the MG-08, with tri/bipod support, with 12.7x108mm ammunition and a fire rate of 1000RPM. belt fed from a box magazine carrying 100 rounds.

The uniform is a hardwearing kevlar weave incorporated with Boron Carbide body armour and trauma pads, for superior protection against shot, shell and shrapnel. Every man is also equipped with at least 1 hand grenade, with rifle grenadiers carrying 40mm projectiles. Protection provided is level 3 for the uniform. 3A for the helmet, which consists of a ceramic and kevlar construction with trauma pads on the inside to lessen concussive effects.

For heavier weapons, there is first the MIAV (Missile, Infantry, Anti-Vehicle) a solid fuel missile launcher carrying a 4.6Kg warhead of either Thermobaric or tandem HEAT composition. To accompany this, there is also the MIMP (Missile, Infantry, Multi-Purpose) which is similar in construction, but has the threefold purpose of a secondary anti-armour launcher, bunker busting and collapsing buildings. Lastly is the MIAA (Missile, Infantry, Anti-Air), which sends a 1.5Kg warhead at Mach 1.8 with a 3 channel optical guidance system (UV, near-IR, mid-IR)
