Uniterra Regional Message Board

Firstly, the size of Parliament is poorly constructed. What if we only have 20 nations in the new region? Then there would only be 2 nations in Parliament. It would be better to have a minimum in the Constitution, then either have one added for every ten -or- leave it open and let Parliament decide a system later down the line that maybe better suited for the Region.
Secondly, enshrining the elections process in the Constitution would make it very difficult to change if there are flaw in it (not saying there are, but there are possibilities). Allowing a law to be drafted by Parliament would make it easier to be adaptable in the future.
Those are the primary two. If I can think of others, I'll keep posting.
Amendments to the constitution, once it is passed, is possible, if we find any flaws in these parts once the region is functioning. Even if we only have 20 nations there are still 3 people that a bill will have to go through to become a law, the two parliament members and the president (personally that is fine with me). Plus we are expecting to have way more than just 20 people.
From experience, putting too many regional mechanics into the constitution may lead to an inactive Parliament because all of the "important" legislation in region building is already taken care of.
Like I said before we can always pass amendments that void other parts of the constitution if need be.
To all who remain:
We continue our NS journey to the The United Ascendancy. I hope everyone joins us. Uniterra was good to us - the first members being a group of veterans from a war torn former region. Time and stability healed our wounds. Now, we move further in hopes to form the next great region of NS.
I herby resign as Attorney General.
Once I tie a few loose ends, I too will be departing for The United Ascendancy.
If you do not wish to come with us, thank you for your time here in Uniterra. Good luck in the rest of your NS career and your life outside of this game.
God bless.
I, President of Uniterra, will be closing most of our discord as it will not be needed much more. The necessary parts will remain open in case it's ever needed. Also, I will shortly be resigning my position as President of Uniterra. It's been an amazing opportunity to serve as your leader and I hope to be a big part in the new region of The United Ascendancy. I hope to see you all there!
Goodbye Uniterra, it's been fun! You've been my home for almost my entire NS career, and I couldn't be more appreciative for all of you. Thank you and God bless you all. See you on the other side!
Goodbye Uniterra. My first encounter of Uniterra was with my original nation, Quantilia. I was in Yarnia, which had an embassy here. Since then, I knew this was a great region. I finally came here for good with my newest main nation, and it did not disappoint. I am proud to have been a part of Uniterra's great legacy, and bid farewell to the great region I called home. I now welcome and usher in a new era in The United Ascendancy. God bless you, God bless Myrkvifiord, God bless Uniterra, and God bless the United Ascendancy. Thank you.
- Wrexham McDay, President of Myrkvifiord
Note: I am not Christian, I just said God bless you because that's what ends most speeches and rallies.
