COSEC is formed as a Protectorate/Protector agreement caused by the merging of two separate protectorate alliances, COG (The Coalition of Ordered Governments) led by the Nexian Empire and the ISA (Intercontinental Security Alliance) led by United Tropics of Torchland.
As stated above, COSEC is a Protectorate/Protector Agreement between Prime Davina Madison of Nexian Empire and Prime Minister Pierre Poilievre of United Tropics of Torchland (them being First Ministers of COSEC), and nations who have either requested or been offered protection from either minister. The purpose of COSEC is to safeguard new and small, adolescent nations from the influence and hostilities from possible international threats and strengthen member states to have a formidable influence on the world stage. COSEC will be treated as a defensive and diplomatic agreement between our three nations.
Terms of the Coalition:
Protectorates will be able to govern themselves without any interference.
Until the protectorate is able to defend itself from the offensive nature of other countries, both ministers will come to the aid of said protectorate during times of war.
The protectorate may not declare war on any neighbouring countries in the region until they have an official efficient, sizable, sustainable military.
Either minister may call on said protectorate for military aid in defensive wars only.
In times of need, the protectorate may request economic assistance, governmental assistance, and of course Military Assistance from the ministers.
5a. (Defensive wars aside) Military Assistance means intranational help with rebels, preventing a coup, etc.Each member of COSEC will be required to pay a small amount of 2% of their nation's total GDP towards COSEC. 1% will go towards the funding and development of COSEC's member states' economies and 1% will go towards the funding and development of COSEC's international defensive military.
If these terms are acceptable, then these nations will be made a protectorate of the United Tropics of Torchland and Nexian Empire.
