What's more iconic Americana?

The Cowboy, or Prohibition Era-Gangster?

Joohan wrote:What's more iconic Americana?

cowboy

left-wing: playing homoshock, gaylo, tomb gayder, etc. for "entertainment"
right-wing: exclusively playing super princess peach

I'm gonna rephrase the question. Who would win in a hand to hand fight:

James Gang or Dillinger Crew?

Imma say James Gang, seeing as how all of them were combat veterans of the Civil war

cowboy 100%

american gangster = probably italian and catholic, dark features, speaks fast

cowboy = originally cornfed tenesseean, now perfectly bronzed amerikaner, calls it like it is

1000% this

It*lians are ok but not more classically American. Mel Gibson as that riverboat gambler is peak US.

This is quite the dilemma

Take a wild guess...

Cowboy: Scots-Irish, God-fearing frontiersman
Gangster: Swarthy, recent immigrant hoodlum

Personally, I prefer the Prohibitionists. Carry A. Nation did nothing wrong. :^)

There is a phrase in investment banking called the "banker's 9-to-5". It means 9:00 am to 5:00 am.

For those curious, this is an example of flow I was talking about yesterday.

Am I wrong in getting the impression that low-to-mid level office drones work their asses off while the big bankers take it easy? Or is the lazy cokehead on the director's board because of his family just a trope?

Yes. The big bankers themselves are also office drones. Even the director's are working at least 70 hours a week because most banks have an "up-or-out" system, meaning you're fired if you don't achieve a certain rank within a slotted time (usually a few years). Once you make Director/Partner, you're then assessed by how much business you bring in.

The guys who sit on their asses golfing all day are usually wealth managers. The dipshït cokehead sons of directors and clients are usually placed in make-do roles where they can't fück anything up.

I'm happy that I didn't do anything finance-related. Here's hoping planning isn't so intense. When are you planning on retiring btw? Sounds like a sh*tshow, I'd get out as soon as I could and do something more relaxed.

so what do you guys think of the russian bounty stuff going on.

YES. I KNOW IT CONTAINS INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE.

It was well known for years they were helping the Taliban. Back in the day on NS, I warned people but they didn't believe me. Oops.

I do not however, believe they offered open bounties. That's an American thing not a Russian one. Weapons and shekels sure but they wouldn't do that. Unnamed sources without proofs is a dumb *sshole lesson our r*tard media still hasn't figured out.

Here comes Questers obfuscating things with sh*tposts to cover up his mad that we glassed Vietnam. Well played, with commentary of that quality, you might well fit in at the New York Times.

This. We've been trying to kill each other since like 1917 - this shouldn't be news to anyone.

Yes but can it be proven? The last time we had this sort of thing, we killed a million people and wasted trillions. Unverified leaks with zero backing about a behavior mode out of the norm is suspect. That it is given to us by people who, in a just world, would be asked to fall on their swords for their level of failure even more so. I do not doubt Ivan funded and gave weapons. This is just part of the game. The bounties I press [X] on. Though ironically those who mocked me before mentioning this on NS 4 years ago are the most hysterical now.

Edit: cucked by auto correct

Ooof, rough range day. Go ahead end me lads.
