Supermarket milk is a shear-thickening fluid that can stop small-caliber bullets, a typical fast food menu item could serve a small army, Max Barry is this year's Miss Yandaw, and the black market offers sweet deals. Crime is moderate, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Yandaw's national animal is the peacock, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
