Well done.

I just sent 5 Super Soldiers on a mission to rescue a downed pilot and purge some infestation nodes and spore mines. Seems easy enough, And they did it. But for stealth, only the flamer could fire, the mines were spawning extra fast, and they pack mortal wounds now instead of just a scratch. One mine shrugged off the flames, and immediately killed 3 marines. The rest had to outflank the mines and still ran into another, which wounded the Sgt. Since I did this at night instead of the afternoon as planned, but he images didn't turn out very good.

Following new legislation in Beinirham, auditors are gutting every governmental department.

Oops, clear cut the government, again. Not a good idea, and I knew this would happen. That shanty town of Bureaucrats trapped in the catacombs of the capitol gets to me sometimes. I did not want to preserve them as part of some discovery channel as they leech on tax resources, so I used the hatchet on the budget when I knew I should have used scissors like usual.

Some things like Defense will take a LOT of rebuilding. Other areas that saw a focused growth over the past year, like Human Development and Education, are back to where they were before. Tax rate has never been so low, and employment rate is up. So disposable income has skyrocketed and the economy is just fine. (Economic output dropped by about half the size of the regional average output, but is still #1.)

In other news, we've replaced prisons with coliseums, again, and with the savings we're building a space elevator, cause we don't know we can't.

Chapter Master Karzor Vekkohneth of the Blades of Sanguinius walked into the Vox Tower, engaged the astropathic communication, and said, "We will aid in purging this Tyranid menace from the nearby space! Even if we have to work alongside those... tau. And, tau, if we shoot some of your forces, that will be an accident. Prepare the Xorekh Shock Guard! And rally the Blades! Tyranids, YOUR DOOM IS AT HAND!"

He walks out of the tower. A serf standing nearby said, "Sorry about that. most Blades of Sanguinius are very... mentally unstable. There is even a rumor going around that Chapter Master Vekkohneth has succumbed to the Black R-"

He falls to the floor, dead, as the astropathic communication ends.

Following new legislation in Tau Sept, soldiers are equipped with multi-million hex battlesuits.
Yes, that happened here too.

Isn't that exactly the kind of thing that actually exists in the Imperium?

Trotterdam wrote:Isn't that exactly the kind of thing that actually exists in the Imperium?

That is true.

Trotterdam wrote:Isn't that exactly the kind of thing that actually exists in the Imperium?

Yes, and it gets worse. That similar issue where the stack of shelves containing legal/tax codes collapses and kills a file clerk also comes to mind. There is a city/planet sized library out there generated from a clerical error which ordered a hard copy of the entire Imperial code, the largest-most near complete collection outside of Terra of the ancient accumulation and growing living document.

This narration covers a snapshot of the Imperium of Man, 4:34-5:20 focuses on the task and plight of the Administarum. https://youtu.be/Z9xMnVfg_n0

Classic, seems to be a trend these days. Lest we forget, (from 52 days ago):

Beinirham wrote:Following new legislation in The Nuclear Sovereign of Beinirham, at the edge of the final frontier space's biggest missile platform is about to unfold.

We've done it! We can all go home now.
Oh, home was Catachan. Let's not go there.

BRU MkI wrote:What do Ethereals know of Chaos? Even if they did have a hint and have concealed it so well, are the T'au even equipped to adapt to that all of a sudden? Surely a ripe foothold for taint in the galaxy, and we called them a stain before. Tsk, tsk.

Former Inquisitor Vykola Herat: Remember the Horus Heresy? The Emperor tried to hide the existence of Chaos, and look what happened. Know thine enemy. Words most large empires and nations abide by. Also, I blame Lorgar. The Enclaves first encountered Chaos when a daemon of Tzeentch possessed a Water Caste Magister who nearly killed me.

This is canon. It's in Farsight: Crisis of Faith by Phil Kelly. Farsight banishes the daemon. Also, Aun'Va tells another Magister who privately doubted the Ethereals to kill herself.

So to try and spark some action in the RMB
I had the chance to play some Inquistor:Martyr over the weekend, while I truly enjoyed the graphics and the weapon possibilities, I did not enjoy the voice acting and lines, was very lackluster in my opinion.
But since I brought up the video game genre of 40k/warhammer in general, I have a question for our community, what is the best video game in your opinion?
