The Federal Republic of Auruna is a titanic, safe nation, renowned for its frequent executions, unlimited-speed roads, and punitive income tax rates. The compassionate, devout population of 18.819 billion Auruns are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Education, and Environment. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Veratuna. The average income tax rate is 90.2%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Aurun economy, worth a remarkable 1,938 trillion Aurun Raviens a year, is quite specialized and led by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Tourism, Arms Manufacturing, and Book Publishing. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 102,985 Aurun Raviens, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Nude art is becoming wildly popular, Leader can be seen doing doughnuts in a new Rambogini, warfare increasingly resembles a video game, and a few people seem to spend their whole time complaining. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Auruna's national animal is the Aurun Golden Eagle, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies, and its national religion is Christianity.

Auruna is ranked 12,139^th in the world and 3^rd in Council of Constructed Languages for Most Compassionate Citizens, scoring 60.52 on the Kitten Softness Rating.
