The Community of Kaphellonia is a mammoth, safe nation, ruled by Kassandra Aetós with a fair hand, and notable for its soft-spoken computers, state-planned economy, and restrictive gun laws. The compassionate, democratic population of 7.987 billion Kaphellonians are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Education, Welfare, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ikaros. The average income tax rate is 78.3%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The thriving Kaphellonian economy, worth 698 trillion drachmas a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is quite specialized, is led by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Tourism, Book Publishing, and Basket Weaving. Average income is 87,387 drachmas, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Wars are filled with soldiers wielding machetes and chainsaws for safety reasons, territories have the right to secede if they aren't happy, war is made in the name of love, and leather-clad individuals can be seen walking their slaves in public parks. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Kaphellonia's national animal is the eagle, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Kaphellonia is ranked 17,359^th in the world and 3^rd in Atlantis for Longest Average Lifespans, with 90.79 years.
