The founder is the de facto puppet of Zurkerx, but if need be, I will password the region at a cost of 50% of my influence.

No need to use that much: he's back.

Tfw have to spend what are basically mana points to keep the community from getting trashed by people with way too much time on their hands.

Based.

Well. What a time to be alive.

It's good that he is back, as if we got raided, I would expect defenders to join the raid as opposed to defending the region.

Huh? How come?

Like anyone is going to raid us

Not now obviously.

The liberated territories

at best raiders write graffiti all over the rmb. at worst they kick people and refound the region. But unless we are all kicked (something that would cost a lot of influence) we are fine.

Better safe than sorry. Plus, the security problem has been corrected; this is old news, and nothing wrong with being cautious.

So, I do see Trump and his allies tried to interfere in Arizona now. Can't say I'm surprise but now my (everyone's) question is how many more places did he do this?

This is what happens when I'm not NS as much and the news aps don't report it: I miss stuff!

Zurkerx wrote:Huh? How come?

Precisely.

We get it. It's not notable, but since this site has griefers, one cannot be too cautious.

I don't wanna be that guy but god damn I miss the polls here
Zurkerx how are you guys holding up?

Personal announcement:

Dear NS Friends:

I finally came to a realization that's been a long time coming today. And that realization is that after nine years on NS, I no longer enjoy being here.

I think I've been slowly coming to this realization for awhile. I mostly stopped participating in political discussions a couple years ago. For awhile now, there have been just a few forum threads that I still visited regularly. But even those have lost their shine of late.

Having been around as long as I have, I've seen many people pop in and fade out of the NS World. Some became friends, and some definitely were not. I'm glad I had the interactions I did. But I just don't have the energy or time to waste on something I'm not enjoying anymore. And so it is now my turn to be the one to fade from the scene. The funny thing is I don't think there are too many still around to care too much.

I'd like to give a big thanks to the folks in the sports threads in NSG and especially the NFL thread. You all are the only reason I stuck around as long as I did, and I appreciate you guys and even consider some of you friends.

The Star Wars thread as well, is formerly a place where I had interesting debates and discussions. And for those of you who made that thread a mostly enjoyable experience, I thank you.

And if any of my old TET pals from back in the day happen to see this, I appreciate you all too and the old conversations we once had.

Anyway. Enough mushy stuff. Moral of the story, I'm leaving. On the off chance that anyone who doesn't already have me on Discord wants to stay in touch, shoot me a TG. I'll log in a couple more times to check my mailbox. Otherwise, so long NS. Thanks for the good, the bad, and even the ugly.
