Oh, those are good. The problem is that when you're trying to implement using just the Euro and having other restrictions, it tends to interfere with national sovereignty. The EU was good on paper, but became more bureaucratic overtime and is now essentially trying to create one giant nation in Europe.

The EU should only be for those purposes: free trade and freedom of movement. Nothing more; nothing less.

Oh okay, yea i'm more or less of a sovereigntist and i sort of hope for a brexit because UK will be pushed to trade more with my country (NZ) but they should try to keep the freedom of movement and trade because that will hurt their economy

No. The EU's tariffs were initially higher. For example, American made cars suffer a 10% tariff when imported to the EU, while the US only considers a 2.5% duty.

Of course the primary motivation for brexit — that Britain should have more control over its borders — may be somewhat misguided, it also may be better than the one-size-fits-all package the EU brings to the table.

The whole borders stuff is pretty stupid, like the racists are too dumb to know that the UK will technically become less white after brexit because the europeans won't be given preferential treatment for immigration
