In the case of Goopyy, I allowed them on a very limited basis - this was subsequently latched onto by everybody else, who assumed that because I accepted it to a limited extent, it was fair game.

But if you would like to play by those rules, then everyone has access to your 209Cs, your 840s, your FW-390s, and furthermore everyone has spider-silk kevlar and titanium hardplates, and everyone has whatever madness GB has stuffed up his sleeves too. Because if you can magically reverse-engineer advanced technology and somehow improve upon it to the level that a limited rollout can be pushed army-wide within a week of seeing it for the first time - not even capturing it, or otherwise having access to know how the moving parts work, or how it's built at all, it's only fair that everyone else can do that.
Or you and everyone else can accept that if you want to have neat special superweapons of your own that nobody else can have, you don't get to magically gain access to everyone else's too.

Hi, welcome! I see you're interested in running for office - that does require you to sign up for citizenship on the forums, but if, as many of these people are saying, those are completely impenetrable to you, I'll happily provide some help with navigating them.
Because really, the forum isn't all that different from the RMB - just that it's like a collection of multiple threads, each of which isn't attached to the other, allowing you to, say, have one RP in one thread, and another completely different one in a different thread entirely, so nobody gets confused.
But if that's not a great selling point, there's always the Discord, where you can come shoot the breeze.

Much of the stuff that happens in Wintreath goes on on the forums, and I for one had no difficulty navigating them when I first arrived here. They're just like any other forums.

It beats the hell out of me why people are so hostile to joining the forums. If the only reason you've come to Wintreath is to RP then you are missing out on quite a bit, especially other RPs based on the forums, werewolf games, regional government, spam subforums, etc etc.

i eventually gave up because it wasn't working
y'all would stop briefly, then a month or three later i'd get the same question, which i'd again devote probably a good 20 minutes of my life to, only to be greeted with AH MY BALLS THEY'RE BUSTED and only minor alterations
it just gets exhausting
