You and me, mate?
Sure. I know I haven't been active lately as I have have been really busy lately. I hope that will change soon. It will be changing soon.
I had my own small plans since no one was in charge when I got here, but I'm happy to discuss whatever ideas you guys have! IvoryTower has already told me about some.
For those who are dont know what Vampire the Masquarde is, here is a wiki that just gives a briefing of it. It has a lot of lore with it though. Its a very interesting take on vampire lore in general with different types of Vampires, with different abilities, bloodlines. Their unique characteristic stem from the orignal 13 clans which were created by Cain, the first Vampire from the children of Seth. However, other Vampires developed as vampirism spread, influenced greatly by the persons life and culture when they were alive. For example, the Tremer were mages that drank the blood of an Tzemche (I am probably spelling the names WAY wrong) which were like monster, flesh crafters, in order to gain their immortality. as they were mages they developed a form of blood magic. From them a sech seeking a cure, though not finding one, but altered the bloodline and developed a type of earth magic. they were wiped out as Christianity took over and they often lived in Pagan societies as priest, priestess and even Gods and Goddess. Laombra control shadows and tended to be sired from the Catholic Churches. Venture are the nobility, siring from nobles and other wealthy , high born people. Bali come from India and developed from the Kali Death cults. Assimates are Arab and developed from an ancient order of assassins. Their vampire skills and the traits they have comes from these strong cultural beliefs from life.
Its really fascinating. Then you have 3 main sechs as well. The Camerialia which are like the ones that bring order, keep laws among Vampire society. They are run by Elders from each of the main clans. The Anarchs which reject the laws of the Camerila and being under the rule of a group of elite vampires. Then the Sabbot which are basically monsters, they embrace their vampire nature as monsters and are at war with the other sechs.
That is where my name from , the Ivory Tower, in the PC game bloodlines is where the Camerial Prince of LA resides.
That is very interesting, I had never heard of this variation of vampire worldbuilding before. My country, Vitalarium, is heavily influenced by anime depictions of vampires, particularly Owari no Seraph, with my own personal spin.
I have not seen that Anime, I will have to check it out. You should looking to the Vampire Masquerade world. It is really very fascinating. Pretty much Vampires control everything but from the shadows.
Thank you, good to be here.
